His soul-Chapter 492: Domino effect
It had been almost three hours since Gina had entered the office of Doctor Dorothea, the best psychiatrist in Barcelona. Actually, it wasn’t easy to schedule an appointment with doctor Dorothea considering how busy the mental health doctor’s schedule was, but because Rosa had the help of her professor on campus, they were able to schedule an appointment with the Spanish-American doctor in a short time.
"What’s that doctor doing in there, Rosa? What’s taking so long."
"Actually what method did the doctor use at this time? Why didn’t they come out?"
"Rosaa...
"Daddy." Selena cut Julian off gently. "Doctor Dorothea is a professional psychiatrist, she certainly has a special way of treating patients like Gina. That’s why she took so long."
Julian narrowed his eyes intently at Selena who had just spoken. "Are you sure she’s a professional psychiatrist?"
"Daddy." This time it was Rosa who spoke. One of my lecturers on campus, the name of doctor Dorothea is very well known. To become a psychiatrist is not easy, they have to go through a complicated education to get a degree as a psychiatrist. So Daddy don’t worry, just trust what Doctor Dorothea is doing in there. She’s trying to heal Gina’s wounds, Dad."
Julian bowed his head at Rosa’s words, although he had agreed to take Gina to see a psychiatrist but Julian still had a hard time letting Gina talk to strangers alone.
Diego, who had been an avid listener slowly leaned his hand against hers. Julian’s shoulder. "What Rosa said is right, Dad. Let’s just wait for the doctor to finish her work."
"Okay, we’ll wait for the doctor to finish examining Gina," said Julian quietly, after the three children asked him to be patient, finally Julian relented and followed their advice to be patient a little longer to wait. Gina finished being examined.
When Julian had calmed down, suddenly the door to Doctor Dorothea’s office was opened from the inside, Rosa who saw it for the first time went straight to Doctor Dorothea who had just stepped out of her practice room.
"What about my sister, doc?" Rosa immediately asked doctor Dorothea a question.
Julian, Selena and Diego who were surprised to see doctor Dorothea who suddenly came out of her room were silent for a while before they finally realized and joined Rosa around doctor Dorothea.
As a professional psychiatrist, Doctor Dorothea only smiled slightly when she was suddenly surrounded by the patient’s family.
"Doctor...
"You are the patient’s father?" Doctor Dorothea interrupted Julian’s words.
Julian enthusiastically nodded his head. "Yes, I am Georgina’s father whom you just examined."
Doctor Dorothea’s lips thinned, smiling meaningfully at Julian. "So you are the one. "
"Eh?"
"W-what do you mean, doc?" Diego scolded full of emotion, he didn’t like Doctor Dorothea’s impolite attitude.
"What’s wrong doc? What’s the matter?" Rosa asked quietly, she had a bad feeling about what Doctor Dorothea had said earlier.
Doctor Dorothea smiled again. "Gina, that girl has a big trauma with separation. Die had a very big wound inside her, a wound that she had kept to herself for so long. A wound caused by someone who was supposed to be her first love."
Rosa frowned, looking confused.
"Speak clearly, doc. Don’t go round and round, just go straight to the point," Diego said curtly.
Doctor Dorothea turned her gaze to Julian, it was clear that Doctor Dorothea was currently thinking about something. Until finally Doctor Dorothea’s lips slowly moved and said, "The person who should be responsible for the wound that is inside Gina is you, Mr. Sanders."
"Me?" shouted Julian in surprise.
"Don’t talk carelessly, how could our father hurt Gina," Diego said loudly. "If you really can’t handle Gina moredon’t talk like that."
"Diego," Selena whispered hoarsely. "Watch your attitude."
"W-what do you mean, doc? Does this have anything to do with Gina’s past?" Rosa asked quietly.
Doctor Dorothea’s eyes behind her glasses sparkled at Rosa’s question. "That’s right, what is happening to Gina right now is a domino effect of all her dark stories in the past. . A girl who never felt her father’s love until she grew up, a girl who was constantly teased by her schoolmates for not having a father, a girl who saw her mother struggling alone to raise her for years. Do you think that under all these circumstances she will still be okay?"
Julian’s phonecell fell to the floor, he didn’t expect to hear such horrible words from the middle-aged doctor standing in front of him.
"Gina, she has a very big wound and disappointment in her biological father who has abandoned her. Even though you have given her love now, but the bad memory of nineteen years when she struggled with her mother is not that easy to erase. A father is the first love for his daughter and Gina never found that figure until she lost her mother. Can you imagine how broken Gina’s heart was at that time? When she lost her mother forever, she had to find a father figure who had been making wounds inside her. It’s amazing that Gina has survived through all of that so far, because believe me what Gina went through at that time was not an easy thing," said Doctor Dorothea again, even though she knew that her words would hurt Julian Sanders but Doctor Dorothea chose to keep telling Julian everything. so that Julian knows that he is also part of the suffering that Gina is going through right now.
Diego, who was already very angry with Doctor Dorothea, immediately locked his lips tightly, doctor Dorothea words really touched the deepest side of his soul. A side that no one has ever touched.
"The suffering that her mother endured over the years made Gina now reflect on that to herself." Doctor Dorothea continued her words in a soft voice, trying to hide her sadness.
