Heavenly Dragon Doctor Son-in-Law-Chapter 176 - 177: Qin Long’s Ruthless Move!
His right palm struck out, instantly shattering the right leg of the man wielding the iron chain. Just as he was about to let out an agonized scream, Qin Long covered his mouth. Qin Long moved so fast the man had no time to react. In an instant, his overwhelming power had taken down more than twenty people.
"Call Brother Wolf! This guy’s a master!" the remaining seven or eight burly men shouted, staring at Qin Long and trembling.
Only then did Tang Xuewu stealthily lift her head from Qin Long’s back, her lovely eyes filled with confusion as she gazed at him.
She couldn’t imagine how Qin Long, who needed a crutch to walk, could be so strong. If his right leg were healed, wouldn’t he kill these people in seconds? That day at the Milky Way, he had only fought a single subordinate of Yan Hong’s, and even then, it had been a surprise attack. But now, he was facing dozens of men armed with wooden clubs and iron chains! Could Qin Long really withstand their charge all by himself?
For a moment, the scene fell deathly silent. Those same brutes, so arrogant just moments before, now looked at Qin Long in terror.
Qin Long ignored them and looked tenderly at Tang Xuewu. "As long as I’m here, no one will dare to hurt you."
He gently smoothed Tang Xuewu’s hair, his face full of adoration. It was as if this mob of thugs wasn’t even there.
"I’m fine..." Tang Xuewu murmured, her cheeks flushing at Qin Long’s direct words.
"Kid, think you’re tough?" At that moment, a middle-aged man wearing a wolf-head cap slowly stepped out of a nearby car. He wore a pitch-black gauntlet that looked rather intimidating. Upon seeing him, the brutes immediately regained their composure.
The remaining seven or eight men once again swung their wooden clubs and charged at Qin Long. Despite having witnessed his strength, they still saw him as a disabled man.
They refused to believe that over thirty men couldn’t take down a single cripple on a crutch.
But they were truly no match for him.
The flurry of clubs came down like a torrential storm, slicing through the air with a whistling sound like the roar of an enraged lion.
Even under Qin Long’s protection, Tang Xuewu felt her heart pound. The pressure on Qin Long must be so much greater...
Obediently, Tang Xuewu closed her eyes and nestled against Qin Long’s back. Yet, a part of her urged her to open them, wanting to face this ordeal with him.
BANG!
Qin Long swung his crutch upward, instantly halting the offensive. Then, he swung it fiercely, sending seven or eight wooden clubs flying away.
BANG! BANG!
The strength was astonishing, the speed blinding. The force of the swing sent the seven or eight brutes stumbling backward. Seizing the opportunity, Qin Long swung his crutch again. In a flash, three quick blows knocked three men unconscious. His proficient combat skills left them aghast. A second later, the remaining six men retreated in fear. The immense force of the blows left their bodies reeling, their blood churning within them.
"Go for the woman!" Brother Wolf yelled, pointing fiercely at Tang Xuewu while clutching his gleaming gauntlet. "She’s his weak spot!"
"Shameless!" Qin Long let out a cold snarl. An intense murderous aura exploded from him as he attacked with his full strength this time.
BOOM!
A wooden club shot like lightning toward the man in the wolf-head cap. The man raised his pitch-black gauntlet to defend himself, but his defense was instantly torn apart, his hand bones crushed.
CRACK!
Brother Wolf’s body was sent flying, smashing violently into the high wall behind him and embedding itself within it. The three-meter-high wall immediately spiderwebbed with cracks. The remaining thugs who had been ready to attack froze, dumbstruck and trembling with fear.
PFFT!
Brother Wolf coughed up a large mouthful of fresh blood. The clothes on his chest had burst open, and he looked to be on his last breath.
The others stared, their mouths agape. He had been pinned to the wall by a single club!
What kind of monstrous strength is that? It’s godlike! He’s a devil!
The remaining men trembled uncontrollably, their faces masks of terror. Fear. Absolute terror. Qin Long’s power was simply horrifying.
Tang Xuewu’s beautiful eyes, however, held a mixture of caution and excitement as she carefully watched Qin Long’s face. As the old saying goes, beauties have always been drawn to heroes. Qin Long’s strength filled her with a sudden surge of confidence.
A single man defeating more than thirty thugs... a scene from a TV show was happening right in front of her. A-Long didn’t lie to me. He can protect me, and I can take care of him...
Tang Xuewu now gazed at Qin Long like a starstruck fan.
"If you’re not afraid to die, then come on," Qin Long said calmly, his eyes sweeping over the men. He had never considered this group of thugs a threat. Back in his days as the Heavenly Dragon, he led the million-strong Heavenly Dragon Army, fighting the enemy for ten days and ten nights until the sun and moon grew dim and the world went dark. What hadn’t he seen? Mages of immense strength, Poison Masters with unique skills. These thirty-odd mere thugs weren’t even worth mentioning.
At his words, no one dared to respond. Even their leader, Brother Wolf, had been beaten half to death, his fate uncertain. They knew they were no match for Qin Long. In contrast, Qin Long appeared completely at ease. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢
"You really thought you could claim that five-million reward? Go back and train for another fifty years. Don’t come out here and embarrass yourselves!"
Qin Long’s voice was soft, yet it detonated in the hearts of the remaining thugs. Cold sweat drenched their backs, and their bodies quaked.
He turned his gaze to the man with the shattered legs, who was still conscious, and demanded coldly, "Who wanted my other leg?"
"Speak, and I might let you live."
He didn’t care about these thugs, but since they posed a threat to Tang Xuewu, he had to investigate thoroughly and root out this cancer. Xuewu doesn’t know any martial arts and has to work every day. I can’t be there to protect her all the time.
The man with the iron chain looked up at Qin Long, his face a mixture of pain and terror.
"Speak, or die!"
Qin Long’s icy voice sent a chill down everyone’s spine. If he didn’t tell Qin Long, he might not leave this place alive today.
The man clenched his teeth and stammered, "It was Mr. Han."
"Which Mr. Han?" Qin Long’s brow furrowed as he questioned him sharply.
Enduring the searing pain in his thigh, the man explained, "Han Bing’s foster father, Han Tao!"
Hearing the name, Qin Long finally understood. It was Han Bing’s foster father, the man he had met at Zhou Hongying’s place. Han Tao had been relentlessly trying to force the password to Han Bing’s safe deposit box out of him. Later, he had plotted for Zhou Hongying to deal with him secretly. It was only because of the timely arrival of Wu Mulan from the River Surveillance Division that she had stopped. After he left safely, Zhou Hongying had even gifted him several sturgeons.
Qin Long had never dreamed that Han Tao would still refuse to let the matter go, especially after Zhou Hongying had made her position so perfectly clear.
That Han Tao is a real fool.
"Since you seek death, I will grant it," Qin Long declared, his cold gaze sweeping over them. "Go back and tell him I’ll personally see him on his way."
The man with the iron chain and the remaining thugs all nodded furiously. They scrambled to pick up their wounded and fled the scene.
