Alice’s breath was sharply drawn behind her. The shocked eyes weren’t invaded by Shane’s eyes but he knew that this was all due to the past outcomes. "This isn’t the first time Princess. Young Prince wanted to let you know so he requested His highness that you should be well informed with the affairs of the Kingdom too."

"I understand that," Alice replied with a reluctant gaze.

Then, the General had handed over the letter to the lady, which she immediately opened by removing the ribbon and then reading the content of the inside as her heart skipped a beat.

It was directly mentioned that Ava Fedrick had died in her own sleep. And the entire Royal lastly is moaning for her state.

However, it was moreover, Second Man Daniel had been throwing tantrums here and there. ’Why is this not new?’ In her eyes, she had already expected something like this.

Yet her mind remembered Ava Frederick’s face, to recall the time when she had even warned her about the people wanting her death.

Sensing Shane’s eyes lingering on her, Alice changes her expression to express her sorrow. "I’m deeply saddened by this news. But how come the lady died when was peacefully sleeping in her own chamber?"

"We have no idea, Princess. All that is announced is that God must have called her sooner since she was a kind lady. Otherwise, there was no evidence of her struggling either." Shane’s explanation was hardly brought by Alice.

’Hah! So every woman that Second Man Daniel gets pregnant, is actually called by God intentionally? What a joke!’ A scoff was left from Alice’s lips at such a useless realization.

Yet no one would believe that this was the doing of one and the only lady who is actually controlling everything.

Blinking her eyes twice, Alice can’t help but mutter, "So how are Mrs. Ira and Flora then?"

"They are good. Princess Flora is said to be married very soon too. However, no one actually pointed out the second Man Daniel, princess." Shane had changed his tone for the latter, which also gained Alice’s attention.

She knew that he was trying to give her the details, in the double-meaning words. "What is there to tell, Shane? Tell me."

"Princess, I’m not in the position you tell. I’m the general and the Kingdom too.."

"But right now, you aren’t in your Kingdom. And if the Princess of the Empire is asking, I think General Shane should obey the rules and tell me the truth too." Alice had used the card of her title since there was no way left for her to get what she wanted.,

Since General Shane was actually taking care of his own title, then she was the Princess of the Suzania Kingdom.

There was no way that he could even deny her.

Initially, General Shane didn’t lift his eyes. His grip only tightened around the sword that hand near his waist as the hesitation ruled under his skin.

But then, lifting his eyes, general Shane looked at the lady with the little unshaken in his eyes, "After Princess Flora had been found, it was expected that after some struggle, she might blurt the name of Second man Daniel since it was his doing."

"Even though His Highness gave her the opportunity. Unfortunately, Princess Flora chose to hide the name and took the blame on her, Princess. It was very disheartening to see the culprit not being given the punishment for their actions and because of them you were married...."

General Shane too had hardly believed when he had seen the result of the marriage.

The princess was advised to be kept away from everyone’s eyes. Especially vampires..

However, destiny played a game with them and in the end, Princess Alice was met with the Crowned prince Cyrus instead of Princess Flora.

Whereas, Alice had stayed quiet while observing the nervousness in general Shane’s actions. However, her mind worked well to get the hint that Princess Flora had once again ended up saving her father. ’She is seriously vulnerable.’

’Not only did her parents put her under his conditions but she has ended up saving them..’ and all Alice felt was sympathy for her cousin.

"General Shane, I understand your concern. Please don’t be upset. I will see what else I can do. And send my regards to His Highness and brother.."

"I will do as you asked me to do, Princess. But please, do take care of yourself. I’m sure that your stay here won’t have been such a good one but please.." General Shane’s genuine words touched Alice’s heart.

She passed him a strong smile, as a way of bidding him goodbye and being grateful for him to travel such a long distance, only to convey about the situation in her own Empire.

In Front of her eyes, Alice stood at her own pace while she watched the back of general Shane leaving. Until his sillutehouse left her sight, did Alice take a deep breath to let her nerves be calmed down?

’This is big. Everything is messed up behind my back there...’And the biggest disadvantage in her hands was her absence there.

Knowing lady Ira too well, she wouldn’t be surprised if that lady is planning her next trick on her father and brother. The thought only caused her eyes to turn aloof again.

In contrast to Princess Alice, it was Prince Cyrus who stood above the lower land where ALICE had conversed and met with general Shane.

He was standing on the small balcony of the castle, which gave him a direct view of the Princess and the general. His eyes caught sight when the General handed over the letter to his wife.

"He is from her kingdom." A husky field voice entered Cyrus’s ears. Looking from the corner of his shoulder, he saw that it was his own undercover soldier, "What is his name?"

"General Shane as far as I heard. I saw him in No Man’s land too." The other soldier answered, who had a big scar on his cheek. The soldier appeared dark, with a messy and rough look plastered on his appearance. "Probably, the King of the Suzania Kingdom has sent him."

"I also think so, Drake. But I have the intuition that he isn’t simply there to know about her well-being.."

"Why do you think so, Prince Cyrus?" Drake inquired, as his eyes turned to look at his Prince.

There, he noticed that his prince’s hands were curled into a fist, and his eyes were entirely focused on the people down, "I believe, you...."

"I can sense her sorrow." was all that Cyrus answered, which made Drake’s eyes wide.

Yet sooner, he covered them too, with the normal glint to not appear extremely cautious either. "You both have made a bond already?"

"This is an automatic bond," Cyrus told honestly.

There were the tales he read but he had least expected that the bond would be made without mating. It wasn’t done in the histories too, and something like this had actually taken place with him, which blew his mind. But there was no sense of easiness.

Knowing her feelings was rather exciting than before. Moreover, the expressions he saw, Cyrus had immediately an idea that Alice was tense and the news delivered by others wasn’t a good one.

But Drake had more doubts to ask, "Prince, you need to be careful too. this Princess..isn’t ordinary. She has powers."

"She can destroy you too..."

"No one can destroy me until I allow them to do so. If destiny has written about me getting destroyed by my wife, let it happen.."
