How to Tame a Villain Character-Chapter 123: Behind the Stage

Fifteen minutes before the musical performance started, Claudia and all the members of the Scarlet Community were ready on stage. Meanwhile Harry, Kyle and Godfrey occupied VIP seats so they could see the people closest to them more freely. The atmosphere at the music performance location was quite quiet because they paid respect to the king who was visiting a festival for the first time just to watch his daughter’s performance.

Harry and Kyle chatted first before focusing on their respective partners’ appearances. Harry looked happy looking at the still empty stage, imagining his beautiful wife shining brightly made him feel like the world belonged to just the two of them.

"Actually, where have you been?" Kyle scolded folding his arms.

"I’m just on business."

"You care more about your business than your own wife. Don’t you know your wife is always moody?"

It’s true what Kyle said. Harry remembered the time he found his wife walking alone along the stalls selling various sweet foods. His wife’s face was gloomy as if she needed someone’s warmth before she had to appear on stage. However, on the one hand, when he picked up the orphanage children, his wife showed a happy smile. Was the smile Claudia showed a fake smile to cover up her sadness?

"You are cruel, Harry. All women need their partner to accompany them when they face a big obstacle. I’m sure it’s the first time Claudia is facing it, that’s why she really needs you."

Kyle patted Harry’s shoulder with a teasing smile. "It seems I am more reliable than you. Even though Clarissa always chased me away, I still went to her. Even though she hit me because she was annoyed, I still went to her and calmed her down. She always complains and feels that my presence annoys her, but I still come to her."

Harry raised his right eyebrow. "Isn’t it more likely that you are very possessive and don’t give her freedom?"

"I always say that my wife is a special woman and the most valuable woman," argued Harry with a glare.

"You think your wife is an object? If you always think of her like that, I’m sure she’ll be angry too. You are a very rigid type of man even though you have been married for months."

"But, is it true that all women like their partners to say words of love? Claudia doesn’t seem like that type of woman."

"Just try practicing it yourself!"

On the other hand, King Godfrey was busy greeting fellow ministers and attending musical performances. The atmosphere of the music festival was closely guarded by palace soldiers. However, the palace soldiers let anyone attend this event because there were no invitations distributed by the Scarlet Community members and anyone was welcome to come. Including Claudia and Harry’s parents also attended the festival.

Meanwhile Harris sat alone among the ministers. He was quite fed up because today he was dumped by his ex again and hoped that someone would be willing to accompany him now.

"You got dumped again?" Vivian’s mocking voice suddenly made Harris’ blood pressure rise.

Harris looked away. "Don’t ruin my mood."

Vivian occupied an empty chair next to Harris. "Actually, I didn’t intend to come to you. But there is an empty chair here, so I had to take it."

"Why do you suddenly want to go to a music festival? Don’t you really hate attending shows like this?"

"I’m just curious about what your ex-girlfriend looks like. "Moreover, Harry will definitely be very enthusiastic about watching his wife’s performance."
