Her Dark Desires-Chapter 66: Perfect Time For Amber’s Ruination

Amber excitement could not be hidden as she tried on her wedding gown.

"How do I look?" Amber turned to look at the man who she was going to wed in less than a week.

Amber frowned when Jason showed no interest in looking at her and was instead watching a video on his phone. She snatched his phone away from him in anger and scoffed when she saw that the video he was watching was Eliana’s latest show in Banos.

"Give me back my phone, Amber," Jason said and snatched back his phone from her. He wouldn’t be here if not for his father, who forced him, saying it was a must for him to see Amber in her wedding gown.

"Do you love her that much? Are you hoping that a day will come when the two of you are together?" Amber asked in anger, and when Jason didn’t reply to her, she sneered, "Just how delusional are you? Do you think she will leave a man like Zach for you? You are so pathetic."

"Am I? At least I’m better than you. You lied that you were on birth control so that you could bear my child and force me to marry you. You are a disgrace to all women all over the world, you are just like your mother, a lowly slut." Jason said and gave the sales girl his credit card. "Use this to pay for whatever she buys; I’m out of here."

The sales girl looked at Amber with pity in her eyes and slowly excused herself as Amber began crying.

"Leo, catch!" Eliana shouted as she threw a ball and laughed when Leo ran to fetch it.

A few seconds later, Leo ran back to her with the little ball in his mouth while wagging his tail.

Eliana collected the ball and kissed him on his forehead. "You are such a good boy."

Leo licked her face in response to her affection, causing Eliana to giggle.

"Today is going to be a great day and you know why?"

The dog said nothing and just looked at her to continue, which she did.

"Today is Amber’s and Jason’s wedding day. Do you know why I waited for today to stop the wedding? It is because Amber woke up today feeling excited to become the Lenox family daughter-in-law, but as she walked down the aisle, thinking that it remains only a few minutes before the achievement of her dreams, I will be ready to snatch it from her. Timing is everything, Leo. I waited till this day because I realize, this exact time is the perfect time for Amber’s ruination."

Leo barked softly in response causing Eliana to laugh.

"You are so cute. My cute little Leo."

Unlike the first time he was found on the street by Eliana, Leo was no longer the slim and malnourished dog. After living with both Zach and Eliana for three weeks, Leo was now a healthy-looking dog.

"Time to take a bath." Eliana could swear that Leo could hear her because that had to be the only explanation for the dog running away immediately after she mentioned a bath.

"Good thing I know all your hiding places," Eliana said as she began her search for the dog who didn’t want to bathe.

Amber and Jason’s wedding was held at the Vinos event hall. Although Amber wanted her wedding at Gardenia Castle but she was told that they were fully booked and couldn’t take in a wedding at the moment.

"You look perfect," Sloane said to her daughter.

Amber smiled and held Sloane’s hands, saying, "I know I’m not your biological daughter, but you have always cared for me and loved me. Thank you for being my Mom."

Sloane laughed softly "You are my daughter. If I don’t love you, then who will? I know you still have your obsession with Zach, so if everything goes well, you will be his wife before the next new year."

"Really?" Amber asked excitedly. All she just wanted was Zach. She didn’t care if he loved her or not, she just wanted him. She wanted to fulfill his night pleasures and for her belly to swell with his child. She wanted the world to know her as Mrs. Sanders, but for now, she will settle for Jason; he is, after all, better than that old pig.

Sloane covered her daughter’s veil and said, "Your dad is just outside. He is ready to give you away."

Amber nodded and took in a deep breath before going outside to meet her father.

Outside of the venue, where guests were already seated, Eliana and her mother-in-law, who decided to attend the wedding at the last minute, sat in the front row because Cecilia saw Charlotte as an honored guest.

Jason occasionally glanced at Eliana and even though he thought he wasn’t being obvious, Charlotte noticed him and frowned.

The wedding song immediately began playing as Amber stepped into the hall with her father beside her, and everyone stood, everyone except for Eliana and Charlotte, who kept looking at her watch as if she couldn’t wait to leave.

Even though Cecilia was upset about their rudeness, she knew she couldn’t say anything about it.

The moment Henry handed his daughter over to Jason, everyone’s phone pinged with a notification.

Charlotte noticed the smile on Eliana’s face when she heard the sound, and just then, even her phone made a notification sound.

Before Charlotte opened her phone, she looked around her and saw people whispering and some were even glancing at Amber in disgust.

Charlotte finally opened her phone and pressed the pictures that had been sent to her by her anonymous sender. It was pictures of a guy and Amber entering a hotel and leaving it a few hours later. There were also pictures of Amber and this guy kissing and an audio that before she could play it, someone else beat her to it.

"Amber is my lover, we have been lovers for four years."

And that was the end of the audio; it was obvious it was cut short, but that was the least of Cecilia’s worries. The woman looked at Amber in anger and before anyone could say anything, she slapped her so hard and didn’t wait for Amber to recover before giving her another slap.

"How dare you try to pin your bastard on my son?!"
