Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master-Chapter 139 A New World [Part 2]
"So… you are telling me you had a dream about all of this happening back when we were in the capital and you froze over?" Emma asked while keeping her eyes narrowed.
"Well, it was more of a vision than a dream but yes, I already watched it happen," Zack replied while looking Emma directly in the eyes.
He trusted her enough to tell the exact details of what he saw yet Zack didn't dare tell her about the past thing he had seen. Emma probably wasn't going to like such a thing.
'But what if that was not a vision and a vision of the future too?' Once again, the voice in his head decided to question him.
This time, he could easily shake the voice off by focusing on Emma.
"Know what? Let's just go and talk to Evangeline before seeing what is happening around the world." Emma uttered a sigh as she pinched her cheek once just to see whether she was dreaming or not.
After that, she raised her index finger and pointed it towards the ceiling before using water gun. Similar to what happened with Zack, a beam of water shot out of her index finger and directly hit the ceiling.
"Wack…" Emma muttered before the two of them started navigating through the mansion with the help of their phone watches.
Eva had uploaded the directions to her room as well as every other important place in her house for the trio to navigate through.
If not for that, they would have long since been lost in the place.
"Zack, if everything from Hikari is coming to life, does that mean we can also summon our weapons?" Emma asked in a low tone as the entire mansion was pin-drop silent.
"We should try that then," Zack whispered back as he had to admit that the thought had appeared in his mind.
The only problem was that he could summon both Chastiefol and Gugnir in real life. He had tried to do the same thing with Eirias but the sword had refused to appear in the real world.
"Khryselakatos," Emma said aloud yet her golden bow didn't appear beside her. She almost looked disappointed before turning her face forward and continuing to move.
Three minutes later, they were standing in front of Eva's door. Zack did the same thing as last time since there was something that he wanted to check.
"She has a status screen too…" Emma muttered in a surprised tone as they saw the red status panel floating above Eva's sleeping face.

Both Zack and Emma looked at each other while wondering what they were seeing was true or not. Eva's stats looked as though they belonged to a level 3 or level 4 player instead of a level one player.
"Never mind that. How does she even have a status screen in the first place?"
"We don't even know how all of this is happening in the first place much less how she got it."
"Then open the news."
"That was what I was going to do."
Due to their chatter, Eva's eyes fluttered open. She was immediately met with the red status page which made her sit up straight.
While she did that, Zack noticed that there was a lock icon present at the top of the status panel. Currently, the lock button was unlocked and green in color.
Zack quickly opened his status panel and clicked on the lock button. The lock got locked and the button turned red.
'I am sure this is the private or public status screen.' Zack then looked at Eva and waited for her reaction.
The CEO of Doogle blinked her eyes in disbelief before turning to look at Zack and Emma.
"What the hell are you both doing inside my dream?!"
She sounded so baffled that Zack and Emma couldn't help but smile. Eva barely lost her composure but when she did, it would be fun.
"It's real Eva, open the news," Zack said before moving forward and pinching Eva's right cheek. She felt the pain slowly creeping up as Zack pulled away.
The CEO took a few moments to calm herself down before she used her phone watch to open the latest news. Instead of American news channels, Eva moved to the other side of the world and tuned into the news channels.
"Live from ABP news channel, we would like to tell you that some strange things are taking place all over the Asian continent!" f𝚛e𝚎𝘄𝒆𝚋𝚗𝚘ѵ𝑒𝚕.𝑐𝘰𝑚
The person saying the news was a short Asian woman in her mid-twenties. Her entire body was shaking as she spoke the news.
"The game known as Hikari has come to life!"
At the same moment, an explosion took place thus producing smoke and preventing the camera from showing anything else.
What followed was the sound of humans screaming.
"This world shall know pain." That was the last thing audible before the connection was disconnected.
The trio stood still, their expressions completely hidden. Eva didn't allow them to process the entire thing as she opened the next Asian news channel.
"We, the people of ZEE news, have some exceptional people around us which are currently showing their powers!" The person speaking was a man in his fifties and was wearing a suit.
His entire face was pale as sweat dropped from his body. The next second, the footage shifted to a group of five individuals, three men, and two women, standing alone in the center of a spotlighted room.
