And before Adam could even react, the vampire’s shadowy arm shot out, wrapping around his throat like a vise, releasing the pressure on his chest. The cold darkness gripped him, and the air was instantly knocked from his lungs. Adam gasped for breath, but there was none to be had.

Blood sprayed out in a sickening mist, painting the walls red with blood, and at the end of it, he flew through 13 different stone walls, the 14th one stopping him from going further.

Adam, at this point, lay there trembling in pain as he said to himself.
