Chapter 109: Chapter 109: Conversation Between Mother and Daughter

Dahlia also invited Claudia to visit her residence to cover up the wounds on Davina’s face. When she just entered her residence, she was greeted by her mother’s angry gaze. Davina immediately hid behind Claudia, afraid that her mother would scold her for not being able to defend herself.

"Why are you guys just coming home now?"

"Mother, don’t blame Davina today. Actually, almost every day she was bullied on campus?! Can’t you see Davina’s completely devastated face right now?"

The mother immediately looked at her youngest daughter’s battered face and almost fainted. "What actually happened? Why didn’t you tell me, Davina?"

"Because I don’t want you to see me hurt like this."

"But, you are still my daughter!" The mother sobbed while hugging her daughter tightly. "I’m sorry mom has always been demanding of you."

Netra Davina also had tears in her eyes hearing the words of apology spoken from her mother’s lips. "It’s okay, Mom. All parents certainly hope for the best for their children." For a moment her eyes fell on Claudia. "Mom, thanks to Claudia, I’m not hurt anymore. Today she is my hero."

This time Harry didn’t mince words, wanting to hear the stories of the criminals. He immediately took action, essentially hitting the three criminals with a golf ball until their cheekbones were broken. After doing this repeatedly until the three criminals lost consciousness, Harry ordered several of his men to lift the bodies of the criminals and then put them into a sedan which had been set to have broken brakes.

Tyson lifted the rock that stepped on the brake pedal. Let the sedan drive by itself along the quiet road. Moreover, poisonous gas is installed in the car which can kill people by inhaling it.

His secret mission was over, Harry returned to his sedan with Thomas. Looking at his palms covered in blood, he was actually very disgusted and wanted to vomit, especially since this blood was the blood of criminals. What he did today was quite brutal, imagining his wife seeing his hands covered in blood, he was worried that she would be scared. Hopefully when he gets home Claudia will be asleep.

Even though he had used a wet tissue to clean his hands, the smell of blood still lingered on his body. His eyebrows lowered, staring blankly at the deserted highway. Listening to the words of these criminals who were still innocent, his blood pressure was still boiling.

Arriving at his luxurious residence, Harry walked slowly into his pitch black house. Then, he entered his room without making any sound, took the bathrobe and entered the bathroom quickly to clean himself before his wife woke up.

It didn’t take long to clean the blood stains on his body, Harry walked out of the bathroom while drying his hair with a towel. Just as he stepped on the doorstep, he was greeted by his beloved wife who had a gloomy expression on her face.

"Claudia, what’s wrong with you?" Harry stroked his wife’s soft cheek with his thumb.

"I’m scared, Harry."

Harry spontaneously hugged his wife’s body tightly. "I know you must still be traumatized by seeing your friend almost commit suicide."

"If I had arrived a few seconds late, I would have lost Davina."

"I should be the one apologizing to you because I wasted too much time. "When I heard that Davina was being bullied, I should have immediately ended the lives of those three bastard men."

Claudia shook her head quickly. "No. It’s not your fault. Indeed, those people cannot be forgiven." Claudia raised her head nervously. "You took their lives, right?" ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

"This time they won’t be able to bother Davina anymore. Even in the last seconds before I beat them to the punch, they still didn’t admit their mistake."

For a moment Harry stared at his wife’s injured leg. His eyes immediately widened, he lifted his wife’s body onto the bed and then took the medicine box. He had seen his wife’s leg injured so many times that it made him want to get angry. However, on the one hand, he didn’t have the heart to do it because his wife was too sweet which made him docile.

This time the wound on the leg was quite serious, to the point where the instep was slightly swollen. While treating the abrasions, Harry also massaged his wife’s tiny feet with a worried look.

"I really like that you acted quickly to save Davina’s life. But your leg was seriously injured like this. This must be the result of you running around in heels."

Claudia looked down embarrassed. "Eventually, if I don’t move quickly, Davina will die in front of me."

Harry exhaled resignedly. "You shouldn’t wear heels. If necessary, I’ll buy boots to make it easier for you to run. If you continue like this, your legs will really be destroyed."

"But, I don’t like wearing boots. Like military soldiers who want to go to war." Claudia pursed her lips.

"Then, you can wear other, more comfortable shoes. How many times have your legs been injured!"

"Can you not yell at me? Don’t you feel what I feel right now, still afraid?"

Actually, Claudia faced quite a lot of tests today. First, Davina almost died. Second, Vivian negotiated with her regarding the rare painting that Harry had been looking for. Is now the right time to tell you about the painting that Vivian got?

For a moment, Harry entered the walk-in closet to put on his pajamas. Because he was still not used to showing off his scarred body to his wife. Slowly lay their bodies on the bed, then wrap their bodies with a blanket.

"Claudia, I’m sorry. I won’t scold you anymore."

Claudia shook her head. "It doesn’t matter. The important thing is that Davina’s problem is over."

"But, if you see that your face is very tired from earlier, I’m sure something happened to you today. It’s unusual for you to act so panicked as if you’re doing a lot of things wrong."

"Harry, do you know why I almost forgot about Davina today?"

"So what?"

"Vivian found the painting you were looking for."
