Hidden Marriage, Overbearing Love: Mr! Please Let Me Go-Chapter 669 - 670: Shooting
"How could there be a gunshot at the entrance of your group?" Mu Shini dared not think about it. What if the shot hit Bo Sishen’s head or heart? What would happen then?
"I’ll have someone investigate this matter." Bo Sishen’s face was pale.
"What should we do now?" Mu Shini was at a loss due to the sudden event.
"You know how to drive. Take me to the hospital, to Dr. Zhuo." Bo Sishen leaned against the seat, frowning deeply while trying to stay strong.
After a while, Bo Sishen lost consciousness.
Mu Shini looked at him and quickly reached out to push him. "Hey, Bo Sishen, what’s wrong? Don’t scare me..."
Seeing that his wound was still bleeding, Mu Shini hurriedly took off her silk belt from her clothes to temporarily bandage Bo Sishen’s wound.
Then she started the car and drove away. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Before Mu Shini drove off, a man in a black suit came and knocked on the car door, signaling her to lower the window. "Young Madam, I’m an employee of the group. The president is injured and needs to be taken to the hospital immediately. We’ll send someone to protect you on your way to the hospital."
"I’ll drive myself," Mu Shini said.
She wanted to protect Bo Sishen now.
Mu Shini followed the car in front all the way to the hospital.
While in the car, Mu Shini used Bo Sishen’s phone to call Dr. Zhuo.
So when Mu Shini arrived at the hospital, Dr. Zhuo had already arranged a team waiting at the entrance.
Mu Shini parked the car and immediately walked to Dr. Zhuo, saying, "Dr. Zhuo, Bo Sishen passed out after being shot. Please check on him quickly!"
"Alright, don’t be so nervous, he will be fine!" Dr. Zhuo immediately ordered his team to get Bo Sishen out of the car and onto a flatbed to push into the operating room.
Mu Shini, worried, followed them inside.
She watched from the side, feeling the pain herself.
She kept covering her eyes, stealing glances.
"Doctor, what’s wrong with him? Why did he faint?" Mu Shini asked as she saw the bullet being taken out.
"The bullet tips had anesthetic properties, fortunately, they are not toxic," Dr. Zhuo replied while cleaning Bo Sishen’s wound and bandaging it. "He’ll wake up once the anesthesia wears off."
"Really?" Mu Shini asked, still worried.
Dr. Zhuo nodded and looked back at Mu Shini. "Don’t worry too much."
"Oh..."
Only then did Mu Shini breathe a sigh of relief.
...
Mu Shini stayed by Bo Sishen’s side the whole time.
A while later, Tan Mu arrived.
He said to Mu Shini, "Young Madam."
Mu Shini stood up, looked at Tan Mu, and asked, "Did you find out? Who was the shooter? Was it that man named Han Xiaoyue?"
Tan Mu was taken aback. "Young Madam, how did you know it was him?"
"Did you leave your intelligence at home? In such circumstances, other than Bo Sishen’s arch-nemesis, who else could it be? That’s how it plays out on TV!" Mu Shini said indifferently to Tan Mu.
Tan Mu sighed lightly. "Young Madam, the sniper was indeed Han Xiaoyue, but he was sent by Young Master Tinghao to target the president."
Mu Shini froze, staring at Tan Mu, "Bao Tinghao did it? How could he treat his uncle like this?"
She had thought Bao Tinghao was merely being spiteful.
She never expected him to actually harm Bo Sishen.
"Young Madam, some things are very complicated. I don’t know where to start," Tan Mu said with a troubled look.
Mu Shini frowned, "How could Bao Tinghao do this!"
As Mu Shini spoke, her phone rang. It was an unfamiliar number.