"R-reflecting on herself? W-what do you mean, doc?" Selena asked stuttering.
"Gina imagines that her fate will end the same as her mother," answered the doctor Dorothea hoarsely, holding back emotion as she recalled Gina’s words a moment ago. "Gina’s trauma and fear of separation from her parents made Gina afraid that she would have to experience the same thing as her mother and now that she had received this kind of treatment from her husband, her subconscious, directly led Gina into her still wet wound, experiencing the same thing as her mother who was abandoned by her husband when she was pregnant. Gina is in a very unstable state right now. That’s why sometimes she can cry in her sleep like Rosa said before."
Julian didn’t open his lips to hear Doctor Dorothea’s long explanation, he was still in shock when he found out that Gina had not been doing well all this time.the
"So what should we do, doc?" asked Rosa in a trembling voice.
"At this time Gina needs the support of those closest to her. We have to move fast, otherwise she will lose the baby. And if that happens then I don’t know what will happen to Gina, I really don’t dare to imagine that," answered Doctor Dorothea seriously.
Surprisingly Diego suddenly grabbed both of Doctor Dorothea’s hands with teary eyes. "What should we do to heal the wound, doc?"
"Keep accompanying Gina, you must continue to be by her side. Giving encouragement to be able to continue living, that’s all Gina needs right now," answered the doctor Dorothea again. "Even though Gina doesn’t want to talk, Gina is really broken and down at this time. She’s at her lowest point right now."

Massimo’s apartment. Los Angeles, USA.
Massimo was just silent when he saw the news circulating in the media today, he couldn’t believe Ivana would do such a cunning way to get his attention. Ivana used cctv footage in the basement of the apartment to show about her closeness to Massimo in the mass media, Ivana also made up a story by saying that her relationship with Massimo was far enough away and the CCTV footage where Ivana hugged Massimo from behind became one of the concrete pieces of evidence to justify Ivana’s words.
"Ivana is really cunning, this woman has absolutely no fear," Martin said quietly. "We must act immediately to deal with gossip like this."
Massimo took a deep breath. "Don’t be in a hurry, Martin. I’d like to see how far this woman goes first."
"But she’s ruined your name, sir."
Massimo pursed his lips. "I know, it’s just that if we end this soon things will taste a little bland. I want to see what Ivana’s other plans are, I still want to play with her."
Martin took a deep breath. "But if this matter is allowed to go I’m afraid it will boomerang for you, sir."
"Don’t worry, Martin. I already have all of Ivana’s and her manager’s ace cards."
"Are you sure Ivana would give up that easily, sir?" Martin asked anxiously, seeing Massimo deliberately luring Ivana made Martin worried. "That woman’s obsession with you is truly terrifying, Sir. She still hasn’t given up and chased you all the way to Los Angeles."
"That means she’s a woman who likes a challenge, Martin," Massimo said jokingly.
"Sir..."
"Relax, Martin. I know how to deal with a woman like Ivana." Massimo cut Martin’s words quickly, Massimo looked happy because he got a new fun job. Ivana’s terror seemed to mean nothing to Massimo at all.
Martin had no power over Massimo’s decisions whatsoever. In the end, he could only let his master do whatever he wanted, Martin knew that Massimo was currently in a bad state after his divorce from Gina. Therefore, Massimo preferred to play with Ivana rather than immediately solve the problem as before. Massimo forgetting that Ivana is the kind of woman who won’t give up easily, that girl with a bad record really isn’t afraid of anything.
From where she was standing, Darius who had been silent all this time was seen lowering his head. Darius looked disappointed at his master’s current attitude, though not very close to Gina but Darius felt sorry for Gina’s fate and was treated unfairly by her master.
"I want to go back to Barcelona," Darius said quietly.
Pablo who was standing beside Darius frowned. "Don’t mess around, Darius. You still want to live, don’t you?"
"I’m fed up in this city, Master has really become a person I don’t know. He’s changed so much."
Pablo swallowed his saliva. "Darius..."
"I want to know Madam’s condition." Darius interrupted Pablo’s words in a barely audible voice.
Pablo spontaneously grabbed Darius’ arm, trying to warn his coworker not to mess around.
Darius lifted his face and glared at Pablo. "I still remember the madam’s cries that night, Pablo. My heart is really not at ease to see the madam crying and begging like that to the master, I feel something is odd."
Pablo’s eyes widened. "W-what do you mean?"
Darius shook his head slowly, slowly his gaze returned to Massimo who was enjoying wine on the sofa which was ten meters from where he was standing. "We all are not very close to Madam, but seeing how Madame cried that night I felt Mrs. not guilty. I felt something odd, something I don’t know what. Madam is a woman who rarely cries even though Master has been rude to her on several occasions, but that night Madam wept in a low voice. I’m sure there’s something madam trying to tell Master."
"We can’t do anything, Darius. We’re just ordinary workers, so don’t get involved in Master and Madame matters, especially now that they’re officially divorced. It’s better if we stay silent and pretend we don’t know as usual," said Pablo again trying to resuscitate Darius.
Darius nodded his head slowly hearing Pablo’s words, what Pablo said was true. He was just another person in Massimo and Gina’s relationship. After taking a deep breath, Darius returned to his feet in his usual perfect posture and focused on Massimo, keeping him safe even though they were currently inside the apartment.
