Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method-Chapter 476: Family Reunion Gone Wrong
All of them finally arrived at the main hall of the Draconia Palace.
The moment they stepped inside, they saw that someone was already waiting.
It was Darius Draconia, the current patriarch of the Draconia Clan and Dahlia’s father.
He stood at the center of the hall, his posture firm, his presence heavy.
The moment he saw Pelion and Garion entering together, his expression darkened instantly.
His brows pulled together, his jaw tightening. "Pelion..."
His voice was low but sharp. "What is the meaning of this?"
Pelion simply smiled, stepping forward as if nothing serious was happening.
He gestured casually between himself and Garion. "This?"
His tone stayed relaxed. "I’m just here to watch. Garion and the others are spectators as well."
He shrugged lightly. "You know... spectators can sit in the same place, right? This isn’t any different."
Darius’ eyes narrowed further. "...What exactly are you trying to say?"
Pelion didn’t change his expression. "I said what I meant."
He tilted his head slightly. "I’m here to watch you fight."
A short pause. "I want to see if you’re actually qualified to stay with Black Chimera."
Darius frowned, his anger rising. "Just say you don’t like me, Pelion."
His voice sharpened. "You were the one who invited me in the first place. That already proves I’m qualified."
He stepped forward slightly. "This is just your personal bias, isn’t it?"
Pelion shrugged. "Maybe."
He didn’t deny it. "But we can talk about that later..."
His eyes shifted slightly toward Dahlia. "...if you win."
He stepped aside without saying anything more.
At the same time, Dahlia moved forward.
She walked past Garion without hesitation and stopped directly in front of Darius.
The moment Darius saw her clearly... His anger exploded. "Dahlia..."
His voice trembled slightly, filled with rage. "How dare you come back here?"
He pointed at her with a shaking finger. "You ungrateful bastard of a daughter."
His breathing grew heavier. "You’re just like your mother."
His eyes were filled with hatred. "The one who smeared the name of the Draconia Clan."
His voice rose. "You should have died with her."
Dahlia looked at him for a second. Then she snorted. "Smear the family name?"
She shook her head slightly. "No... you’re the one who did that, Darius."
Her voice stayed steady. "With my talent, Draconia should have risen even higher."
She took a small step forward. "But you..."
Her eyes hardened. "...just because my mother wasn’t a ’pure’ Draconia..."
Her voice dropped slightly. "You killed her."
Darius froze for a moment, clearly caught off guard.
Dahlia nodded. "Yeah. I know."
Her tone didn’t waver. "It wasn’t your other wives."
She looked straight at him. "It was you."
A short silence followed.
Darius’ expression shifted, but he didn’t speak.
Dahlia continued. "So in the end..."
She let out a quiet breath. "You’re the one who drove me away."
Her voice grew firmer. "The one who forced your own genius daughter to leave."
She lifted her chin slightly. "The one who could have made this clan truly glorious."
Her eyes didn’t leave his. "All because of your pride in ’pure Draconia blood.’"
She paused. Then her tone changed slightly. "So now I’m back."
She spread her hand slightly. "To destroy everything this clan stands for."
A brief pause.
Then she added, "But don’t worry, Father."
Her lips curved faintly. "After I tear it all down... I’ll rebuild it."
Her gaze sharpened. "And I’ll make it better than what you turned it into."
Darius’ expression twisted with anger. "How dare you..."
His voice rose again. "You stupid girl."
He took a step forward. "I’ll kill you right here and now."
Dahlia smirked. "Go ahead."
She lifted her hand slightly, ready. "Let’s see if you can."
Her eyes locked onto his. "...Father."
Darius’ expression twisted as his aura exploded outward, cracking the floor and walls of the hall.
Then... from behind him, a massive red dragon appeared.
Its body was covered in darkened red scales, and veins of black energy ran across its surface like cracks.
The presence it gave off was unstable... but powerful.
This was a demonic red dragon, altered by the Black Chimera.
Even though it had become wilder, almost mindless, its strength had risen to another level.
Darius raised his arms slightly, his eyes fixed on Dahlia. "Let me show you..."
His voice was low, filled with anger. "The strength I gained because of you."
Without hesitation, he leapt toward the dragon.
The fusion began immediately.
His body merged with it, energy surging as the form shifted.
When it settled... Darius stood there as a humanoid chimera of Demonic Red Dragon.
His body had grown larger, covered in dark red scales.
Horns curved from his head, wings spread behind him, and his presence felt far heavier than before.
The air itself seemed to press down under his aura.
Pelion watched, clearly surprised. "...Wow."
He let out a quiet breath. "I didn’t expect him to reach that level so quickly."
Garion glanced at him briefly. "Already?"
His tone stayed calm. "What do you mean by that?"
Pelion turned his head slightly. "...Right. You don’t know our cultivation path."
Garion didn’t take his eyes off Darius. "Then explain it. Just the basic."
Pelion thought for a moment. "...Fine."
He crossed his arms loosely. "But we trade. I tell you ours, and you tell me yours."
Garion nodded once. "Sure... but later... Dahlia was about to transform. You can’t miss any of this."
At the same time... Dahlia stepped forward.
She rolled her shoulders once, looking up at Darius’ new form. "...So. Fusion, huh."
Her lips curved slightly. "But you’re not the only one who can become a dragon."
She lifted her hand slightly. "I can too."
A short pause. "And I don’t even need to fuse."
[Sky Dragon Transformation]
Azure scales formed across her body, spreading smoothly over her skin.
Her arms shifted into clawed forms, horns grew from her head, and wings unfolded behind her back.
A tail extended, moving slightly with controlled balance.
Her transformation completed in seconds.
Dahlia stood there as a humanoid Sky Dragon.
Her aura stabilized instantly, clear and controlled, far more refined than Darius’.
She looked at him directly. "...Let’s see whose is better."
