Her Dark Desires-Chapter 91: Rosehill Favorite Model

Rosehill City Police Station.

"How is it possible that a woman who has no money has been able to hide from the police for this long." Bryce complained angrily.

Leon who had his eyes closed replied "Someone must be helping her." He opened his eyes and continued "I have no doubt that it was Helina who stabbed Jason but what I want to know is, why?"

"That will be difficult to know if we don’t find her." Bryce said, he was already getting frustrated especially with the Lennox family at their throat asking for the one who had tried to murder their son.

Leon looked at Bryce and replied "Not really."

"What do you mean?"

"A year ago, Helina filed a case of her husband missing and no one actually paid attention to her because they felt the man must have ran away with another woman. I digged a little on her husband and found that the last day he was caught on any camera was July 13th and that day, he had been seen to carry only one passenger."

"Do you know who the passenger is?"

"Eliana Sanders. Strange thing is, after that day he was never seem again and when Helina came to complain about her husband disappearance, the police didn’t give a damn."

"Wait, this means, the person Helina is after is actually Eliana? Does she think Eliana have something to do with her husband disappearance?"

Leon nodded "That also explains why Jason mentioned Eliana name. He must have somehow found out about Helina plan and perhaps out of panic, she stabbed Jason. Also, I found out Helina daughter died seven months ago and she claimed a fifteen thousand dollars insurance from the girl death but squandered everything on clothes, drinks and drugs."

"But she has another daughter, right?"

"Yes and that one is currently in an expensive private school and there is no way a reckless drug addict like Helina will be capable of putting her child in such a school. Someone is behind her, but who?"

"Before we think of who is behind her, we should try to stop her from harming Rosehill favorite model."

"Favorite model?" Leon asked with a frown.

Seeing the confused look on Leon face, Bryce sighed and said "I almost forgot that you don’t watch the entertainment segment of TV. Eliana Sanders is considered the number one top model in Rosehill city and as if that is not enough, her husband built a shopping mall for her and gave her the capital for her to start her clothing line and in less than a month, her clothes were sold out and that shopping mall has currently entered the top 5 best mall in the country. People say, Eliana Sanders is quickly making her way in entering the list of the top ten richest women in this country."

Leon scoffed and muttered "No wonder she said he was a prince charming." He looked at Bryce and asked "Any haters?"

"Is there a celebrity that doesn’t have haters? You should see the hateful comments about her. Some say she isn’t that pretty and should focus on her home while most hateful comments accused her of using her husband to be where she is and that she is nothing without Zachary Sanders."

"You seem quite invested in her life." Leon said with a frown.

Bryce only smiled and replied "You also seem interested in her, but let’s not forget that she is married."

"I don’t care about her and anyway there is no need for us to stop her from harming Eliana because she won’t."

"She won’t? Her stabbing Jason is a clear indication that she will harm Eliana, especially if she blames her for her husband disappearance."

"Helina doesn’t care about her husband, if she did then her neighbor wouldn’t have accused her of being with another man just a week after her husband disappearance. After finding out she claimed her daughter’s life insurance, I checked on Edward to see if he had any insurance to his name and he did."

"How much."

"Seven thousand, courtesy of his parents before they cut him out of their life. My point is Helina is only after money and if Eliana is truly behind the disappearance of Edward then she won’t hesitate to pay Helina out of their life."

"Wow. This is getting more complicated than I thought."

"Keep an eye on Eliana account, if any huge transaction is made to a an account that has Helina name on it, then call her in for questioning."

"Are you sure about that? Doing so will be making an enemy out of the Sanders family and chief seems quite fearful of them."

"Nobody is above the law, Bryce, not even a Sanders."

"Of course. Her account will be monitor from now on." Bryce replied and checked his watch "Shoot, I have to go pick up Belle from school. By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask you if something happened the day you took her to the park?"

"Something like what?"

"I don’t know. For some reason she no longer like watching her favorite cartoon." Bryce said, wondering why his daughter suddenly hates watching her favorite Beauty and the Beast.

Leon shrugged and replied "How should I know what is wrong with her? Maybe she has outgrown watching beauty and beast. Kids change their mind all the time."

"You are right, now I have to find something else to keep her busy while I work." Bryce sighed and decided to brainstorm on what to keep his daughter busy as he left to go pick her up.

Leon on the other hand look through all the information he has gotten on Helina and said to himself ’Even if you wanted money, there must be someone else who was capable of getting you to that party and it must also be someone who hates Eliana. Who could that be? Who hates you to the point of wanting you dead, Eliana? And did you really have a hand in the disappearance of Edward? Why is there so much question mark around you and why do I feel the urge to find an answer to them all.’
