His soul-Chapter 57: First teror

Gina, who had been helped by the maid to take a shower and get ready, seemed to have just joined everyone sitting at the dining table, of course still with her eyes closed. As soon as Gina walked out of her room, Barbara immediately prepared a chair for Gina to sit beside her. Both Selena, Rosa, Diego and his fiancé Kiara were very surprised when they saw the figure of Gina whose eyes were closed.

Meanwhile, Vanessa, who had been informed of Gina’s condition earlier, immediately approached the girl and hugged her from behind.

"Who?"

"This is Mommy, baby, I know it might be difficult for you to call me by that title. But I want you.."

"I only have one mother and don’t worry I won’t take anyone in this house." Gina firmly cut Vanessa’s words.

Vanessa’s face instantly stiffened when she heard Gina’s harsh words, fortunately she managed to regain control of herself. "Vanessa, let your daughter eat in peace. Sit beside her, help her to eat," said Barbara softly as she touched Vanessa’s waist.

Vanessa immediately released her arms from Gina and turned to her mother-in-law. "Can I help her eat, Mom?"

"Sure."

Like winning the lottery, Vanessa’s eyes widened when she heard her mother-in-law’s words, without speaking she sat beside Gina and helped her eat. Although at first Gina refused a bribe from Vanessa, but after a while she finally relented, because Gina’s stomach was very hungry. Seeing Vanessa treat Gina well made Julian’s heart warm, as well as Barbara who didn’t touch her food at all to see what Vanessa was doing.

Selena and Rosa couldn’t help but watch their mother treat Gina well as well as Diego. He who was in front of Gina seemed to occasionally steal glances at her, it seemed that Diego was tempted by Gina’s beauty. Even though at this time there was a bandage covering Gina’s eyes but her beauty did not disappear, she actually looked much more charming in that state. Her sharp nose, thin lips and smooth cheeks with loose copper-black hair made Gina look like a Greek goddess.

Gina’s existence really became the center of attention of the Sanders family, a situation that Gina really didn’t expect. After 30 minutes their dinner was over, one by one they started to leave the dining table to go to the family room as usual and Gina was invited to follow the Sanders family habits.

"What happened to the witch’s eyes?" The fearless Rosa suddenly asked Gina to break the silence.

"Rosa!" Julian growled warningly.

Rosa shrugged. "Well, where did I go wrong? Wasn’t he the one who said that his green eyes were the eyes of a wizard."

Barbara who sat near Rosa then stroked the girl’s shoulder hair gently. "Your sister is injured, both her eyes are quite irritated. Therefore, for the next few days she must rest her eyes so that the treatment goes well."

"Tsk, severe eye irritation. Come on, don’t overdo it Grandma," Selena said curtly while enjoying her favorite grape.

"Gina is experiencing severe irritation due to being too exposed to dirty dust when she is looking for work on the streets of Barcelona." Julian firmly told Gina’s condition to his two daughters who had been mocking Gina.

Selena, who couldn’t believe her father’s words, immediately rolled her eyes, as usual when she was upset. Likewise with Rosa, the two girls seem to really dislike Gina. From the way they saw it, it was already full of hatred.

When everyone was watching Gina who was currently the center of attention suddenly, unexpectedly, Selena, who had just returned from the dining table with a glass filled with chocolate milk, lost her balance and the milk she was carrying hit Gina’s entire body who couldn’t avoid it, starting to from the chest to the skirt that Gina was wearing was now wet with the milk that Selena had spilled walking behind her.

"Selena!!"

Selena who had fallen on the floor immediately turned to her father who looked very angry. "I accidentally Daddy, I stepped on the hem of my own dress until it fell off. Just look at my leg hurt because it hit the end of the chair, Daddy." Selena whined showing her slightly red legs.

Julian did not ignore Selena, he preferred to join his mother and wife who were already busy with Gina who was already soaking wet and sticky with milk. The guest room was quiet again, just being alone with the grandmother in the room so that Gina could clearly hear the sound of the clock ticking not far from her.

"How do you have to forgive us, Gina?" Barbara spoke again.

"Give me back my mother’s happiness that you took away," Gina replied curtly.

Barbara gave a small shriek in surprise. "But honey, your mother already..."

"If you can’t, then fine, I’m not forcing you. For 19 years your mother tortured her mind and you easily asked me to forgive you? Tsk, even purse thieves in the market have to feel a prison cell the cold one before finally being released, right?"

Hearing Gina’s words made the tears that Barbara had been holding back for a while, dripping down her face, without speaking the old woman finally left Gina alone in front of the dressing table. Luckily Gina was fully clothed at this time so she didn’t need anyone’s help to dress again, because sleepiness was starting to come, Gina decided to immediately go to bed. But just as she got up from her chair, Gina’s steps stopped, she could feel someone else breathing in the room besides her.

"Who are you?" Gina’s tone was cold with her voice rising as she spoke.
