Heaven, Earth, Me-Chapter 1495. Trial Reward.
After the last roar, Yasenia felt satisfied and refreshed. She allowed gravity to slowly pull her frontal legs down, landing a few seconds later and creating a large tremor on the land.
It looked quite comical when only gravity worked to pull Yasenia down, because, at her enormous height, the pitiful pull of gravity couldn’t accelerate her much.
After landing, her wings were folded on her back as she waited for the trial to dish out her rewards. ‘I heard that this thing can help improve bloodline. I hope I can advance from low-level Immortal Bloodline to mid-level!’
A few seconds later, a flow of energy manifested in the middle of the arena. The red flow moved like a water dragon, colliding into Yasenia’s chest and sinking inside.
The second she absorbed it, her meridians got to work, slurping everything and sending it toward her Dantian to be purified by the [Primordial Energy Core].
Once there, the black, pulsing core absorbed everything and refined it inside.
Everyone waited patiently, thinking that there would be tremendous changes on Yasenia after absorbing the blood. However, even after a few minutes and Yasenia lying down, nothing happened.
Ao Xianlan was puzzled and carefully flew down. “Yasenia, what’s wrong?”
Yasenia blinked her golden eyes, looking up with an equally puzzled look. “Nothing’s wrong. Why?”
“Then… why is there no reaction from the blessing?”
Yasenia realized and smiled. “Aunty Xianlan, I am refining it and purifying it. It might take an hour or two. The volume of energy is quite thick.”
“Refine?” Ao Xianlan was confused again. “Don’t you need to merge it with your own blood?”
Yasenia shook her head. “Why would I damage the purity of my blood? What I want is not the dragon blood, but the bloodline energy inside. With that energy, I will push my own blood further.”
Ancestor Ji also descended, his body shrinking to become comparable to Yasenia’s. “Junior, I don’t recommend that.”
Yasenia looked at the black dragon, curious. “Why do you say so, Ancestor Ji?”
Ancestor Ji nodded and spoke. “It’s like this. While I don’t really know the potential of your own bloodline, the one you are receiving is from a Dragon that most likely reached the peak of the Seventh Realm, or even surpassed it. It is ancient dragon blood, which will nourish your own bloodline by merging with it.”
Yasenia smiled. “Thank you for your advice, Senior. However, I have a question.”
Ancestor Ji encouraged Yasenia with his eyes.
Yasenia smiled. “As you said, senior, you are unaware of my bloodline’s potential. What if my bloodline surpasses it? This blood will only cause impurities within me and cause trouble when I try to push further down the line.”
Ancestor Ji frowned. Clearly, this junior dragon had a lot of potential. At this moment, a giant shadow descended from the sky. The strength of this creature was no less than any of the four Dragon Ancestors.
While everyone tensed up, Yasenia and Ao Xianlan were relaxed. The ashen abyssal dragon landed powerfully by Yasenia’s side, its cracked scales glowing with hellish red light.
“Who are you?”
The dragon’s deep and rumbling voice spread out, sounding ancient and timeless. “My past name… I’ve long forgotten it. I was once reborn and named Tian Long. I am Lady Death Empress’s mount.”
“Mount?”
The pupils of most dragons constricted for a second. Being a mount was, more often than not, considered a humiliation. Still, seeing Tian Long not show a single hint of negative emotion, they knew that this Dragon wholly submitted to his current master.
Tatyana also appeared in the field, steadily landing on Yasenia’s snout. Yasenia’s golden eyes focused, making her look cross-eyed and quite adorable. “Mom, what do you think I should do?”
Tatyana turned, her eyes amused at Yasenia’s current look as she tried to look at her. “Do as you please, Little Treasure. I summoned Tian Long to ask him, and he already told me that there is no problem with what you are doing.”
Tian Long agreed. “Little Princess, your bloodline is first and unique. The best way to develop a progenitor bloodline is to keep it as pure as possible. More so, one as high quality as your own.”
Yasenia smiled at Tian Long. “I will follow Uncle Long’s advice. Oh? The first batch of energy is refined. Let me absorb it.”
Ao Xianlan and Tian Long moved to her side, Tatyana sitting on Yasenia’s head cross-legged. Clearly, these three had moved to protect her and ensure no one interrupted.
The three Dragon Ancestors naturally knew and also moved closer, shrinking their bodies to Yasenia’s size.
A moment later, Yasenia felt the strands of extremely pure bloodline energy and moved them from her meridians into her bloodstream. These streams were incredibly nourishing, making her cells dance with joy as they suckled the energy ravenously.
The stream continued through her complex circulatory system, and soon, it arrived at her heart.
THUMP-THUMP!
A powerful and sudden heartbeat echoed out, striking the ears of everyone present. Yasenia closed her eyes, sensing the changes as her heart moved the bloodline energy all around her body, absorbing part of it itself.
As the energy moved, Yasenia circulated all her cultivation methods at once, and she noticed her beast core and body cultivation resonating the strongest.
