The captain of x69 outpost sighed, flanked by her first and second lieutenant.

" A burning star will always shine wherever it goes. He just arrived at the Frontlines a few days ago, and to think he will cause such an uproar. A change is coming no doubt, and Kailen Darkhaven will definitely play a major role, if he won’t be the main cause of it"

Meanwhile, HQ, in the office of the major who had assigned Kailen his mission.

The reports of the mission, alongside the video Kailen had made his shadow creatures record, concerning everything he had done on the mission had been sent to the major.

The major could not help but sigh.

" Not only did he discover five outposts, he actually managed to destroy four of them, while he managed to neutralise the poisons in the largest ship of the fifth supply route. And to think he would be this tactical and meticulous!. He utilized his abilities extremely well, worked within the confines of the mission, did not lose his head to overconfidence.

Also, he was emotionally detached enough to sacrifice the captured prisoners of the fifth supply route for the sake of the mission.

" Yes sir. I called to inform you that I’ve forwarded the mission report of x69 to you, together with the videos taken by Kailen Darkhaven when he was on the mission"

A glint of surprise flashed through the eyes of the Colonel for a moment before it quickly disappeared.

The man resumed his calm sharp, intimidating composure as he went through the mission reports and watched the videos.

However Major Seth knew he was surprised.

This man hardly lost his composure, even if it was just for a moment.

" Interesting. Very interesting," the man seemed pleased as he spoke.

"His grandfather would be proud of him. Assign him a number of missions that will help him prove his credibility, and promote him to the level of a captain after he proves himself deserving.

After promoting him to a captain, there’s no need to assign him a squad. He does not need a unit to be assigned under him, due to the nature of his abilities.

Only in special circumstances where it is absolutely necessary will he cooperate temporarily with other units.

Kailen finally arrived at HQ with the prisoners after completing the mission.
