There were many things Koya wanted to say... but he focused on the most important one.

"Who named you Mable?" His eye twitched. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

He had honestly been planning for something that could strike fear into enemies that he faced... A Dragon named Mable was the complete opposite of that.

"Hmph!" She jabbed her finger at her chest. "I named myself... I’m supposed to be a big strong Dragon so either my papa or only me can name myself."

"I see..." Koya let out an exasperated sigh. "And what was going through your head when you decided on Mable?"

"Uh... we were having breakfast and Aunt Reona gave me some Maple Syrup to put on some sweet dish called Pancakes from Isle city so I decided to name myself after that." She said and placed her hand under her face thoughtfully, genuinely reflecting on her own naming process with complete seriousness. "Though as I proclaimed my name that was supposed to be Maple, I mistakenly said Mable so I’m sticking with it."

"Sure, fine by me... just stop pinching my cheeks. I barely have any fat on my face." He said and the girl looked thoughtful before directing her attention to Yuna who had her cheeks violated as well.

He made the mistake of glancing at Victoria and though she was smiling, her eyes were so dark that he could practically see hell on the other side.

"Mable’s a very sweet girl and she’s just like you, I think that’s how you were when you were a kid." She said.

’She’s really nothing like me...’ Koya thought.

When he was a kid he was bullied for most of his life and even when he got outside before he got the channel, he was used and taken advantage of just to make some cash for other people. ’And I should keep it that way.’

"B-but I didn’t know you went ahead to have a child with a monster. I’ve decided, Hubby..." She pressed one hand against her own neck and then pressed his neck as well. "I’ll kill both of us together!"

"Hold on..."

"Mama?" Mable turned to Victoria and looked at her cutely, making the pressure on Koya’s neck vanish immediately as if it didn’t exist at all. "Leave Papa alone... take me to my dresses, I want to pick a new one for the occasion then we can go down and have Lunch."

Victoria stood up quickly and it was as if she had completely forgotten about him.

Whatever murderous intention had been sitting behind her eyes a moment ago had been fully replaced by the prospect of dressing a small dragon girl. Mable jumped from his stomach and into Victoria’s waiting arms.

"I’ll see you in a bit Papa, I wanna get dressed for you." She said and then Victoria left with her while cuddling the dragon girl all the way out of the room.

Koya had a serious headache and he turned to Yuna.

"How did she get here...?"

"I found her." Disguise Master said from her position at the door. "You really didn’t make an effort to hide her but thankfully, we got to her in time... So when were you planning to tell us that you had a Dragon egg this whole time, Master? Boss is very interested in it."

"Ouch..." Koya sat up properly.

Even now his body wasn’t completely healed which was surprising given he was supposed to have a higher healing skill now. "I’m guessing you had something to do with what happened on Familiar Isle."

Disguise Master looked away.

"I have no idea what you mean. I discovered Mable’s egg while you were out and joined in on bringing you back safely." She said and Akemi blinked.

"Didn’t we meet up-"

Disguise Master gave her a look and she shut up immediately.

"But thank you... because of you, Master Hakai is smiling even more than when she’s with you." Disguise Master said. "But you’ll have to prepare yourself again, you’ve missed some days at the Academy and Mid-terms are just next week."

’Fuck! It completely slipped my mind!’ Koya almost yelled out.

He had barely launched the site and... ’So much work. I can feel an even larger headache coming.’

Disguise Master exited the room and Yuna stood up.

"Akemi, why don’t we get Master something to eat and drink?" She asked before turning to Koya. "Master, would you like something?"

"Sure... thanks a lot." Koya said and the two girls blushed before walking off together.

Now he was alone in the room with Riftclaw. He looked at the cat.

"So you followed me back, huh?"

He wanted to get a contract with the Familiar as well. It was extremely powerful and more importantly, it had chosen to come.

"Meow~"

It hopped onto the bed, settling into the space between Koya’s legs.

"Why are you so interested in me? From the way the Dean sounded, it seems like you’ve been on the Isle for quite a while." Koya said.

Riftclaw hadn’t even appeared in the manga but it was understandable... the event had progressed smoothly in that version without the chaos of the Isle arc.

Riftclaw moved forward and placed a paw on his chest.

"Meow."

"So you’re choosing me for something in my heart, huh?" Koya asked. He really wondered what it was.

His life had pretty much become a cliché at this point.

A cliché bloodline skill that belonged in a porn book... A cliché Vampire wife... Cliché slaves bound to him by marks... and his dragon egg had also managed to hatch into a cliché dragon girl.

...But he liked it... All of it.