Each passing second, Yasenia’s already powerful body was further refined, the energy seeping into her bones and nourishing the marrow.
As the marrow in her bones evolved, it produced new, stronger blood. This blood merged into the bloodstream, resonated with the old blood, and slowly elevated it to the new heights.
The process was not violent.
The new blood, stronger and more refined, seeped into her viscera, changing them to a fundamental level. Moreover, part of the energy also moved toward her soul and spirit.
The time Yasenia initially calculated would take a few hours stretched out. The stream of energy flowing out of the [Primordial Energy Core] was constant and seemingly endless.
No one left, mesmerized by Yasenia’s changes. Her aura, which was already overbearing, was gaining a touch of profundity.
‘I… don’t seem to have enough energy to push me out of the low-level Immortal Bloodline realm.’ Yasenia silently pondered. ‘It seems that each step from now is as vast as the starry sky. I won’t be able to soar as quickly as I have in terms of bloodline level.’
As she pondered, she felt a trace of the energy that reached her womb mix into the placenta, very gently and soothingly nourishing the life inside.
‘Oh my… Baby will be quite strong in the future.’ Yasenia chuckled. While her child was in her womb, Yasenia had gone through a myriad of experiences, nourished by many treasures. If her child absorbed just a small portion of each…
‘Won’t my baby be born in the Transcendence Realm?’
Her resting tail wagged gently up and down, creating loud thud sounds. Tatyana turned to look, wondering what was making her Little Treasure happy.
After one whole week, the stream of energy finally stopped, and Yasenia digested her full gains.
She opened her golden eyes, a flash of sun-like brilliance flashing within them for a second before calming down. “Indeed. I failed to break through.”
Those words started the seniors. Lady First approached, curious, and asked. “What level is your bloodline, child?”
“Low-level Immortal.” Yasenia didn’t hide it. Ao Xianlan wanted her to show off? She would!
Ancestor Long looked at Yasenia with a complicated expression and asked. “Are you the child of a god or something? How can someone as young as you have such a high-level bloodline? Even children of gods need to slowly improve their bloodline over time so that they don’t receive powerful backlash when they are too weak.”
That’s why, before maturity, any beast’s bloodline would grow in ranks even without swallowing any treasures. Of course, this period was very important, and eating treasures would be much more effective than eating them after growing up.
Even with this knowledge, it was not that easy to nourish. Without an appropriate background, pouring resources into someone whose future potential is unknown is a very big gamble.
Imagine pouring your immortal resources, only to realize that the child’s comprehension is bad in the future, and they can barely reach the Seventh Realm. It would be an absolute loss. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Lady First pondered for a second and asked, curious. “Yasenia, are you willing to give me a drop of your blood?”
“Hm?” Yasenia didn’t jump to glare at Lady First. Instead, she asked, curious. “Why do you want it?”
“I was creating an alchemy pill, and I needed a drop of blood from an immortal bloodline beast. Sadly, those who have it in the Blue Pearl World are not pure, making my pill fail several times.”
Yasenia shrugged. Since this person was her master, she didn’t mind. “A single drop? Here.” Yasenia extended her finger and used one of her claws to cut it. A small torrent of blood flowed out before it closed.
The torrent was about 1000 cubic meters of blood, exuding an incredibly pure fragrance.
Some dragons in the distance became restless, their eyes glowing with greed. They knew that if they could lick it, they would gain incredible power.
Lady First smiled and waved her hand. A single drop of blood, not bigger than a nail, separated from the large pool and landed in a glass vial. Then, with a wave of her hand, all the blood Yasenia bled burned, evaporating. “I appreciate it, child. But there are too many dark arts that can use your own blood against you. A single drop suffices.”
Tatyna was curious. “What is the name of the pill, by the way?”
Lady First answered calmly. “[Immortal Dragon Seduction Pill].”
Tatyana pondered and shook her head. She had never heard about it. Lady First chuckled. “It’s a pill to increase one’s charm. I’ve been preparing it to help me further my own charm.”
Yasenia’s eyebrow twitched. ‘More charm?”
Honestly, Yasenia knew that if her Master wanted to seduce her, she would most likely be helpless to resist. More so now that she had begun to grow some attachment to Lady First.
Of course, she would not be willing if she were given a choice. ‘Still… If Master becomes even more charming, that is a terrifying thing.’
After the discussion, Yasenia slowly stood up, stretching her wings and body a little bit. “I feel quite refreshed. I can feel I’ve become much stronger as well.”
There was no big breakthrough, but compared to before, Yasenia could tell she was at least 10% stronger. Such a big increase in just a week, for someone of Yasenia’s level of refinement, was truly ridiculous. After all, her realm didn’t increase much. This increase was about her base strength.
‘With this increase, I can probably fight two of my previous selves to a standstill, right?’ She probably couldn’t win, but she also wouldn’t lose.
