" No. I can worry about it later for now I am too busy with my work. Travelling the world most of the year with only few weeks to spare to wind down. As I said you don’t have to make it complicated, with so many girls around you, I think you wouldn’t even notice if I suddenly vanish from your life." She told him straight on how things would be.
" Fine, but I also have one condition. Just tell me if you find someone else before starting anything. I will not bother you if that were to happen." Samuel thought about it and it seemed a good idea to do few experiments.
He wanted to know whether his powers were causing others to put them in cages that they couldn’t move on properly. With so many weeks apart, he wanted to find out whether Miranda would eventually feel jealous and leave him after some time.
Since they already talked things through, he was sure he could manage it so that he would control his impulses so that she wouldn’t be affected by true extent of his abilities. Beside, she already told it was a no strings attached deal and they could part on amicable terms.
He also knew that she would eventually meet the person she was destined to marry this year. When he was not around her, it might give her the incentive to pursue him rather than to wait for Samuel who would be busy for the next year filming two back to back movies.
It was a cruel plan but he was not the one who suggested such a situation to her, she came up with the plan herself. Maybe with this, he could find if Helga and others would be fine in the long run.
" Don’t worry, I am not that kind of person who would sneak behind your back. Heck, If I had someone like that I wouldn’t be in this situation." She said while chuckling, it was more of a self deprecating laugh than anything else.
Just as Samuel was about to say something, he felt someone approach the gazebo. It was Raphael who stood at the steps looking around whether to disturb his boss or not. He knew about the new guests and also knew they were attractive girls here to see him so he was worried about seeing something he shouldn’t have.
" Come in." He said so that Raphael could hear him out back.
" Young master, I am sorry to disturb you but..."
" It’s fine. What is it?"
" Mr Henri sent me to say that the lunch is ready. You missed breakfast so he urged me to call you for a proper meal."
" What about the others?"
" They didn’t seem to be eager for it. Miss Anastasiya was the only one who doesn’t seemed preoccupied with anything."
" Alright, just send someone and ask them if they like the food to be delivered there. Right, how are it? Did something happened during the night?" He asked.
Raphael looked at Miranda for a second wondering if she too was aware of what happened last night but from her puzzled expression, he knew she didn’t know anything.
" It’s fine. Sooner or later everyone would find out about it beside, it’s not like we are doing something illegal." Samuel waved his hand to say that it was alright.
" Something did happen last night. We found at least ten different people who tried to breach the premises. Two of them were apprehended by Miss Anastasiya’s men while we manage to take down five of them. Rest of them came too close to the wall so your people had to step up."
" Do we know who they were affiliated with? It’s not Nelson’s men right?" Samuel knew the old man wouldn’t be foolish enough to go back on his words so soon. Like a snake he would wait for a perfect opportunity if he wanted to retaliate for what he did to Richard.
" Most of them were from local prominent families, some from underworld organization while few were foreign forces. So far, none of them seemed like they wanted to harm anyone, their orders were to gather information."
" Well, that’s what I expected. You didn’t harm them right?"
" Some were injured when they tried to escape but we didn’t do anything explicit."
" Fine, let them go and give them a stern warning. Lightly hint to them that we don’t know anything and if they want to find more about it they should visit the other party. Keep the matter about us housing those people a secret. There are many high vantage points around the place so place few people at those point so that others wouldn’t be able to see what we are doing here."

" That’s what I want. Since we have already taken care of the truck, all they would see a small gathering of people. We can start some rumors about me training some maids for upkeep, it would throw them off since we are not going all out to hide the information."

Meanwhile Miranda listened to their conversation, she could see the change in Samuel’s demeanor when he dealt with his subordinates. The young man who was embarrassed about her teasing her was nowhere to be seen when he was serious. She could also see how much other party respected him, asking for his input on everything.
She really had a good feeling about her decision, there was just one problem, would Anastasiya be fine when she finds out about it?