The clichés and everything that came with them, He honestly loved it. Reading them was a hassle but it was fun to be living in one and he didn’t want it to end.

"I wonder what you see that I can’t." Koya muttered under his breath and reached for his ink only to realize he was in a patient’s gown and his storage ring wasn’t on his hand. "Huh? Where did it go?"

"Meow." Riftclaw extended the paw it had been licking forward.

"Huh? Just hold on... let me get the-"

It pressed the paw against his hand.

「Riftclaw has offered you a Familiar Contract. Will you accept?」

「Y / N」

Koya looked at the Familiar in the eye. The Familiar looked back at him with the exact same energy and then he laughed.

"Sure." He said and immediately Riftclaw’s body turned into white light that took residence in his soul.

The sensation of a fourth Familiar entering was different from the previous three... or maybe it was because the Familiar was Riftclaw? But he was having a euphoric feeling like his soul was being stretched comfortably.

「Congratulations, you have successfully completed a Hidden Mission: Contract Riftclaw」

「You have received ~???~ as a reward and a note which reads:」

「Use ??? on a full moon to attain Riftclaw’s true power」

’So you gave me a reward... just so I couldn’t use it immediately?’ Koya twitched. He really felt like punching the screen.

"Whatever." He said and extended his hand. "Come out... all of you."

A flash of white left his hand and four Familiars emerged at once, all looking at him.

"I guess you all should meet each other." He said and they looked around at one another.

The Silkstrike Mink was already glancing sideways at Riftclaw... the cat had no visible mana output nor did it have any presence but she was not fooled for even a second.

"All of you are my Familiars so I want you to get along. Once I’m better, we’ll begin training, but for now... should I give all of you nicknames?"

All four let out various cries simultaneously, like the suggestion had been the correct one.

Koya chuckled.

"Alright..." He started with the Cindervix with pale fur... the shy daughter of the Cindervix leader and the smallest one who had extended her paw slowly. "How about Cinder?"

It was a bit lazy but the pup didn’t care at all. She yelped in joy and spun once.

"Welcome to the family, Cinder." He looked at the Embermane Lion cub next, whose small mane was burning happily in a ring around its head. "And as for you... Rion works."

It was the name of one of his favorite manga characters who happened to use fire.

The cub’s mane flickered brighter for a moment when it heard the name, the small flames rising slightly before settling.

Rion nodded and let out a roar that was genuinely cute at its current size but one day, it would be able to roar like the Embermane Leader itself.

He turned to the Silkstrike Mink, who was already looking expectant with both weasel arms folded.

"Kiri for you... It sounds nice." He said simply.

Kiri immediately dropped into a fighting stance and began stabbing the air several times in rapid succession with her weasel palms, which he took as approval.

"I’m glad you all like the names." He said and then looked at Riftclaw.

The cat looked genuinely cool... even if it was just sitting there on the ground and licking it’s paws.

It was hard to come up with a nickname on the spot for something like that. He sat with it for a moment and then slammed his fist down into an open palm.

"Got it. Riffi."

Riffi looked at him then continued licking its paw with a quiet meow, which he decided counted as acceptance.

"Good. Now return to my soul... I’ll bring you all out later for training."

White light covered all four of them and they were drawn back in except Riffi, who resisted the pull entirely, sat on the bed, and curled up against his leg. At this point, he wasn’t even surprised... What could he do against an overpowered cat?

"It’s hard to imagine you destroyed Ysterion several times over." Koya muttered, looking at the completely normal-looking cat pressed against his leg.

It really did just look like a cat.

Just then the two girls returned with trays and their own Familiars following behind them.

"Master, here’s a juice I made." Yuna said, offering him the drink from the tray.

He took it. "I also wanted to say... thank you very much, because of you we got our own Familiars and Lady Hakai showed us how to make permanent contracts with them since you had temporary ones."

The younger sister of Kiri was on her shoulder and gave Koya a small wave.

The regular Cindervix was with Akemi which was exactly as he had planned when he made the temporary contracts back at the Isle. They had chosen what he thought was best for them and it made him proud too.

Koya drank the lemonade and smiled at both of them.

"You’re both welcome. Maybe before these stressful mid-terms we’ll go to the Outer Zone together and keep grinding..."

He set the cup back on the tray. "All of you will rank up and your Familiars too."

"Yes Master, we’re ready! I’ve developed a new technique and showed it to Whisky already! We’ll impress you!" Akemi said.

"I hope so." He gave her a smile and Yuna bit her own lip with a grumble.

"So what... me and Tachie have been working on our own attack to take Master by surprise." She muttered while gritting her teeth though Koya caught every word clearly.

