The King of Greed is one of The Seven Archdemons. Previously, during the invasion of The Second World, everyone in the world saw his humanoid form. Now, the Guardian of this Fifth Level looks exactly the same as the King of Greed!

Why would the King of Greed appear in Purgatory?

Abigail paused, then continued, "During the Eternal Era, a Starry Behemoth mutated. It did not die but instead lived on, becoming one of the renowned The Seven Archdemons—the King of Greed. It did not die and logically should not produce a new individual. However, it violated the Race’s rules and produced a new Starry Behemoth. "I must say, you are well-versed in my background!" The Greedy Demon Body laughed and then shook his head. "However, you made one mistake. I did not have a heart before, but just now, I have a heart! I have become a complete Starry Behemoth!"

"What? You’ve acquired the Greed Heart?! Then you might now be a Mortal God!" Abigail exclaimed in shock!

He turned to look at everyone, solemnly saying, "The true power of the King of Greed lies in his heart, known as the Greed Heart, which can automatically absorb all forms of Energy, transforming it into Divine Power. There are three in total! Even an ordinary person with no Combat power, if they obtain one Greed Heart, can easily advance to the level of a Divine Domain. If a Demigod Expert obtains a Greed Heart, they can soon become a top-level Demigod, transforming into a Void God. Since the Greedy Demon Body was once the King of Greed, if he acquires the same Greed Heart, he likely has become a Mortal God."
