Chapter 75: Chapter 75: The Man She Stole Is Ethan Sinclair

Looking at Quinn Sinclair’s shocked expression, torn between whether to keep Kiana Sutton’s secret or betray her for her brother if Kiana really cheated on Ethan Sinclair, Kiana’s head started pounding.

How was she supposed to explain?

She couldn’t exactly say that the man she was sneaking around with was Ethan Sinclair himself!

But what made Kiana curious was, since Ethan wasn’t here to avenge Quentin Sinclair, then why did he sneak into her room in the middle of the night?

It wasn’t until Kiana saw Quinn Sinclair’s Moments post that she finally got her answer.

Quinn had posted a video of her and Quentin playing pool, with Miles Goodman running around attending to Kiana, totally making his intentions obvious.

If Ethan wasn’t there for Quentin, then it was probably because he saw Miles Goodman—was Ethan jealous?

That thought had barely entered her mind when Kiana shook her head; she’d been burned by her own wishful thinking enough times, and didn’t dare imagine anything.

At that moment, Quinn Sinclair got a phone call, and whatever the person on the other end said made her face turn sour.

After she hung up, Kiana gave an anxious little gesture. "Quinn, what happened?"

Quinn’s mind raced, then she suddenly lit up as if she’d thought of something. "Sis, there’s a famous natural swimming pool at Mount Greylag, and today’s weather is gorgeous—we should go for a swim!"

Not waiting for Kiana to respond, Quinn dragged her straight to the pool.

Right beside the swimming pool was a swimsuit shop; Quinn picked out a particularly sexy string bikini and handed it to Kiana. "Sis, you have to wear this!"

Kiana looked at the barely-there swimsuit, crossed her arms in a big X with a super serious expression.

"Sis, you’ve got such a great body, why do you always wear these conservative clothes? Kate Lynch just woke up, and my brother’s been with her all the time. Don’t you feel bad?"

Kiana pursed her lips. Of course she felt bad.

But Ethan Sinclair didn’t love her, and there was nothing she could do.

"Come on, let’s take a seat and talk."

They found some chairs and sat down. The ever-resourceful Mason Kane had somehow gotten his hands on some lychees, peeled one with plastic gloves, and handed it to Quinn.

Quinn took it and held it up to Kiana’s mouth. "Sis, have one."

Kiana shook her head. "No, you eat it!"

"Okay then!"

Quinn popped the lychee into her own mouth—the fruit was juicy and sweet this season, and Quinn squinted in delight.

"Sis, here’s the thing: No matter how much Kate Lynch kicks up a fuss, as long as you and my brother don’t get divorced, she’ll always be the homewrecker everyone hates. But you... you’re my brother’s wife. If you love him, you can’t just give up. Love is something you fight for yourself."

Kiana understood all that in theory, but no matter what she did, Ethan always thought the worst of her. He’d just hate her more—he’d never be moved.

"Sis, be honest—has my brother... ever brought up divorce with you?"

Kiana pursed her lips and shook her head; this question had tormented her for days. She really didn’t know what Ethan was thinking.

Quinn slapped her thigh excitedly. "See? If he truly didn’t care about you at all, now that Kate’s awake he would’ve already mentioned divorce. So you’ve still got a chance."

Kiana’s heart thudded wildly. Was it really like Quinn said?

Or... maybe Ethan just hadn’t mentioned divorce because their grandma wouldn’t allow it!

Quinn apparently picked up on Kiana’s thoughts and continued, "Sis, no matter why my brother hasn’t brought up divorce, you’re still his wife right now, and that means there’s a chance to kick Kate out of his heart. You’re the real couple—can you really just stand by and watch Ethan and Kate become inseparable?"

Just imagining that scene felt like someone had stabbed Kiana right in the chest, blood pouring out, unbearable pain.

Quinn was right. She loved Ethan Sinclair, so no matter what, she had to try.

That way, even if divorce was inevitable, at least she wouldn’t regret it for the rest of her life.

But Kiana still didn’t get what wearing a sexy swimsuit had to do with pursuing Ethan Sinclair.

"Sis, I heard my brother’s bringing Kate Lynch to Mount Greylag today. Hmph, she’s barely recovered and she’s already here—clearly she knows you’re around and wants to provoke you. So we have to show up looking stunning, blow her away, and keep my brother’s eyes glued to you."

Kiana really was clueless about romance and had zero experience with this sort of thing.

She thought Quinn’s idea was a bit far-fetched, but since she couldn’t come up with anything better, she just went along with it. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

But the bikini was too much; Kiana couldn’t accept it, so she picked a floral swimsuit—neither too conservative nor too sexy.

Quinn’s hair was pink and her swimsuit was green, looking super youthful and lively.

The moment they stepped out, they caught plenty of people’s attention.

Kiana twisted her long hair up into a bun, revealing her elegant, pale swan neck. Her cool, fair skin and the floral suit made her look like she’d stepped straight out of a fairy tale.

Miles Goodman had been watched by Quinn Sinclair all night, so he hadn’t been able to go near Kiana.

First thing in the morning, knowing Quinn would be sleeping in, Miles went looking for Kiana, only to discover she wasn’t in her room.

He found out Kiana was at the pool and rushed over immediately.

Seeing Kiana in her swimsuit, Miles just stared, feeling like his heart was about to explode.

"Ki... Kiana..."

His nose tickled, a rush of heat poured out—Miles wiped at it instinctively, and when he saw it was blood, his handsome face flushed bright red.

"Sis, see how attractive you are? When my brother sees you, he won’t be able to resist either."

Miles was still in a daze; hearing that, all those rosy bubbles around him popped. His face turned dark instantly. "Kiana, you’re dressed like this for Ethan Sinclair?"

Quinn huffed, shooting Miles a look. "Who else would it be—certainly not you!"

Miles puffed up like a puffer fish, furious.

Just then, Quinn’s sharp eyes spotted Ethan Sinclair, Kate Lynch, and Stella Lyncg walking by the magnolia tree near the pool. Kate was in a wheelchair, leaning her head toward Ethan, saying something with a bright smile.

Stella was pushing the wheelchair, scanning the crowd like she was searching for someone.

"Bro..."

Quinn suddenly called out, making Kiana’s heart skip. She followed Quinn’s gaze—and locked eyes with Ethan Sinclair’s cold, stormy stare.