"I can’t wait to see what you both have in store for me." He said, setting the food tray across his lap. "For now though... do both of you mind getting my phone and asking Disguise Master for my laptop as well? I have some work to get to."

"We’ll get right to it, Master." Both of them said, bowing before running out of the room.

’Honestly, I’m glad I worked with Ogata and not just anyone.’ Koya thought as he now scrolled through the active site on his laptop screen while connected to a VPN.

The man had finished the site quickly and cleanly... uploaded the files, constructed the plans and prices exactly as he had told him before leaving, and even used his inside sources to quietly advertise it to the student body on the day after the Familiar Isle incident.

While Koya had been unconscious in Familiar isle with several damaged organs, Ogata had been executing the job without a single check-in required.

That was the value of hiring someone who took pride in their work.

’He charged me an extra 1.5 million for everything but I guess it was worth it.’ Koya thought as he entered the backend of the site... the section only the creator could access to check the number of students registered per class across the four plans.

「Standard Bundle (5 Papers) - 6,000 IP」

「Full Bundle (All 10 Papers) - 10,000 IP」

There wasn’t actually any difference between the Full Bundle and the Noble Premium Bundle since they had the same papers, but "Guaranteed Pass" naturally drew all the attention toward it from anyone with enough IP to feel entitled to certainty.

"Alright." Koya muttered under his breath and clicked on the Class 1 table.

Riffi’s head was pressed against his hand and he rubbed between its ears absently. "For people that proclaim to be above all of us... they really are more hopeless."

Every single one of Class 1’s twelve students had purchased... All had gone for Noble Premium so there was 216,000 IP already in his account from twelve people alone.

’Okay... nice nice.’ He minimized the Class 1 tab and clicked on Class 2.

Class 2 had 25 students and 18 buyers, which was expected... the site had only been live for five days and distrust was natural early on.

Once the mid-term week arrived and the first paper dropped and matched exactly, the remaining holdouts across every class would flood in.

Then the final exams wave on top of that.

’Suddenly the day’s looking a bit brighter. I feel energized enough to go check on Mable.’

Regardless of having only just met her today, he still had to take his responsibility as a father seriously.

Koya slowly got out of the bed and stretched, joints cracking, then looked down at his patient’s gown.

"Where are my clothes?" He opened the closet which was empty, it was a guest room so of course none of his clothes were here. "Alright, come on Riffi, let’s go."

The cat followed him out of the room.

Now that the door was open he could hear the rest of the mansion since the rooms were sound-proof and several maids walked past him in greeting so he stopped one.

"Do you know where the girls are?"

"Master, they went downstairs. The Lady of the House is there for lunch as well." She said and he nodded, letting her scurry off.

"I’m hungry so let’s join them."

Koya finally reached downstairs and arrived at the dining table with all eyes moving over to him at once.

"Papa!" Mable quite literally flew out of Victoria’s arms with her wings spread, and crossed the room and landed in his with perfect aim. "Come feed me."

"B-but I was feeding you..." Victoria pouted.

"Mama Victoria, you can feed me later but like Mama Hakai said, Papa should take responsibility and baby me." Mable said against his shoulder.

"Sure..." Koya sat down at the opposite head chair and Disguise Master went to the kitchen to retrieve food.

Hakai closed the magazine she had been reading while eating and looked at him with a strangely warm smile, he expected her to be even a little bit conflicted but she wasn’t at all.

"Hubby... I’m glad you’re okay. Imagine my surprise when all the other students came back from the Isle but only you remained and not only that, you had damaged some organs pretty severely. We’ve healed you up now." She said and then looked at Mable with an expression that softened noticeably.

"Now do you mind telling us where you got the egg of a Dragon? And how long did you plan to keep her a secret from all of us?... You won’t get any kisses from me until you do."

She pouted.

They were married and though she didn’t show it outwardly, she had been quietly juggling several things at once but the main thing was that she was extensively working to develop his genetics by pushing him to near death, which had already shown real results.

He was considerably stronger now than before the Isle.

She had been debating whether to orchestrate some additional chaos to access the true secret of the Isle itself which was something she had been going back and forth on for a while before deciding to act.

But at the end of the day Koya could now use Frame Skip, which meant there was a genuine chance it could be passed down to their children so she did it and couldn’t wait to see the new power he had in action.

She was also making an effort to be an understanding wife, which was genuinely a work in progress and she had to admit she was growing fond of Mable. Despite supposedly being a prideful Dragon, the girl was a klutz though she would need to burn that since she was going to be an admin of the Order.
