Chapter 89: Tantrum

Massimo woke up from his sleep when the sunlight that came through the curtains hit his eyes, who knows how long Massimo had been on his bed. Whereas last night he was enjoying his liquor in the study accompanied by two of his personal servants.

With a little laziness Massimo sat down and leaned against the head of the couch, trying to collect the life that had not yet fully returned. Slowly Massimo’s consciousness returned, the man managed to remember one by one the events that annoyed him last night.

"Gina..." Massimo mumbled unconsciously, somehow he suddenly mentioned Gina’s name when he just woke up.

Without thinking Massimo immediately got out of bed and walked to the small table in his room to drink water, one of Massimo’s habits every waking up was to drink two glasses of water to restore the body fluids he lost during sleep. Moreover, last night he drank a lot of alcohol, that’s why this morning Massimo drank more water than usual.

With unsteady steps Massimo walked towards the balcony of his room which was still tightly closed with a large and heavy curtain, in one flick Massimo managed to open the curtain of his room and opened the balcony door. Looks like Massimo really woke up very late today, as evidenced when he came out on the balcony the sun was very high and his skin was scorching hot. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

Massimo, who was always shirtless when he slept, finally went back into the room, because he felt uncomfortable with the scorching sun. Massimo also decided to soak in the bathtub, but his intention had to be canceled because his smart phone which was on the nightstand vibrated.

Martin’s name clearly appeared on the screen as Massimo reached for his cell phone.

"Hello..."

"Good afternoon, sir. Thank goodness you’re awake."

Massimo raised one eyebrow. "Afternoon, what time is it?"

"Nearly one o’clock, sir." Martin answered very politely and was careful not to offend Massimo.

"Damn! Why didn’t you wake me up this morning, Martin?!"

In the living room, Martin immediately put the phone away from his ear when he heard Massimo’s loud scream. Just about to answer the words of the master, Martin was surprised by the disconnection of their phone because Massimo seemed to have disconnected their phone. It seemed his decision to let the master sleep until noon was the wrong one.

An hour later Massimo was back handsome and charming in all black clothes out of his room which was on the third floor, a floor where only certain people could access it. Even the personal maids couldn’t go up to the area, the beauties were only allowed to be on the second floor.

As soon as Massimo arrived in the dining room the servants immediately bowed their heads, saluting without being ordered to.

"You know what you did wrong today, Martin?" Massimo asked suddenly as he sat down in a chair.

Martin immediately raised his previously downcast face. "No, sir."

"You’ve been with me for so long, Martin. Then how come you can still make mistakes like this?"

Martin swallowed quickly. "Before you get angry I have some good news which is likely to please you, sir."

Massimo, who was almost drinking, immediately put his glass back on the table. "What news?"

"Three of my men who are guarding the front of the Sanders house tell me that Miss Gina was only seen back this morning when she was exercising on her bicycle, sir."

"Just seen this morning? Then how about last night, did they manage to find out where Gina went?" asked Massimo curiously.

"According to the additional information I got, it turns out that last night Miss Gina returned to her apartment, sir."

Massimo’s jaw hardened. "Do you know the address of the apartment?"

"Not yet sir."

"Then how did you know that last night Gina went to her apartment?"

Martin then explained in detail the report he got from his men who were still on guard at the front with the Sanders family, Massimo nodded his head slowly as Martina spoke. He seems to have calmed down a bit now.

Since his curiosity had been answered, Massimo finally enjoyed his lunch in peace. From where he was standing now Martin was sure he could see Massimo smile a few times. Looks like the master’s mood is much better now.

When Massimo had just finished wiping his lips with a handkerchief from the second floor, there was the sound of laughter from several of Massimo’s personal maids who were shouting at each other, the beautiful women were apparently enjoying a home treatment from one of the best salons in Barcelona.

"How many women live in this castle, Martin?" asked Massimo dryly.

"Six people, sir."

"Get them all out, I don’t want those women living with me anymore," Massimo said quietly without guilt.

"Take them out? Do you intend to take Miss Gina to-"

Martin’s words were cut short because he suddenly felt Massimo looking at him.

"I don’t like you talking too much, Martin. Just do what I say, provide adequate facilities for them. If I need their services, then they will be picked up by one of my men. For sure right now I don’t want to share the same roof with women.."

"Yes sir."

Just as Massimo’s mood improved, suddenly his eyes widened again.

"The Sanders, have you sent anyone to that house to give them a warning?" Massimo asked again, his voice rising two octaves.

"Yes sir," replied Martin confidently, it was very clear on his face that he was smiling at the moment

"So how did it go?"

Martin spoke at length, telling how shocked Julian and Yohane Sanders were when they came back to the house. All the plans that Massimo had prepared went well, after officially appearing before the Sanders family last night this morning another surprise that Massimo gave to the family went smoothly.

"Yohanes’s face was even as pale as a vampire when he knew he had to give us half the profits from the local government of his hotels, sir," Martin said quietly closing his words with a smile.

Massimo raised one eyebrow. "Why are you so good at telling me everything, Martin?"

"That’s because I just came back from the Sanders house with three bodyguards to carry out your orders, sir."

"You went to their house without waiting for me, Martin?!" Massimo shouted loudly.

"Yes, sir. Didn’t you order us to come to them immediately this morning, did you?"

Massimo immediately touched the nape of the neck and massaged it slowly even though it didn’t hurt, Martin really annoyed him today. He did everything without waiting for him to wake up, went to the Sanders’ house and met Gina without him. Damn it!

Without a word Massimo got up from his chair and walked briskly towards the exit. "I’m cutting your salary in half this month, Martin," he said loudly as he came out of the living room.

"Master..."

"The salaries of all of you who dare to go without me today, I’ll cut everything in half!!" Massimo’s voice came again loudly from the direction of the main door.
