Chapter 599: Chapter 597: Returning to 12 Grimmauld Place

Dumbledore didn’t stay at the Ministry of Magic for long; after saying a few words to Kael, he left, followed by Professor McGonagall.

In the elevator, Mr. Weasley was shooing away paper planes above his head while extending an invitation to Kael.

"How about coming over here?" he whispered. "Everyone is here, and to celebrate your safe return, Molly has prepared a big feast."

"Alright then," Kael said.

Diana previously didn’t let him go elsewhere, likely due to the interrogation this time, but now that everything is over, there’s no more reason to stay in Ottery St Catchpole.

Besides, he certainly can’t stay indoors for two whole months.

Upon seeing Kael agree, Harry appeared very happy or perhaps since finding out he wouldn’t be expelled from Hogwarts, every little thing could make him smile.

As Kael decided to go to No. 12 Grimmauld Place, Chris left alone when the elevator stopped at the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures.

"Have fun," he said cheerfully. "If you decide to stay overnight, be sure to send me an owl in advance."

"Okay, Dad," Kael nodded.

They then arrived at the main hall. There were far fewer people than in the morning, with a wizard burying his face behind the Daily Prophet, seemingly unsure whether he was reading the paper or sleeping.

As they walked past the golden fountain, Harry suddenly turned back. 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

"Wait a moment..."

He pulled out his money bag, without even looking, he dumped all his money into the fountain, causing a series of clinks and clanks.

"I thought about it when I came here," Harry explained after pocketing the now-empty bag. "If I luckily escape trouble, I’ll donate all the money I have."

"By that token, should I donate something too?" Kael walked to the fountain.

He searched his pockets for a bit and finally pulled out a Silver Sickle.

Most of his money was stored in the Niffler’s vault, and he couldn’t access it easily; he only had this left...

But it’s the thought that counts.

Kael tossed the Silver Sickle into the fountain.

Admittedly, the splash was larger than that of a Galleon.

Kael looked up at the words on the fountain.

"All proceeds from the Magic Fountain are donated to St Mungo’s Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries."

"That’s all for today," Kael muttered under his breath, "If all goes well, I’ll make it up next time..."

Afterward, the three of them arrived at the Leaky Cauldron through the fireplace.

Perhaps due to the rarity of the opportunity or with Kael’s presence, Mr. Weasley chose not to use Disillusionment to return but opted for Muggle transport...

Throughout the trip, Mr. Weasley was very excited, exclaiming at every stop, which drew odd looks from others, like they were looking at a group of country bumpkins ignorant of the world.

Truth be told, Mr. Weasley indeed fit that image now, especially with his notably mismatched outfit.

However, for Kael and Harry, the journey was somewhat unbearable.

Although Harry had experienced it once this morning, he still couldn’t help but lower his head, avoiding conversation with Mr. Weasley.

Kael quietly moved to a farther spot, disguising himself as a passerby.

Upon reaching the stop, both of them instinctively sped ahead out of the station, leaving Mr. Weasley behind still calling out to the vending machine.

"I’ve never wanted to learn Disillusionment so badly," Harry muttered. "Fred and George have mastered it; they practically use Disillusionment for every step now."

"Kael, you’ll be learning this charm this year too, right?"

"Yes, we’ll have the option to learn this charm in the sixth year," Kael said.

In fact, he had already mastered it, but this time was just to get the certificate.

When the trio arrived at Grimmauld Place, it was already noon.

Perhaps because it was work time, the place wasn’t crowded. Nevertheless, it was livelier than the last visit.

"Oh, my dear, I knew you all would be fine."

Mrs. Weasley ran over joyfully, embracing Harry and Kael separately.

"Welcome, Kael." Hermione also hurried over, appearing slightly nervous.

"Harry, how did it turn out..."

"Master Kael!"

Before she could finish, a small figure darted from behind, almost knocking her over.

"Welcome, Master Kael," the house-elf Kreacher respectfully said. "Would Master like some cookies? How about raspberry cookies, or do you want some Butter Beer first?"

This action by the elf left everyone wide-eyed.

Especially Ron and Harry, they pinched each other’s thighs in disbelief, thinking they might be dreaming... Otherwise, how could this house-elf suddenly become so hospitable?

They had stayed here for quite a while but never received a kind face from this elf. Other than being respectful to Sirius, the elf had a completely different attitude towards them.

Harry was well aware that Kreacher had muttered behind their backs, being rude and aloof was common practice.

Why now...

Looking at the house-elf’s respectful demeanor, Harry vaguely saw a shadow of Dobby.

"Are you sure this house belongs to Sirius?" Ron muttered. "I somehow feel like Kael is the real owner here."

"I don’t know either," Harry instinctively replied.

He completely understood Ron’s sentiment; in fact, it wasn’t just them, even Mrs. Weasley seemed a bit incredulous.

"No need to be surprised." At this moment, Sirius stepped out from the room.

"Kael helped the Black family a great deal, making Kreacher more respectful to him than to me."

He bypassed the excited house-elf and approached the two, "How did things go, everything okay?"

"Better than ever," Harry said excitedly. "I’m not expelled, the charges are unwarranted!"

"Indeed," Kael said.

"Ha, I knew it all along," Ron jumped up from his spot, "You were definitely going to be fine!"

"Yes, you didn’t do anything wrong, they can’t convict you," Hermione also breathed a sigh of relief, her hands trembling since the beginning.

Despite their words, everyone showed expressions of relief, with Mrs. Weasley wiping her eyes with an apron.

But soon, this atmosphere was disrupted by a sudden explosion.

It was Fred and George; the two suddenly appeared behind Kael, startling everyone.

"Actually, we knew you would be fine all along," Fred said, putting an arm around Kael’s shoulder.

"Indeed, we weren’t worried at all."

"In fact, I think the Ministry of Magic ought to compensate you."

"Well, that’s wishful thinking," Kael said with a laugh, "They wouldn’t even give me a Knut."

"Wait a minute..." Listening to their conversation, Hermione suddenly thought of something, looking at the two in disbelief.

"Are you implying... Did Kael go to the Ministry of Magic for questioning too?"

"Ah, yes," Kael shrugged. "And just like Harry, it was for underage magic usage outside school..."

This left Hermione stunned.

Harry’s violation was understandable; though unintentional, it was indeed his third offense of using magic outside of school.

But such a thing happening to Kael seemed odd; isn’t he residing in a village with many wizards?