"We are all well over level 15 inside Hikari and this is what we can do." One of the men in the group said before bending down on his knees and jumping up.
He jumped thirty feet into the air before landing on the ground with a smile. One of the women rolled her eyes as she lifted her hand and muttered something under her breath. 𝘧𝓇𝗲𝑒we𝙗noѵ𝑒l.𝐜o𝘮
The next second, a ball of light appeared in her hand as she smiled at the camera. Though her smile was genuine, it contained the same fearsomeness as a lion about to hunt its prey.
The news feed was once again cut off as Eva immediately sprang up.
"Nice outfit," Emma said while doing a fake cough as Emma glanced down. She was wearing a loose pair of shirt and pajamas with a cat-styled theme.
The CEO too did a fake cough before locking her status screen. She then looked at Zack and Emma, happy that the two of them were so close to her.
If she had entered such a situation without a trusted person around her, Eva was sure that she would have entered a paranoid state.
"Let's get Mia and Kevin too. That nephew of mine will finally not be useless for once."
"You don't need to get me." The trio turned around to see Mia standing in the place where the door to Eva's room would have been.
The CEO narrowed her eyes when she saw the door lying on the ground. Emma immediately pointed her fingers at Zack who seemed to be looking at his sister without noticing Eva.
"We will talk about this later. This is not a trivial matter." Eva said while rubbing her temples.
After all, the chaos had only begun.
---
"Now would you look at that. My father, the great Puten Solanski, is lying on the ground while begging for mercy." Hayden's lips suddenly curled up into a smile.
Below his feet was his father, his expression completely terrified. Around them were fifteen bodies, all knocked unconscious.
When the status screen had appeared, Hayden knew that he won the battle before it could have started. Now all he had to do was slit his father's throat, ultimately ending his life along with his suffering.
But now that the moment to kill had arrived, Hayden couldn't help but stare at his father's pathetic fear-stricken eyes.
'If every person is a protagonist, then I guess I am the anti-hero one.' Hayden thought curiously while hitting Puten's face with his right leg. 'As for him, can easily be the villain as well as the hero.'
"Hayden, please don't kill me!" Puten said while trying to cover his face and protect himself from the beating.
Hayden seemed to have turned blind as well as deaf. He didn't hear his cries of pain and instead kicked him in the stomach.
"You didn't stop back when my mother cried under your feet while I was beaten in front of her. Then you made hell descent on her while slowly killing her," An evil grin appeared on Hayden's face. 'If you didn't stop, why do I have to stop."
Hayden then used one of his in-game skills he had managed to learn while hosting the true ruler. The skill was called darkness tentacles that could be controlled to have thorns.
For the next hour, screams rose from Puten's mouth yet there was nothing he could do. He had given up on trying to save himself and death would be his only salvation.
Hayden felt something inside his heart slowly losing free as he remembered the scene from his childhood. He had been five years old and the world had known of him being Puten's son, thus getting his father threats.
Back then, Puten had beaten him so bad that his femur had cracked a little alongside one of his ribs being broken. His mother had died while trying to protect him to the best of her abilities.
Now, he would give Puten a worse death than what she had received.
"Say that you officially pass your position to me." Hayden used the recording mode of his phone watch while pointing it towards Puten's face.
The ruler of the Solanski family and the underworld side of North America had turned completely purple and bruised. Furthermore, many cuts had torn open his face thus making the carpet in the room turn red with his blood.
"I, Puten Solanski, officially pass my position to my one and only son, Hayden Solanski. He had full power over everything and can have anything he wants. If the command is not obeyed, he can do whatever he wants to you.'
Puten said in a broken tone as his mouth started making a gurgling sound. After he had gotten what he had wanted, Hayden's tentacles pierced Puten's heart and killed him.
One of the basic spells Hayden had learned was fireball which he used to burn his old man's body. Water sensors didn't activate as he had already disabled them.
'Now, it's time to leave this hellhole and go meet my new friends.' Hayden thought while walking away from the room.
However, he couldn't smile despite the contraction around his heart being lifted. The reason was quite simple, it was the first time he had killed anyone.
'Hopefully, I don't become too sentimental while talking to them,' He thought while taking a deep breath. 'They are the only ones preventing me from giving in to my inner demons. I would rather die than follow in my father's footsteps.'
