Help! My Male Employees Are Having Babies!-Chapter 157: Makeover Mayhem at Sonja’s
Zack was sitting out front in the swing when Doug walked up. Doug explained his dilemma to Zack and how he felt about young Richie and how he definitely needed to make a good impression upon his family.
Zack took his phone out and keyed in a few digits. He spoke to someone online. "I’ll see you at 7:30 in the morning sharp," he said. "I knew I could count on you to make it special."
No sooner than he hung up the phone, he punched some more numbers. "Ty, I need to be in town tomorrow morning at 7:30 sharp at Sonja’s place and you’re driving," he said. "I’ve got a special case headed that way. Love you, boy. Goodbye."
"Doug, be here first thing in the morning, 7 AM sharp—not one second late or there will be hell to pay."
"Yes, sir, I’ll be here 7 AM sharp. You can count on me," Doug replied. "And Sir, thank you so very much for everything you do for us here on this ranch."
Zack bid him goodbye and Doug went home whistling all the way.
---
Doug’s hair was still wet when he showed up at 7 AM to meet Mr. Zack—he was fresh out of the shower, in other words.
Zack looked at Doug from top to bottom and around the sides. "You sure you want to do this, young man? Even though he’s fresh transitioned, he’s already been used beforehand."
"Mr. Zack, everyone has some extra baggage somewhere in their life—no one’s perfect," Doug said. "But when I get near him, I have to hold myself back. I’ve had urges before but never like the ones I have when I’m near Richie. I know I’m older than him—in human years five years isn’t much, but in Genmen that can be two generations. Yesterday before he invited me for a meal and ice cream at 12 noon, he turned around and kissed me on my lips. I almost lost myself. The feeling inside—it’s never been this strong."
"Well young man, that’s because it sounds like you two are intended to be with one another," Zack said. "I don’t like this ’Wham Bam, watch out here comes little Sam and U-Haul your ass.’ He’s had enough loss in his life with his dad skipping out, leaving his older brother to attend to the three younger ones. Rusty the baby was only hours old when it happened, so I’m telling you right now—don’t break Richie’s heart."
"You know my story, Mr. Zack. I wouldn’t break anybody’s heart and I would never do to him what was done to me."
"Okay, Ty’s here and we got a trip to make to Sonja’s. Can’t have you this way because she’s got some work to do on you."
"Mr. Zack, I can’t afford a lot of clothes—just maybe some pants and a nice pullover shirt, something that shows that I am built. I’m not a dumpy old man."
"Okay Doug, we’ll work on it. Don’t worry, Sonja will fix you right up," Zack assured him. "First thing she’s going to want to do is a little reconstruction work. I know she’s going to work on your hands and your nails, get them looking proper—not all calloused up. Then that mop you got up there, it’s going to have to be trimmed. It’s going to be close, but you will make it for your 12 o’clock date."
The three tore out of the driveway headed to town, or at least the little community next door where Sonja’s shop was located.
---
Zack walked in the door and he was greeted with a hug. "Hey my grandfather, I hope you brought me a difficult case this morning so early—I need a challenge." Sonja looked in the direction where Zack pointed her, toward Doug who stood there at the entrance of the shop.
"I got to say, damn—where do you find all these good-looking feral men to bring to my shop? They don’t fall out of trees and you know that," she said, examining Doug. "With something like this here to work with, it will be a masterpiece when I’m finished."
"So tell me, what’s your name, young man? And don’t be shy because I will see you all the way down to your bare nothings before I’m through," Sonja said matter-of-factly. "Start by taking that raggedy shirt off. You can take it home and use it for a dust cloth, but it does not touch your body after I’m finished today."
Doug pulled his shirt off and told Miss Sonja his name.
Sonja went all over his back and all over his sides, looking at him and examining him. "I see that you have a mark of pride about you," she observed. "The one that you carried must’ve been quite large and you were very young."
Doug was embarrassed and tried to cover up his stretch marks on his side.
"Baby, do not cover up your pride marks," Sonja said, placing her hand on top of his. "Genmen are a proud race for what they can do that no other race around here can do. Must not have been a happy carry, but wear your marks of pride well. Come on back, I will wash your hair and we can discuss the matter. So tell me, this time, young man—are you going to get big again or are you going to make him your big one?"
Doug smiled sheepishly. "After a proper amount of time, he will do me the honor," he said. "I want him to carry my child. You’re right—the first time it was not a good time. My son never forgave me for not loving him like a dad could or should because it wasn’t by my choice that he was conceived. Every child is a blessing, but he couldn’t help that he looked at me with his father’s eyes. He knew that I was just there because it was responsibility and duty, but we didn’t have a bond."
"The main thing, Doug, is that you stayed by his side—you were there when you were needed," Sonja said gently. "I imagine you wiped snotty noses, dirty butts, and made sure that there was a warm meal in his stomach so that he could grow strong. You could’ve done like a lot of them—push them out the door to someone else, let them be the problem. He chose to only see the bad. One day he will realize that you loved him regardless of the reason he got here. So it’s time I clip your hair and make you irresistible to your new man."
---
At 11 o’clock Doug was ready—he was a hunk. Sonja had outdone herself once again. If Richie didn’t go for him, then plenty of men at the ranch would be willing and able to bend over to carry his children. And Zack knew it very well—he even caught Ty’s eye, but Sonja stopped that really quick.
"Zachary Ty Spinelli, you watch your eyes!" she warned. "Yes, he is beautiful, but this here is the real beauty in your life. Don’t think I’ll give up without a fight for my man. And no, I will not go after him—I will take you down and beat your ass in front of the world."
"And that, Sonja, is the reason I love you so much," Ty said with a grin. "I can’t wait until the day comes when we can be together. We might have little pitter-patter of feet, and then again, we might just have to adopt."
Ty leaned over and kissed Sonja goodbye. "I’ll see you this evening if my grandfather will loan me the runner," he told her. "I want to show you a spot for our home."
"I will be waiting for you, my love—I will be waiting," Sonja replied. "Now off, you three—he’s got a hot date. He needs to make sure that his young man does not get away and get snatched up by anybody else."
