His soul-Chapter 539: Fighting again

Because the wound on Massimo’s chest was open again, Thomas was forced to inject sleeping pills into Massimo secretly through an IV that was attached to his uninjured hand. Thomas deliberately wanted to put Massimo to sleep so that the stitches he had just renewed wouldn’t open again.

Seeing Massimo sleeping, Martin let out a long sigh, tonight has really been such a shocking night. Julian Sanders, who they thought was a stupid man, actually kept his real face tightly. Tonight Julian had shown his true nature to Massimo and all his men.

"What the hell is going on, Martin? How come the stitches I made earlier open up again?" Thomas asked curtly at Martin who was still standing beside the door with his arms crossed over his chest.

Martin took a deep breath. "What happened tonight was totally unexpected, Thom. Julian Sanders we thought was stupid was so devious, he even knows that Mr. Massimo has already annuled his divorce."

Thomas pursed his lips. "A quiet person’s anger is far more dangerous, Martin."

"Huh, what do you mean?"

"I’m sure Julian Sanders has been silent all this time not without reason, he must have other reasons that made him choose to remain silent without doing anything until finally this time he broke all the walls of his patience and showed his true face in front of you," Thomas said quietly.

Martin was just silent hearing Thomas’s words, his intelligent brain trying to digest the sentence that Thomas just said.

"Wait, is Julian Sanders the one responsible for the chest wound opening, sir?"

Martin nodded his head slowly. "Yes, Julian had deliberately grabbed Mr Massimo’s chest many times with force. There was not the slightest trace of regret on his face when he saw Master finally fall because he couldn’t stand the pain." Martin’s voice trembled slightly as he spoke.

"The anger of a father who sees his daughter injured so many times is scary, isn’t it?" Thomas said quietly, smiling at Martin who looked angry.

"Whose side are you really on?" Martin asked, annoyed. "Since not defending him, it’s clear that Julian Sanders caused the wound on Master’s chest to open again. Then why do you keep praising him like that, huh!"

"I’m not praising Julian Sanders, I’m just telling you that it’s not always the silent person who doesn’t have any plans. It could be that he is silent because he is looking for opportunities and loopholes to destroy his enemy just like what Julian Sanders did tonight to Master, I’m sure Julian must have been planning everything for today a long time ago."

Martin who intended to scold Thomas again immediately canceled his intention, the sentence Thomas had just said bothered him.

"My advice at this time is to help Master to relent, there’s nothing wrong at this time Master humbles himself in front of Julian Sanders," said Thomas again seriously. Julian, who couldn’t wait to see Diego’s investigation process, decided to immediately go to the main police station in Barcelona even though he only slept for 2 hours. Getting a report from one of the police officers who handled Diego this morning made Julian curious and wanted to come straight to the police station.

All the way to the police station, Julian continued to engage in serious conversation with Charlie who discussed Diego’s cheats that he had discovered last night. As soon as Diego was brought to the police station, last night Charlie immediately ordered several financial staff at The Paradise Group to trace Diego’s financial transactions in the past month.

"Looks like he really inherited Vanessa’s bad character," said Julian quietly. "That woman has really passed on her evil qualities to Diego."

Martin, who was driving the car nodded slowly. "But you should be grateful for that, sir."

"Grateful for Diego’s crimes?"

"Grateful for Vanessa’s evil nature which only decreases to Diego, because if Miss Rosa and Miss Selena inherit evil traits too then everything will definitely be much more chaotic than this, sir," Martin said smoothly without reducing the speed of his car.

Julian nodded slowly. "Yeah you’re right, lucky my two daughters didn’t inherit her mother’s bad qualities. I can’t imagine what would happen to my life if Rosa and Selena followed Diego’s greedy trail."

"That’s why you should be grateful, sir. God didn’t really leave you, God is still taking care of you by taking good care of Miss Rosa and Miss Selena."

