His soul-Chapter 485: Save my baby
Julian tries to keep thinking positive even though for the past few days his efforts to find out about Gina have been to no avail, Diego’s efforts to find Gina have also not yielded results. The house where Massimo’s new home lived was so hard to find.
"Should we call the police, Dad," Rosa said hoarsely, breaking the silence in the family room of the Sanders house.
"No," answered Julian, Selena and Diego in unison.
Rosa took a deep breath. "Well, it can’t be helped, we have no other choice. Gina and Massimo’s cell phone numbers are currently inactive."
"It’s too risky for us to ask the police for help, Rosa. Apart from offending Massimo, it will also make the problem bigger," said Julian wisely. "Daddy doesn’t want our decision to ask the police for help will only make it more difficult for Gina."
"What Daddy said is true, we can’t just involve the police in this matter." Diego replied to Julian’s words softly. "It’s not only having an effect on Gina but on our family too, Rosa."
Rosa took a deep breath. "Then what should we do?"
"Wait," Selena answered quickly. "We’ll wait for the next ten days, if by that time we haven’t received any news about Gina then I’ll be the one to go straight to the police station.’
"Selena..."
"Don’t ban me, Diego. I know you think about our family’s good name, but we also have to think about Gina. We’re racing against time, I really don’t want to see Gina go through that horrible thing again," Selena said in a trembling voice, recalling Gina’s condition five years ago that made Selena afraid of Massimo again even though on several occasions she admired Massimo.
Diego gritted his teeth. "My men are still at work, Selena. We’ll just have to wait to hear from them and..."
"No, that’s taking too long," Rosa cut in quickly.
"Rosa," Julian called softly. "What Diego said is right, we have to..."
"Ah Daddy is as annoying as Diego, you don’t understand," said Rosa annoyed, without saying goodbye Rosa immediately rushed away from the front of all her family members after snatching her car keys on the table.
Selena just shook her head at Rosa’s attitude, Selena knew that since Gina returned Rosa and Gina’s relationship had become more closer than before.
"Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll keep trying to find Gina. I’ll make sure my men get the results in two days," Diego said promisingly.
Julian smiled. "Thank you son."
"No, Daddy doesn’t need to thank you. Gina is my sister, it’s my duty to protect her even if I have to fight Massimo del Cano," Diego said earnestly. "I would do anything for Gina, Dad."
Julian patted Diego on the shoulder passionately, for several occasions Julian sometimes felt if Diego is very sincere to his family. But on the other hand Julian has to accept the fact that his stepson is a snake who is trying to target him.

"Silly Diego, why should you wait for reports from his subordinates? How good are his men? If they’re great, Gina should be known by now, you idiot." Rosa grumbled cursing Diego’s actions which were considered too slow, Rosa’s hands gripped the steering wheel tightly as she spoke.
Although Rosa hasn’t returned to work at the hospital yet, every day Rosa took time to visit one of the clinics owned by one of her seniors on campus to do volunteer work. Rosa felt happy to be able to help people even though the work was not paid for, being a Sanders meant that Rosa would not be short of money for the rest of her life. Therefore Rosa chose to use her abilities for something more useful by providing free services at her senior clinic.
When she was almost at her destination, Rosa stopped her car in front of a supermarket. Rosa wanted to buy coffee before starting work and this had become her habit for a long time, for her the day would not be perfect without drinking coffee. When it’s fallow and inside the supermarket, Rosa’s destination is her favorite coffee shop inside the supermarket. Rosa immediately ordered bitter coffee with a little sugar as her regular order, but when she was about to take her order, Rosa accidentally saw a young woman running to the toilet in a hurry. Because the woman was wearing a hat, Rosa couldn’t see her face clearly.
"Miss, please." The cashier of the coffee shop where Rosa ordered coffee spoke softly to wake Rosa from her thoughts.
"Oh yeah, sorry," said Rosa quickly. "Thank You."
"You’re welcome, Miss. Please enjoy."
Rosa nodded slowly with a smile, usually Rosa would immediately leave the supermarket as soon as she finished buying coffee. However, this time Rosa really wanted to enjoy her coffee where she bought it. Rosa felt like she was being prompted to stay at the supermarket.
When she had just drank her coffee twice, Rosa’s attention suddenly turned back to a young woman she had previously seen. The young woman’s posture was very familiar to Rosa’s eyes, her long jet black hair and the way she walked made Rosa remember someone. Rosa’s curiosity about the woman’s figure was finally answered when Rosa accidentally saw the young woman’s face that looked very pale.
"GINA!!!" Rosa shouted loudly, mentioning Gina’s name to the young woman who had been attracting her attention.
When her name was called, Gina immediately turned around and was surprised to see Rosa’s figure. Gina’s eyes, which were already wet with tears because she had just vomited, filled up again when she saw Rosa, one of her stepsisters. Not wanting Rosa to see her in this state, Gina then turned around and prepared to leave.
Rosa who didn’t want to lose Gina did the same thing, Rosa ran fast trying to catch Gina who almost arrived at the supermarket door. Luckily this morning Rosa was wearing sneakers instead of high heels like usual so that Rosa could move more freely and in a short time Rosa was able to grab Gina’s arm, holding her from leaving.
"Let go..."
"Gina! What are you doing? Why run away after seeing me?" Rosa rebuked loudly, her chest rising and falling as she spoke.
Getting a question like that Gina immediately lowered her head, trying to avoid eye contact with Rosa. Seeing Gina’s unusual behavior, Rosa frowned. Her intelligent brain immediately worked, she was sure that currently Gina was not fine.
"Tell me, what else is that damn mob doing this time, Gina?" asked Rosa in a trembling voice, her grip on Gina’s arms getting tighter then before.
Gina shook her head slowly. "I-I’m fine."
One of Rosa’s eyebrows rose. "If you’re fine then why did you run when you saw me? And why is your phone off too? You’re not in any trouble, are you?"
"I’m fine, Rosa. Massimo and I are fine," Gina answered hoarsely, repeating Massimo’s name making her chest tighten.
"Ok, if you’re okay try looking at my face. Don’t look down like this," said Rosa half forcefully, Rosa was sure that something wrong had happened to Gina.
"Gina." Rosa repeated Gina’s name, forcing her to look at her face.
Having no other choice, Gina slowly lifted her face up to look at Rosa who looked very worried about her.
"Oh jesus... What’s wrong with you Gina? Your face is so pale, you’re not sick are you?"
Gina shook her head slowly and smiled. "I’m fine, like I just said."
"No, you’re not doing well. Tell me quickly, what did that damn mob do to you to make you like this?"
"I’m really fine, Rosa. I’m just a little bit unwell and..ukkhhhh.." Gina stopped her words when her stomach suddenly hurt.
Rosa, who was surprised to see Gina suddenly whimper in pain, immediately panicked. "Hey..hey...what are you doing, Gina? What happened to you?"
Gina who was kneeling while holding her stomach which was in great pain didn’t answer Rosa’s question, the pain in her stomach was too biting.
"Gina, what are you doing?"
"I-I don’t..." Gina stopped her words when she felt a liquid coming out of her feminine area.
"Gina..."
"P-please, help me. Help my baby, Rosa...."
