His soul-Chapter 147: Gina’s boyfriend
Julian took a deep breath as he watched his servant work to close the secret door that Gina only found out about thirty minutes ago, Julian who was born and raised at his house was completely unaware of the existence of the secret door until Gina told him.
"Seems you really love Gina, Mom," said Julian to himself, looking up at the dark sky.
Thirty minutes ago Gina said that she learned of the existence of the secret door from Barbara Sanders. Gina had to lie a little because she didn’t want to make matters longer. So she borrowed his grandmother’s name to replace Massimo’s name as the person who had informed about the secret door.
Fearing that many people would find out about the existence of the secret door, Julian decided to permanently close it from both sides. Julian deliberately closed the door at night so that not many people would know about the work he was doing. Julian has also advised his servants not to discuss the secret passage again with anyone, including his wife, Vanessa.
Although surprised that Gina was told about the existence of a secret passage in her house, Julian was grateful, he was very happy that his mother really loved his daughter. After almost an hour finally the secret passage was permanently closed, Julian had even installed a large wardrobe that two people would not be able to move in the secret door.
"Calm down up there, Mom, Dad. I will be a good father to my children as well as a wise head of the family in this house, if you meet Sandra in heaven please convey my apologies to her. Tell her too that I love her very much." Julian thought to himself as he looked at the picture of his parents hanging on the wall, because the morning was almost here, Julian decided to go to sleep immediately.

Even though she’s showered and dressed neatly but Gina hasn’t been able to leave her room yet, she has to be patient waiting for Teresa to finish giving medicine to her legs which are much better than last night.
"For a few days you’d better wear a slip on, Miss. So that the wound on your heel can heal quickly."
"It’s healed too, Teresa. You don’t have to worry."
"What’s healed? If you’re healed of course you won’t groan in pain when you hit the water when you showered earlier."
Gina’s lips pursed. "You suck!!"
"I speak the facts, Miss."
Gina’s lips pursed. "I always lose when I argue with you!!"
"Who lost?"
Gina and Teresa immediately turned to look at Julian who was already leaning against Gina’s bedroom door.
"Daddy!!" Gina exclaimed quite loudly.
Julian smiled, he then walked over to Gina. Teresa immediately stepped away from Gina because she didn’t want to interrupt the father and son’s conversation.
"Daddy’s awake? Didn’t Daddy just sleep?" Gina asked worriedly.
"Even if you only get an hour of sleep Daddy will wake up early, honey."
"Why is that?"
"It’s a habit since childhood, Grandpa taught Daddy very hard when Daddy was little."
"Oh my God..."
Julian chuckled. "But that’s good, because if Daddy wasn’t disciplined in the past, maybe Daddy wouldn’t be like this."
Gina nodded her head, she confirmed her father’s very reasonable words.
"Come on down, you can walk on your own, can’t you?" asked Julian softly as he looked at Gina’s heels that Teresa had treated.
"I can, I’m fine, Daddy. Don’t listen to Teresa, she’s overdoing it."
Julian chuckled. "Yes, yes... Well, let’s go downstairs, don’t make our guests wait too long."
"A guest?"
"Yeah, you’ll find out later."
Gina’s heart was beating very fast, she was worried and scared when her father mentioned the guest. What Gina can do now is to pray that the guest called her father is not the person she is currently thinking about, since yesterday’s incident on the toll road, Gina has decided not to want to know him anymore. Only a cowardly and mentally ill man could drop a girl off in the middle of a lonely and hot toll road. Crazy Massimo!
Finally, Gina’s worries disappeared when she saw the figure of a guest called by her father.
Gina warmly greeted some of the well-dressed men after her father, two of her father’s guests turned out to be bank workers and the rest were the people who would take care of Gina’s new identity card to replace the old one that was lost.
For nearly thirty minutes Gina just sat, she only watched the way her father spoke to his guests and explained how Gina had lost her precious cards. After chatting for almost an hour, Gina finally got her credit card without the limit back, as a replacement for her lost credit card. But the ID card still took two days to complete and that wasn’t a problem for Gina because she wasn’t going anywhere either.
"Ok, problem solved," said Julian, relieved when he saw the guests’ cars starting to leave his yard.
"Thank you, Daddy."
Julian smiled. "No need to thank me, this is a mandatory thing that Daddy has to do. Daddy won’t let you in Barcelona without an identity, you know our country is being invaded by illegal immigrants from Morocco? Daddy doesn’t want anything bad to happen to you."
