Chapter 81: The devil is back

Gina had just returned from the beach when she saw her stepmother sitting on the living room floor with her two daughters Selena and Rosa, she faintly heard her grandfather angry at her stepmother for being thought to be still defending Diego who had clearly made a mistake. Gina unconsciously squeezed Marco’s hand who was still standing beside her.

"You’d better enter your room quietly, you don’t want to be the next target of your grandfather’s anger, do you?" Marco whispered quietly.

Gina shook her head. "Of course I don’t want to."

"Yes, go to your room."

"But where’s Marco through?"

"By the emergency stairs."

"Eh?"

Marco smiled broadly, the next second the man had grabbed Gina’s hand and led her out of the house walking towards the trees that were right next to the house.

"Trees? Does my grandfather’s house also have a tree house?"

Tuk

Marco hit Gina’s head with his middle finger.

"Ouch...it hurts!! why did you hit my head!!!"

"That’s so you can think straight, you stupid girl," Marco said curtly. "Take a closer, look."

Gina, who was holding her head which hurt from Marco’s touch, soon looked around, tried to look around and smiled faintly when she saw a ladder leaning against a tree.

"Use the stairs to go up to your room," Marco said again.

"Is that all right? I’m not sure if—"

"I’ll be keeping watch downstairs, calm down." Marco interrupted Gina’s words again quickly.

Gina took a deep breath, before slowly starting to climb the stairs to her room with Marco standing guard below. Luckily Gina is not a girl who likes women’s clothes in general so when she was asked to go up stairs like this Gina did not think twice.

After struggling for almost two minutes Gina finally arrived at the balcony of her room and when she was about to enter her room, Gina was suddenly surprised by Marco who was climbing the stairs.

"You.. why did you come up?!" Gina growled annoyed.

Marco, who had just set foot on the balcony of Gina’s room, smiled. "I have to make sure you arrive safely first."

"What is? Don’t overdo it, you think I’m a kid?"

Marco brought his face closer to Gina suddenly. "You may not be a child, but you are a stupid girl, Gina."

The heat from Marco’s breath landed on Gina’s ears and made her flutter, damn! What is this feeling? Gina immediately froze and could not speak.

After saying that Marco then went back down the stairs after saying goodnight to Gina in british accent, Gina still standing where she was. Staring at Marco who had arrived downstairs, even when Marco waved and asked him to come into the room Gina still didn’t budge.

What kind of magic is this?

Gina finally entered her room when Marco was out of sight, today was a really memorable day for Gina. Marco turned out to be very pleasant, despite his pretentious nature. Because it was getting late, Gina finally went into her room and locked the door on the balcony from the inside before finally rushing to the bathroom.

When passing through the large glass in the bathroom, Gina stopped because she looked at the crescent-shaped pendant that hung beautifully around her neck.

"Calm down in heaven, ma’am. Right now I’m very happy," said Gina softly, smiling.

It’s too early to say happy, but for Gina everything she got right now was more than enough. Having a grandmother who cares and loves her, has a clear status in the Sanders and Marco her new friend.

Gina immediately shook her head when Marco’s name suddenly came to mind.

"No, Marco is a friend nothing more than that, you have to remember that, Gina," Gina said quietly to herself trying to calm the pounding in her chest that was racing so fast at the moment.

Gina immediately took off all her clothes and stood under the shower to clean her body, when she looked down Gina smiled seeing the remnants of sand still left on her feet. Memories of the fun things that had just happened on the beach this afternoon were replaying in her brain memory, it seemed that now Marco had his own space in her heart without Gina knowing it.

Meanwhile on the first floor by now everyone had returned to their respective rooms except Vanessa and her two daughters who were still hugging each other on the floor, Selena and Rosa cried because they panicked at the words of their grandfather who threatened to get them both married to Massimo del Cano as soon as possible. Reminded again of the unwanted marriage, Selena immediately became hysterical, the girl panicked and cried uncontrollably until finally Vanessa had to calm her down. Because she couldn’t bear to see her sister cry, Rosa got up and defended her sister. However, because she was still small and could not fight her grandfather, Rosa finally bowed and kneeled on the floor with her mother and sister.

"Don’t worry, none of you will marry that old man. Mommy swears, as long as Mommy is alive, Mommy will make sure it won’t happen," Vanessa said hoarsely between her tears.

"Yes Mom, I still want to pursue my dreams, Mom," said Rosa quickly.

Vanessa nodded slowly. "Yes honey, Mommy knows. You don’t have to worry."

Rosa’s cries grew louder when she heard her mother’s words.

"I’m fed up, Mom. Every time Grandpa gets angry he always talks about that nonsense agreement, I really can’t stand it. We’d better go, Mom. We just live with Diego," Selena said quietly.

Vanessa, who was stroking Rosa’s head, immediately turned to Selena and immediately gripped her hands tightly. "Don’t be stupid, Selena. Do you really want all of this family property to go to this illegitimate child whose status has been recognized? You want to make your sister lose all her rights? Are you ready to live on the street when your step sister becomes the only heir to this family? ?"

"Gina," Selena growled with emotion.

"Yes, that girl has now succeeded in shifting Diego’s position. Can you imagine what will happen if you leave this house too? That’s why you must stay in this house forever to get your rights," Vanessa said again.

Selena’s expression darkened even more. "No Mom, I won’t let that happen."

"Yes Mom, I will not stay silent either. I will not let him take my inheritance," added Rosa quickly.

Vanessa smiled at the words of her two daughters. "Ok, then you both promise Mommy never to fight Mommy again. Everything Mommy does is for the good of both of you, so please cooperate. Don’t be angry with Mommy again if you see Mommy is kind to the girl, everything to Mommy just to win her heart while looking for a way to bring her down."

"Yes Mom, we’re sorry. I’m sorry."

Vanessa wiped her tears, she then hugged her two daughters back with her eyes fixed on Gina’s room. "I swear these tears are the last tears I will shed, next it’s your turn little bitch."

In her mother’s arms Selena swore she would do the math on Gina. "I swear I won’t let you live in peace, Gina. You’ll see, I’ll make sure you regret coming into this house." Selena curses and blames Gina for all the misfortune that has happened to her since Gina lived with them.

Meanwhile in the backyard Marco was standing in front of the two maids who had made it into Yohanes Sanders’ study earlier this afternoon.

"This is the document you asked for, sir," said one of the servants politely as he handed over the document he had taken from the safe.

Marco reached out his hand to accept the document his men had taken, his smile widening when he looked back at the agreement his grandfather made with Yohanes Sanders decades ago. A paper that is very sacred to his clan because on that paper the grandfather put his blood as a substitute for a signature, for a clan such a letter is very powerful especially if it is the clan founder who has affixed his blood stamp. That’s why Marco is desperately trying to get him back for destruction so that John Sanders can’t pressure him anymore to protect his family.

"So are you leaving this house soon, sir?"

Marco moistened his pink lips with his tongue. "Of course, I’ve had enough of this disguise. It’s about time everyone in this house knows who I really am."

As his goal was achieved, Marco slowly rolled up his sleeves to his elbows which finally showed the rows of tattoos that were still left on his body after he removed some of the tattoos on the back of his hands to carry out this mission. When Marco had the letter of agreement in his pocket his cell phone rang, clearly Martin’s name appeared on the screen of his cell phone at this time. Apparently now Martin was waiting for him in front of the Sanders house with the rest of his men, who were ready to take him home.

"Welcome back, Mr. Massimo," Martin said quietly, bowing his head as Marco left the Sanders house.
