Help! the four Alpha's are obsessed with me.-Chapter 196 unexpected behavior
BACK TO PRESENT
They watched Xylander feed Daniel while Dan chatted and laughed happily. He chewed the food gently, his cheeks puffing out cutely.
"You’re so adorable, Daniel. It’s like you get cuter with every passing day. I can’t wait for our New Year celebration together," Xylander said openly.
Daniel nodded with a soft smile.
He wanted them to celebrate outside New York City—somewhere quiet, somewhere peaceful—with family. But it wouldn’t be complete without finding Michael. That was why he was still trying to locate his hiding place before then.
"This food is so sweet. Who made it?" Daniel asked.
Across the table, Draven smiled while turning a dessert plate.
"I can’t take all the credit," Draven said in a flirtatious tone. "It was both me and Xylander. I guess we learned well—all thanks to you, our tutor in the kitchen."
His voice pulled Daniel completely away from the dining room, fading out all reality around him.
In that moment, Daniel saw another world—a place where only the three of them existed. No distractions. No disturbance.
"Daniel, you want to kiss me, right?" Draven smirked.
Daniel nodded without hesitation.
They were doing all this right there at the dining table, in the presence of the entire family.
Mr. and Mrs. Swift watched with irritation and barely concealed disgust written all over their faces.
Lily was gushing silently at how cute they looked, but the moment she caught her grandmother’s glare, she immediately switched her expression to one of disdain.
Angelo showed nothing.
His eyes lingered on them as his mind drifted to the beautiful guy he had met at the hotel. Guilt gnawed at him, stopping him from reaching out to apologize.
What he said back then was horrible—he knew that. But he had lost control. And that kiss... it still replayed in his head. The softness of those lips, the warmth it left in his chest.
Instead of admitting that he loved the taste of another man’s lips, he had turned homophobic—shattering the guy’s feelings right there, even though the kiss had been harmless.
When will I ever have this? Angelo wondered bitterly. If only I could have a moment like this without disappointing anyone... I’d gladly take it.
Then an idea struck him.
Yes. He would message him from another number and try to make things right.
But reality crashed back in.
His family was all over the news. His parents had been arrested. Daniel had stripped them of their luxuries. They now lived like servants—like animals—in their own house.
All because of his despicable father.
With no money and no financial support, how was he supposed to chase the guy he was falling for?
Meanwhile, Mr. Swift couldn’t take it anymore.
The indulgence was sickening. His son had never been like this. How could he sit there and ignore him while openly engaging in such shameful behavior with another man at the dinner table?
"That’s not my son," Mr. Swift muttered furiously. "I will end this. Never in my life will I allow such an abomination in my family."
Behind his wife stood Beatrice, her arms heavily bandaged. They had come with her mother, Lady Bradford—and not only had they disrespected Mr. and Mrs. Swift, but Lady Bradford as well.
"I don’t know what you plan to do," Lady Bradford snapped, "but I hope it’s not what I’m seeing. A man who sucks another man will never marry my daughter. Never!"
Mr. Swift’s blood ran cold.
They couldn’t lose this opportunity—not now. Jail loomed over them, and complete ruin followed closely behind. That wasn’t the life they were meant to live.
So he would fix it.
"I’m going to that table and bring my son back to his senses," he said, his confidence forced, his temperature rising.
Dorothy’s lips curved slightly.
Good. These people would handle the issue. Daniel would be destroyed—ultimately destroyed.
As Daniel laughed at a joke Draven had told, a thought suddenly struck him.
Adrain.
Based on what had happened earlier in his room, Adrain hadn’t looked well at all. His face had gone pale for a reason.
"Where is Adrain?" Daniel asked suddenly. "He’s supposed to be with us at all times."
They all looked around.
"I don’t think he’s anywhere close," Xylander replied.
Daniel frowned slightly but continued munching on his pie.
Then footsteps echoed.
Not one—but several.
Daniel didn’t turn. He kept eating calmly.
Suddenly, a masculine scent flooded his senses—and in the next second, his dessert was snatched and dumped all over his body.
Draven jolted back, his eyes lifting to meet his father’s. His throat tightened.
"Stop that nonsense!" Xylander roared, standing up and shoving the man away from Daniel. "How dare you touch my husband!"
Daniel was soaked, sticky, and stunned.
"What audacity do you have to touch my hubby?" Xylander snarled.
Mr. Swift laughed.
"Your hubby?" he scoffed. "A billionaire, young, handsome man like you—meant to build a family with a woman—and what did you do? You followed a man. For what? For dick? Is that how you were trained?"
His voice rose dangerously.
"Oh wait," he sneered. "Wasn’t your father the same cock sucker who killed himself years ago? Guess he finally realized how disgusting he was."
That was it.
Xylander’s eyes turned red.
Memories flooded him violently, forcing him to stagger back.
"You see? Reflect on your actions," Mr. Swift continued. "It’s hell for you, son of Jezebel—"
Smack.
Daniel snapped.
He swung his hand, slapping Mr. Swift so hard the man spun around and nearly collapsed.
Daniel stepped closer, teeth gnashing.
"You walking corpse," Daniel hissed. "You dare insult my husband? You’ll pay the price, you rotten egg."
Another slap landed.
Mr. Swift crumpled.
Daniel raised his hand again—but Draven rushed forward, grabbing his wrist mid-air.
"Draven!" Daniel snapped. "What the fuck are you doing? That’s your father—"
He stopped.
Draven’s face was unreadable. Sad. Heavy.
"Yes," Draven said quietly. "He’s my father. And you still have to respect that." 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
Daniel lost it.
He looked at Mr. and Mrs. Swift—and saw the triumphant glances they exchanged. Beatrice stood there, injured arm clutched to her chest, grinning like a madwoman.
Lady Bradford stood with arms akimbo, clearly enjoying the chaos.
"You’re not in your right senses, Daniel," Draven continued. "No matter what, he’s my father. I won’t tolerate that."
Xylander was stunned. His jaw dropped.
"So... thanks, son," Mr. Swift croaked, hugging Draven tightly.
"I miss you. Now I can fix all my mistakes," he said smugly. "Including this disgusting marriage."
He pulled out papers.
"Draven, this is a divorce document. You and Daniel will sign it—now. And you’ll marry Beatrice."
The bomb exploded.
Daniel’s breath hitched.
He had married Xylander first. Later, after everything, he married Alexander and Draven. Only the four of them—and Charles and Ruth—knew.
So how?
"Draven," Daniel said slowly, rage bubbling, "is this some kind of joke? Because I’m not laughing."
Dorothy smiled in satisfaction and raised her middle finger subtly.
"You’re over, Daniel," she whispered. "This is the beginning of your destruction. Hope you liked my present."
