His Witch Queen-Chapter 164: Dominic’s last words!

The words made Alice’s heart skip a beat. A blank mind surfaced altogether and she was numb for the next few seconds. But afterward, when Alice Was pulled out from her daze, she blinked her eyes twice, "N-Not enough time? How can that be true!"

"You are wrong, brother. The priest will treat you. It was simply just a normal illness.."

"It wasn’t. I-It..was..intentionally done to....me.." Dominic answered with a rather slow voice, still not able to overcome the weakness in his body.

Even the paleness was increasing, while he was speaking. There was a doubt that something was up in his body.

As Alice’s mind was still not able to absorb many things too, it was Dominic’s voice that pulled her out from the daze once again, "S-someone...wants..to take my life, Alice..someone..is after me.."

"W-who, brother? Do you know him?" Alice asked quickly when she captured the hint from his tone that he knows the killer.

In response, Dominic slightly shook his head to her, "I-It..is..Ira... it’s her. Sh-she came to me in the night and..gave me..injected me with..something.."

"B-Because of that..I had recovered, Alice. Sh-she is behind all. She..get me..it’s her!" The words weren’t shocking but the fact that Lady Ira went too far with her tactics. ’She is trying to kill Dominic?’ it ruins her mind and makes her go numb.

For minutes, she bites her lower lip, and she breathes deep end, but Dominic didn’t waste even a single moment giving details to Alice before, whatever he has to say, "She is a selfish woman, Alice....she wants to kill everyone! She killed Concubine..she wants to kill her father. You have to save him,...She Is really dangerous."

"What has she given to you?" Alice inquired, to which Dominic said, "I don’t know..I seriously don’t know. *COUGH* She injected it near..my neck. It is so hard to cope.."

"Brother.." Alice took his hand into hers when depressed near her face., It was harder to see her mighty brother in this condition.

"S-soldiers are involved in everything. They are also the criminals of whatever. That is happening. Ira isn’t alone. She has someone..you..need to find it out.." he muttered under his slow breath but both Cyrus and Alice heard it too well

Alice’s heart fell short with the time. Not only that, She heard Dominic’s next words which are the tears finally fall down from the brink of her eyes, "A..Alice..save our Empire..i..its..our motherland...It will be in your hand..Do you understand? You are my brave s-sister. A very courageous sister.."

"No NO! I’m not doing anything without you..Domnic..please..no.." Alice’s sobs were continuous. She can’t understand why he was so confident about leaving her. Why? suddenly, the rage and the anger in the wait of the priest seemed over years.

In response to her question, the young Prince nodded his head, "S-she is the one. Ta-take care of her in my absence. S-she will be devastated. I know..but..please..take care of her..."

"I-I really love her. S-she is the sweetest person I know. Don’t let her do anything because of me..don’t let her come to me after I leave..Alice..promise me that.." Dominic’s voice had started to dwell over and over and it made Alice’s eyes bulge together.

No...nope...her heart rages against her chest. She couldn’t understand what to do next? How should she save her bother? While she was all numb to the circumstances, her brother had held her hand with a much greater grip, He was looking into her eyes with force, trying to not break the eyesight for the moment. There was the trace of a significant plea.
