Being able to talk normally with Massimo was something to be proud of, considering how complicated the relationship between Gina and Massimo had been over the last years. Seeing Massimo’s far-reaching demeanor was enough to make Gina sure that the pushy man had gotten his temper under control.

Gina chuckled. "I, Georgina del Cano, promise not to leave Massimo del Cano’s side again unless Massimo doesn’t want me anymore."

"Gina," Massimo growled hoarsely. "What kind of promise is that? Repeat, I didn’t like the last sentence. Who doesn’t want you anymore? Until now when you were on your period I couldn’t wait to touch you, then how can you say I won’t want you anymore, hmm?"

"We never know what will happen to our future, Massimo."

"I know, my future is yours."

"Massimo," Gina sighed in frustration. "I’m serious."

"I’m much more serious, quickly repeat your promise earlier."

Gina took a deep breath. "I, Georgina del Cano, promise not to leave Massimo del Cano, no matter what."