Gina was speechless, and suddenly Gina hugged her father tightly. It felt so nice and peaceful to not hear Vanessa and her stepsisters voices since last night, the house really felt peaceful and Gina wanted to be selfish if they didn’t all come back home forever.
However, Gina’s hope is only hope, because suddenly the car belonging to her stepsisters suddenly entered the yard. Gina automatically immediately released her arms from her father’s body, she didn’t want to be seen as controlling her father in front of her stepmother and stepsisters.
"Honey, I miss you." Vanessa screamed loudly when she saw Julian, she thought Julian was waiting for her at the door.
Julian smiled, he immediately opened his arms wide to welcome his wife’s arrival. "I Miss you too, how’s the party?"
"It’s very fun but it still feels lacking because you didn’t attend," Vanessa answered.
"I have to work, you know that right? After all, yesterday Gina just had an accident. I couldn’t have left her alone at home."
Like a kind-hearted stepmother, Vanessa immediately panicked, she immediately released her arms from Julian’s body. "Disaster? What happened to my Gina?"
"Gina was robbed, lucky Gina wasn’t hurt by them. Only her cellphone and bag were taken by the bad guy."
"Jesus!!"
Vanessa immediately turned to Gina who was standing behind her husband, she quickly approached Gina and hugged her tightly. Really the acting done by Vanessa is perfect.
"Are you all right, honey? What happened? How could a story like that happen to you?" Vanessa immediately bombarded Gina with questions that made Julian smile.
"If you ask Gina that many questions, how will Gina answer them, honey," said Julian softly as he wrapped his arms around Vanessa’s waist.
Vanessa turned her gaze to Julian with teary eyes. "I’m panicking, Julian. Why didn’t you tell me this right away last night? If I knew how to experience a disaster like this I definitely wouldn’t have stayed overnight. I would have gone straight home when you called me, I’m really a bad mother sob..."
Julian thinned his lips. "No, you’re not a bad mother. Gina’s okay anyway, I’ve solved all the problems. There’s nothing else you need to worry about."
"Is it true?"
"Yeah, just ask Gina."
Gina, who was really fed up with being close to her stepmother, was forced to smile because her father said her name, not today, not now. Gina still doesn’t want to reveal her stepmother’s true nature to her father.
"What Daddy said is true, dear? Are you okay?" Vanessa asked quietly, still with her very beautiful acting.
Gina nodded her head. "Yeah, I’m fine. That bad guy just took my stuff."
"Oh God, thank God. Well then let’s go inside, Mommy wants to hear in more detail what if you experience that terrible thing, Gina," Vanessa said again while embracing Gina and Julian’s arms on both sides to invite her into the house, leaving his three children who had only been spectators.
"Fuck, that sucks. Why is the kid still okay? Why not just die," said Rosa, annoyed.
Selina smiled. "Actually she’s not fine, didn’t you see that her legs were injured earlier?"
"Tsk, it’s just a small wound Selena. She should have injuries all over her body or come back mutilated or whatever, like in the movies when someone is robbed," said Rosa curtly.
Diego chuckled. "How cruel, don’t be so cruel my dear sister. Wouldn’t it be more interesting if we tortured her slowly until she finally gave up and left this house."
"Well, I agree with you Diego. We really have to torture the kid first, until she gets scared and leaves this house voluntarily," Selena said quickly, her eyes sparkling as she spoke. Selena felt What was said was brilliant.
Rosa folded her arms across her chest. "But how do we torture her? As long as Daddy is at home we can’t do anything, just look at Mommy. In front of Daddy she’s been so nice to Gina, it’s annoying."
Diego laughed again. "Don’t worry, there will come a time when we can torture Gina. And for Mommy it’s better we don’t disturb her, because believe me Mommy has her own plans behind her kind attitude to Gina. Come on, let’s go inside and don’t talk about this outside, don’t let it happen. someone proposed our plan to Daddy because things would go wrong."
Rosa and Selena nodded at the same time hearing their brother’s words, the three of them went into the house following their parents to have breakfast together because they had not eaten after leaving Jesslyn’s house.
When everyone was enjoying the meal quietly, suddenly a waiter came into the room to inform Gina of the arrival of a guest.
"Guest? I don’t feel like I have an appointment to meet anyone today," said Gina, confused based on what her maid said.
"But that person said that he is your lover, Miss."
"What?"
"Boyfriend? You have a lover, dear?" asked Julian in surprise.
Turned to his father. "No Dad, I don’t even..."
"Let the young man in, I want to get to know my daughter’s lover more closely," said Julian excitedly interrupting Gina’s words.
