"It’s ok, your father has been treated by doctor Peter. His personal doctor, his condition is stable now," said Massimo quietly for the umpteenth time.
Gina just nodded slightly in response to Massimo’s words, her lips still too dry to speak.
When the car really stopped Massimo looked at Gina carefully, Massimo was curious to see Gina who did not overreact. Feeling Gina’s body getting heavier, Massimo finally decided to carry Gina. The risk would be very big if he let Gina walk up the stairs, Gina who was initially rebellious was finally quiet when Massimo gave her a cold look.
"I’ll drop you off when we get to the second floor, so stay calm and don’t rebel. Let me walk in peace."
Gina nodded slowly, giving the answer that she gave him permission. Without changing his expression, Massimo began to walk towards the second floor. Massimo, who has a very well-trained body doesn’t have the slightest difficulty when carrying Gina’s body while climbing the stairs, Gina’s small body really doesn’t put any burden on Massimo. As promised, Massimo immediately lowered Gina’s body from his arms. Massimo let Gina stand on her own two feet without taking his hands off Gina’s waist.
"Remember, don’t panic," Massimo whispered softly.

"Good girl," Massimo said quickly, the next second Massimo stepped back with Gina in his arms to Julian Sanders’ room.
Once in front of her father’s room, Gina’s heart beat five times faster. Even though she couldn’t see her father directly at this time, Gina could already smell the medicine in the room. Unknowingly, Gina stuck her fingernail into Massimo’s arm. Gina who could not back down finally stepped back, went deeper into her father’s bed which was now surrounded by many people. There is Selena who looks worried and Rosa who is standing beside doctor Peter, as a doctor it seems Rosa is asking more about her father’s condition to the doctor who is very experienced. Right beside the other bed was Diego who didn’t take his eyes off his stepfather, the deadpan expression Diego was showing right now was completely unreadable.
"Gina." Selena’s muffled voice let out a small scream saying Gina’s name when she accidentally saw Gina’s figure standing at the foot of the bed with Massimo who was embracing her.
Gina immediately gave Selena a smile trying to hold back her tears from spilling out, but as soon as Selena’s thin hands grabbed her arm quickly the tears she had been holding back for nearly forty minutes flowed down her pale face.
Massimo who realized then took a step back, giving time to Gina and Selena who were hugging. Massimo looked around and ended up at Diego who was giving him a hostile look, seeing Gina come with Massimo made Diego believe that Massimo was the one responsible for Gina’s disappearance from the office today and seemed to know that Diego was angry with him, Massimo deliberately put a defiant mocking smile at Diego. Actually it was easy for Massimo to get rid of Diego who was like a small fly in his eyes, but Massimo didn’t do that. Massimo still wanted to play with his little fly, while seeing how poisonous the parasitic fly raised by his wife’s family was.

"What happened? Why did Daddy drop like this?" Gina asked in a barely audible voice.
Serena shook her head. "I don’t know, when Daddy passed out Rosa and I were in the park. Daisy was the one who found Daddy."
Gina immediately looked around looking for the figure whose name had just been called by her step sister, a small nod from Daisy made Gina’s chest feel calm. Gina knew Daisy wouldn’t lie.
"Doctor Peter is explaining everything to Rosa," Selena said again.
"Let’s join them."
Selena nodded slowly, confirming Gina’s words. With hands as cold as Gina’s, Selena brought Gina closer to the right side of the bed to join Rosa and doctor Peter. Even though the two of them did not understand the discussion that was going on between doctors Peter and Rosa, they still chose to be good listeners waiting for the two of them to finish talking.
After fifteen minutes passed, doctor Peter and Rosa’s conversation ended. Rosa, who had been given a lot of explanations by doctor Peter, looked a little calm, unlike an hour ago, because there was still a lot of work to be done, doctor Peter finally said goodbye. Accompanied by Rosa, doctor Peter left Julian’s room which is currently filled with his children and his son in law.
"We’d better get out, let the medicine that Doctor Peter injected for Daddy work," Diego said quietly, breaking the silence.
Selena and Gina were silent for a while before finally agreeing to Diego’s invitation to leave their father’s room, without a sound one by one they began to leave Julian’s room towards the sofa which was not far from the room they had just left.
"Dinner is ready, we better eat first." Rosa, who had just returned from the first floor, invited all her siblings to enjoy the dinner that had been prepared.
"I’m not hungry yet," Gina answered quickly.
Massimo, who was sitting on a separate sofa, immediately turned his face to look at Gina sharply. "You haven’t eaten anything since lunch, Gina."
"Yeah, but I..."
"You don’t want to see more doctors coming to this house, do you?"
Gina immediately locked her lips tightly hearing Massimo’s words, Rosa who felt guilty rushed to Gina who was sitting beside Selena. Rosa spoke again softly, inviting her two sisters to eat. Although Gina and Selena initially refused, but in the end, both of them complied with Rosa’s request to go down to the first floor, Massimo, who was still sitting, just watched Gina go down the stairs. Massimo was grateful that Rosa had succeeded in persuading Gina to eat.
"You seem to have really changed, Massimo."
Diego’s words succeeded in breaking Massimo’s daydream, Massimo quickly turned his face to Diego who was smiling.

"Gina is not your sister," Massimo interrupted quickly. "So stop talking like you’re a good big brother to him."
