Chapter 439: Diego’s insistence

The moment of lunch that should have been filled with laughter turned into a tense battlefield, several times Gina made noises on her plate. Gina deliberately kept slicing through her already cut meat making an ear-splitting sound as the knife clashed with the plate. Massimo, who realized that Gina was angry could only remain silent and smile a little without intending to open his lips. Massimo knew that if he spoke, Gina’s anger would only grow. Therefore he decided to keep eating even though his tongue could not taste the taste.

"Do you want to make the beef die a fourth time, honey?" said Massimo quietly, Massimo could not stand to see Gina vent her emotions on her steak, which now looks almost like minced meat.

Gina who was overcome with anger immediately raised her face, staring intently at Massimo. Her right hand that was holding the knife seemed to be shaking because of the strength of Gina’s grip at this moment.

Feeling Gina’s emotions multiply, Massimo immediately made a truce, without opening his lips Massimo then raised his hands in the air. Surrender. "Whatever my mistake, please forgive me."

Gina glanced sharply at Massimo. "You always repeat the same mistakes after I forgive."

"But honestly, I don’t know what I’m doing right now, honey. What did I do wrong to make you chop up your steak like that?"

"Don’t know your mistake?" repeated Gina coldly.

Massimo nodded quickly. "Yeah, I don’t know what I did wrong?"

"You’ve made me shower so many times, Massimo! Can’t you see how wrinkled my fingers are from what you did earlier?" said Gina curtly as she raised her hands up and showed them to Massimo.

Seeing Gina’s fingers still wrinkled even though they had finished bathing ten minutes ago made Massimo immediately get up from his seat and go straight to Gina, without permission Massimo grabbed Gina’s hands and placed them on both cheeks. "I’m sorry honey, I can’t control myself. I really miss you, because of that earlier..."

"Don’t use longing as an excuse," Gina replied curtly as she pulled her hands away from Massimo’s face. "You’re a hyper sexist, mad masochist."

Instead of being angry at the insults that came out of Gina’s lips that sounded very spicy, Massimo actually smiled broadly without looking angry at all. "Yes and only you are able to control my illness."

"Massimo, focus," Gina snapped. "I’m talking seriously!"

"Fine, so where is the crux of the matter? Is it wrong that I’m addicted to making love to you? My own wife, the woman who almost drove me crazy."

Gina shook her head in frustration. "Behave like normal people, like other married couples out there who..."

"I don’t want to follow other people, I want to make my own trend. If I want to make love to you ten times a day, why? , because I have rights over you," said Massimo curtly, he didn’t like hearing Gina compare himself to other men out there. "Besides, you should be grateful to have a husband as strong as me, a husband who can make you scream in pleasure, a husband who can make you go out time and time again."

"But I’m tired Massimo, I can’t keep up with you. If you continue like this maybe in the next two years I will die because..."

"Gina!" shouted Massimo loudly. "Don’t talk carelessly, now you better finish your food and be nice at home. Yesterday’s incident I can still forgive, but if something like that happens again then don’t blame me if you see the worst side of me."

Gina gripped the hem of the skirt she was currently wearing under the table. "W-what do you mean?" Gina’s voice trembled slightly, unable to hide her fear.

"The bodyguards who fail to guard you in this house along with all the servants I will kill right before your eyes..."

"Massimo!"

"And I never play games, every sentence I say is serious. As serious as I am in this relationship with you, so if you don’t want to see Daisy, the other Darius dies horribly then be a good boy who obeys my orders. Your husband’s orders, one- the only person you have to obey," said Massimo firmly without any doubt in the words that just came out of his slightly rosy lips.

Gina’s face paled at the words that just came out smoothly from Massimo’s lips, imagining Massimo holding a gun with dozens of corpses strewn under his feet made Gina suffocate and almost unconscious if Massimo hadn’t landed his lips on her neck which made Gina instantly wake up from her horrific reverie. that she didn’t want to see.

"Vanilla..." Massimo breathed hoarsely. "I’m going to miss this smell of yours for the next few hours," he said quietly, guiltily, even though he had just made the most terrifying threat Gina had ever heard.

Gina, who was still in shock at Massimo’s previous words, was silent when Massimo gave her a soft kiss on the lips. Massimo’s smile widened when he saw that Gina still didn’t react, because today he had to solve all the problems that happened at the Red Devil. Massimo finally left Gina in the dining room alone.

