HUNTED-Chapter 363: Lights, camera, action! (1)
[ Hunter P.O.V ]
That prick, Chase Hunt, ruined everything his father and forefathers built for them. The system that was set up to get rid of these filthy beings was slowly crumbling the more Chase was lenient with those that deserved to die. Hunter was certain he was probably shacking up with one of them.
The filth always seemed to be overly good-looking. Almost ethereal-like, and that made it worse.
Now Hunter and a few others who followed the ’old ways’ of the Hunters Association were booted out. If Chase was half the man Silas was, he would have put a bullet in their head to silence them. Now they were starting their own association, ’The Order’.
There were only ten of them so far, but they knew there were others like them that didn’t follow Chase. How was he even Silas’ son? He had such a reputation behind him, and now he sent their troops to help the werewolves and had discussions about making HA law enforcement.
Even worse were the hunters who agreed with Chase and were happy following his leadership. Hunter shook his head as he waited in position, gun trained on the targets as they stepped out of their fancy-ass sports car. How were these werewolves and vampires always so rich?
Sure, these two were the King and Queen, but other packs were similar. Maybe they weren’t quite so luxurious, but still. Maybe it was passed down through generations? Probably stole it all in the first place. It would be easy to do so. They had inhuman strength, speed and agility, among other things.
"It’s not fair, is it?" Bruce whispered beside him. They stood on the rooftop across from the annoyingly good-looking couple. Their main target was to take down the bitch, Aila Cross.
Since Aila turned up, everything went to shit, and that silly little remark that she left at headquarters fired the small group up even more. It had taken some time to locate her after that mess with the vampires, but they knew where she would head next, and these pack animals don’t move from their territory.
Ignoring Bruce’s question that didn’t need an answer, Hunter pointed the camera set up on his gun and pushed down on the radio so their team could hear. "Make sure the cameras are set up." He then pressed his own above his head.
His was set up live on WatchTube, as were the others, connecting to the same visual feed for viewers to watch. It was also being saved onto a drive they would then send to the news. The fear instilled in the public wasn’t enough. The public needed to see what these people became and why The Order should be looked to for help instead of the pathetic Hunters Association.
"Allen, how is it looking?" Hunter spoke into the radio, keeping his sights on the Alpha-Luna couple. Allen had been injured as a result of helping the werewolves when he remained with the Hunters Association.
The guy returned to them with his tail between his legs, limping away and asking to be a part of their group. He could not return as a soldier, the damage was too much, but he was also useful with technology. He wasn’t all muscle, and no brains like some of the hunters were.
Allen was set up in the large white van down the street from the main shopping centre. It was easily accessible, and he could stay on the double yellow lines pretending to be working for the council to fix a flickering lamp that would not turn off. Unknown to those around, Allen was the one to cause it days before for this specific reason.
They didn’t know the pair were coming into Silver Thorne until the day before when one of their guards discussed it whilst getting some shopping. The she-wolves seemed both jealous and happy for the loved-up pair. You’d think they’d be a bit more discreet?

From what he learnt, though, was that the humans here had lived in harmony with the Silver Crescent pack for centuries. They’d been aware of their existence the whole time. Werewolf lovers.
Allen shook his head and focused on the screens from where he sat in the back of the van in the dull lighting. All four cameras were set up on one screen.
"All good to go. Putting it live in 10.. 9.. 8.." He began counting down. He raised the volume of their surroundings so viewers would catch whatever was said by the werewolves. The team already knew to remain as quiet as possible.
Allen would speak over anything with the microphone in front of him.
"1, and now it’s live," Allen finished and pressed the button setting WatchTube to live.
The title would draw viewers in. ’Revealing werewolves true nature by The Order.’
Viewers streamed in quickly. The four different camera angles showed Aila and Damon from up close, where one hunter remained in the crowd, pretending to be a civilian, while the others were at varying angles. Two on the roof were Hunter and Bruce. The pair were parting ways.
Bruce remained on the roof, and the angle of his camera (camera two in the top right corner) looked more like a video game with the targets in his gun’s vision. Aila’s chest was under the dot of his aim.
Hunter’s camera was moving quickly as he stealthily climbed down the roof to a lower position, eyes still on the target. His camera was directly above his head.
’This is boring.’ One viewer commented before more started to complain.
Allen clicked his fingers and turned the microphone on so he could speak to the audience.
"This is just the beginning. The werewolves you see are Damon Steel and Aila Cross. They are on the most wanted list the hunters drew up. We are The Order, a sect from the Hunters Association, a group who follow the way of the hunter than this new age bullshit. These creatures you see before you may look pretty and charming, but there is a beast inside of them that can easily attack if upset."
Two of the cameras were nearby showcasing the beauty that was the Luna smiling up at the Alpha, who pretty much covered what a werewolf’s true personality was like. It was perfect for the audience that kept growing. Their comments changed, wondering what they were going to do. There was a battle of comments between fear, aggression and silly peacemakers.
"They walk among us looking normal, but they are not," Allen continued. "If they lose their temper, they are dangerous."
Aila Cross and Damon Steel parted ways in the cinema. "Eye on the target." The radio blasted. The camera was pointed at Aila while two other cameras were still outside on the busy streets.
"Secured.." Bruce trailed off, his gun moved around as he noticed there were more than two Delta wolves protecting the Luna.
Hunter’s camera showed a large brown wolf barrelling towards him, and he took aim. "One down." The pistol had been silenced, but there was no mistake that the wolf was a werewolf and had been taken down.
Civilians screamed, and chaos ensued as they ran away and more large wolves showed up.