Julian didn’t respond to Martin’s words again, his attention was focused on Rosa and Selena who he had left at home yesterday when he took Gina away to the hotel. Worried about the fate of his two daughters, Julian then ordered his men to take Rosa and Selena to the hotel where Gina is currently.

Since they had arrived at the police station, Julian hurriedly put his cell phone in his shirt pocket. He didn’t want to be bothered by anyone today. Julian really wanted to focus on Diego, he wanted his stepson to get what he deserved for all the crimes he had committed over the years.

Their arrival was shaken and welcomed by the police who were waiting for them, but when they were about to go inside suddenly a senior police officer blocked their steps.

"What is this?" asked the policeman beside Julian curtly.

"Mr. Julian Sanders is prohibited from entering to meet the suspect," the senior police officer answered quickly.

Julian shrugged his shoulders. "I’m not allowed in to see Diego, who forbids me to see him?"

"Massimo del Cano." A police officer who had just left answered Julian’s question emphatically.

"Massimo? Why can he forbid me from seeing Diego? Diego is the one who planned the murder of my parents five years ago and as the son of his sadistic victim I have the right to see and witness the investigation process," said Julian firmly, knowing that Massimo was looking for trouble again, made Julian’s chest feel hot with anger.

"Because Mr. Massimo as the person who reported Diego in the first place forbade anyone from interfering with the investigation process, even you. So please cooperate, leave this place so that we can continue the investigation process according to the agenda that has been made," said the police officer again, strictly.

Julian’s face reddened when he heard the words of the police officer who had just spoken, being forbidden to participate in seeing Diego’s investigation process made his emotions burn again.

"Massimo, that damn mafia is challenging me again," said Julian full of emotion.

Charlie, who had been silent all this time, immediately touched Julian’s arm, warning him. "Take care of your heart, sir. Don’t get carried away with emotion, this is an inducement from Massimo."

"Yeah you’re right, this is a lure that Massimo made. Looks like the damn mafia wants to get back at me for what I did last night."

Charlie immediately grabbed Julian’s arm tightly. "W..what do you mean, sir?"

"Last night Massimo came to the hotel, he managed to find the place where I took Gina. That’s why last night he came to see me, forced me to hand Gina over to him," replied Julian in a trembling voice.

"What? Massimo came to you? Massimo’s wound is quite dangerous, sir. The bullet that Diego used really damaged Massimo’s body, the laceration of the bullet was so rough that it must have left an excruciating pain if Massimo came to you."

Julian pursed his lips at Charlie’s words. "But he actually had that much power to come at me, Martin. He even dared to threaten me openly."

"Threatening you, on what basis did he threaten you, sir?"

Julian refreshed his slightly messy hair. "I said I wanted to set Gina to someone else, with someone who was far more deserving of all the sincerity and love that Gina had."

"Oh Jesus...you are very brave, sir." Charlie spoke with his hand over his mouth.

Julian chuckled. "I enjoyed all the panic on Massimo’s face last night, Charlie. I really enjoyed seeing him in so much pain when he heard about my plan to set Gina to someone else."

Charlie shook his head quickly. "No sir, you can’t do that to him. Please don’t put yourself in danger, Massimo is a dangerous man, sir. He won’t hesitate to kill people."

"I know Massimo is that cruel, but I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t dare touch me. He wouldn’t have dared to kill the father of the woman he loved so much," said Julian quietly, confidently.

Gina, who just slept when the sun was about to rise, woke up very late today. After going through an unexpected event last night Gina couldn’t sleep well.

"Ugh, my stomach hurts so bad." Gina immediately held her stomach which suddenly felt so sick, not like usual.

Because the pain in her stomach did not go away, Gina finally canceled her intention to get out of bed. With her hands still on her stomach, Gina tried to lie back down. But when she shifted her body, suddenly Gina felt something was wrong, without thinking Gina immediately removed the thick blanket that wrapped her lower body.

"No!!!"