Not long after Massimo left the dining room, the sound of the car exhaust sounded clear until it finally disappeared and made the atmosphere quiet again. Only the sound of the waves crashing is now Gina’s daily accompaniment. Gina’s two hands that previously gripped the hem of her dress are now back on the table, Gina slowly reaches for the glass that is near her steak which looks like minced meat. Gina downed her drink without a trace, Massimo’s words really had a big effect on her at this point. Gina couldn’t possibly sacrifice others just because of her selfishness, thinking about Massimo’s threat made Gina’s appetite disappear.

With dragging steps, Gina walked up the stairs to her now tidy and clean room. When she and Massimo made love again in the bathroom for three rounds the maids immediately moved quickly, tidied the bed and replaced everything with a new one so that the room now smelled good again and there was absolutely no smell of the sperm that had been spilled from her love with Massimo.

Arriving at the room, the first thing Gina did was to immediately reach for her cellphone which was on the nightstand. Gina then made a call to Diego’s number, Gina had to tell Diego everything.

"Yes, Gina..." Diego’s voice sounded soft in Gina’s ear.

Gina, who was already sitting on the edge of the bed, gripped the sheets she was sitting on. "I don’t think I’ll be able to help you, Diego," Gina said softly, barely audible.

Diego, who had just come out of the meeting room, immediately stopped his steps. "W-what do you mean, Gina? Massimo didn’t give you permission?"

"No, it’s not like that..."

Diego, who had been provoked by emotion, sighed loudly. "Then what, Gina?"

"I haven’t told her about your offer," Gina answered quietly. "But..."

"But what, Gina? Speak clearly, not in pieces like this. You’re driving me crazy, Gina," Diego said in frustration, ignoring the many eyes staring at him at the moment.

"Massimo forbade me to leave the house, Diego, he even threatened to kill the bodyguards who guarded me if I dared to run away from the house like yesterday."

Immediately Diego’s body became tense, his eyes sharpened. Diego was silent for a few seconds.

"Ok, now take a breath and calm yourself down for a bit. After that you tell everything to your brother, okay," Diego said softly, Diego deliberately called himself ’brother’ so that Gina melted at him. Diego knew he couldn’t use force to force Gina.

Gina obeyed Diego’s advice, after feeling calmer Gina then told what Massimo had just told her.

"You’re not wrong Gina, you don’t have to be afraid. After all, what you did yesterday was natural, no one would be silent if locked up like you. You have the right to enjoy freedom like any married woman out there, Gina. So you Don’t be afraid or feel guilty if Massimo really kills his men," Diego said coldly, Diego tried to be as natural as possible so that Gina would not suspect him.

"But I’m afraid, Diego."

"Gina, listen carefully, okay? You are not alone in this world, you have us. You have a family. There is a Daddy and brother who will always take care of you, so you don’t need to be afraid," Diego said gently reassuring Gina. "Brother is willing to die for you, dear."

Gina blinked at Diego’s last words, one eyebrow even raised because she felt odd about what her step sister said.

"So please don’t say that word again, remember Gina you are part of the Sanders family. Our family is not an ordinary family, everyone in Barcelona knows who our family is, Gina," Diego said again.

"Y-yes Diego, I know."

"Well then don’t be sad anymore, now calm your mind. Find the right time to talk to Massimo, if he can’t be spoken to properly brother will come forward."

Gina shook her head quickly. "No, let me talk to him."

Diego laughed. "Ok ok...i won’t interfere, i believe you can handle that damn bastard."

"His name is Massimo, not a damn bastard, Diego."

Diego’s laughter grew louder after hearing Gina’s words. "You are very cute, Gina. Alright then, I have to continue working. Daddy is waiting for my report."

Gina’s face immediately panicked when she heard her father’s name called. "I-I’m bothering you, Diego

"No dear, brother just finished the meeting and now brother has to report the results of the meeting to Daddy who just arrived at the office. This morning Daddy went to the tax office with Charlie," Diego lied, he deliberately said Julian was busy to make Gina even more depressed . Diego knows Gina will not stand still if her father is sick.

"Daddy’s really busy, huh?"

Diego laughed again. "You know what Daddy is like, don’t you? Daddy is just like me, he doesn’t trust people easily. Moreover, the matter that Daddy is dealing with this morning is quite sensitive."

"Please remind Daddy to take care of his health, Diego," Gina said softly, her voice sounding hoarse. Diego’s provocation managed to tear Gina’s mind.

"That’s the first thing I always do, Gina. It’s okay, I have to go to Daddy’s room now. I’ll call you later this afternoon, bye Gina. Take care of your health."

Gina lowered her phone from her ear not long after her call with Diego was cut off, Diego’s words really managed to make Gina nervous. Knowing that her father’s heart condition is not so healthy makes Gina worried and afraid.

"What should I do, mom? I-I don’t want to lose Daddy..."
