Hated By The Alpha-Chapter 125: New enemies
Alpha Lake was still grumpy as he walked outside with Mark. He saw how Audrey was conversing casually with him and didn’t like it; he knew he had feelings for her before.
"Alpha," Sullivan called as they were walking around the packhouse.
Audrey paused and turned, seeing Sullivan with two other unknown men with dark shades covering their eyes.
Alpha Lake looked at his uninvited guests with a frown. What was Sullivan doing here? His business deal with him was over, and who were those men with him?
"What are doing here, Sullivan?" Alpha Lake asked, trying to sound neutral and not reveal his anger to him.
After Audrey revealed to him what he was planning to do to him with Malachi, his view of Sullivan and his daughter changed.
He had only thought Adeline was acting the way she did because he had been kind to her and was now jealous of him and Audrey. He never knew it was all a useless plot with Malachi to dethrone him.
"Ah, I came to take my daughter who had called me a few days ago and told me that she was sick and being nursed at your Pack hospital, but as I arrived, I didn’t see her there. No one knows where she’s gone to, and her phone was found lying on the bed," Sullivan spoke desperately, his eyes briefly glancing at Audrey and quickly removing it.
Alpha Lake shared a look with Audrey. She had told him earlier what she asked Will to do to Adeline, but they had been too busy and hadn’t confirmed if he did it or if she managed to escape after the spell expired after three days.
"Unfortunately, we don’t know where your slut daughter is, how about checking the brothels around?" Mark suddenly stepped in front of Alpha Lake and Audrey, shocking them with his savage replies.
Alpha Lake would have been able to handle it on his own, but if Mark wanted to play the protective big brother, then by all means, he should.
"What?! You! How dare you say that about my daughter? She’s no such!" Sullivan angrily defended.
"Shh!" Alpha Lake has had it.
He had other important things to do than to stand and exchange words with a classless wolf.
"Quiet Sullivan," He walked towards him, placing his hand on Sullivan’s shoulder.
The man stiffened up, quickly glancing at the two men beside him for help, but they remained still, looking ahead as if they weren’t hearing anything around them.
Audrey found their behavior to be odd and narrowed her eyes at them, observing them.
"We have your daughter, Sullivan," Alpha Lake said, a serious look on his face.
Audrey instantly snapped her face to him, then at Mark, she was confused by his reply.
What did he mean we?
She had nobody’s fucking daughter. She looked over at Mark, "You on this with him?" She whispered.
"No," Mark shook his head.
Audrey remained quiet and watched Alpha Lake. Saying he had Adeline when he didn’t, meant he had a plan.
"Oh, thank the moon goddess, I was so worried something happened to my daughter, and I was-"
"Shh, something might still happen to her, if you don’t tell me everything about Malachi," Alpha Lake threatened.
Audrey watched as Sullivan’s eyes widened and shook. He couldn’t believe his ears.
He was probably thinking about how Alpha Lake got to know about his involvement with Malachi.
"I-I don’t know what you mean, Alpha," Sullivan denied, trying to move away and save himself.
The situation wasn’t going as he planned and he didn’t understand why the men he had come with were standing and not acting.
"Really? Okay then. I’ll decide what to do with her when I’m ready," Alpha Lake said dismissively and removed his hand from Sullivan.
The moment he turned his back to Sulliv9 jn yn 5j5 55jj 56j6 Sullivan’s, Audrey saw the men beside him instantly take out a dagger from their pockets and aim it at him.
"Oh, fuck this, duck!" She shouted to Alpha Lake who ducked immediately.
Audrey used a heavy wind to command two branches which instantly lifted off the floor and flew straight to the men’s heads, knocking them immediately.
They fell to the ground in a thud, their daggers falling out of their hands.
"Oh no!" Sullivan tried to run but Mark pinned him down immediately.
"Now, you would have just answered the question truthfully and be saved. You already know what this means for you," Mark said, chuckling as he roughly lifted Sullivan to his feet.
"No, no, no, please! I-I have nothing to do with them, please spare me!" Sullivan turned pale as he saw Audrey and the Alpha walking dangerously towards him.
He knew he’d been caught, he never expected things to turn out this way.
"Seems like you need a reminder," This time, Audrey didn’t waste her time holding his wrist; she just stared into his eyes, and with a little color switch in her eyes, Sulivan started to scream at the top of his lungs.
"Argh!!!, Ahh!! No!!!" He could only scream and struggle against Mark’s hold while his wrists burnt with an invisible fire.
"Impressive," Mark chuckled.
"Thank you," Audrey smiled.
"Please! I swear I didn’t know they would try to harm you! Argh! Please! Spare me!" Sullivan was wailing like a drowning woman.
Alpha Lake was quietly glaring at him; he knew Audrey had her plans; if not, he would have ended all this long ago by slicing one of the daggers across Sullivan’s throat.
"You didn’t know indeed," Audrey whispered a spell, and the men who were lying on the floor suddenly changed to women, their gowns torn and dirty, and their skins looked so pale and malnourished with eyes sunken into their sockets.
"Really?" Audrey asked, her face devoid of any emotions.
"Please, forgive me, I’m sorry. It was Elena, she made me do it! Please," Sullivan was almost ready to pass out from the pain he was feeling, he would even appreciate death at that moment.
"Forgive you? You brought soul reapers to us and you’re asking me to forgive you?" Audrey was mad.
"And you dare to plan an attack on your Alpha King, my mate!" Audrey growled her wolf pushing forward.
"Arghhh!!!" Sullivan screamed and fell to the floor as Mark released him and stepped away from him.
Everyone watched as the whole of Sullivan’s left hand turned black like coal, smoke emanating from it.
He lay there between the female soul reapers, crying loudly, "Kill me, kill me already," He managed to whisper.
"Kill you?" Audrey scoffed.
"Where is the fun in that?" She chuckled and went to squat beside him.
"This is just the beginning," She whispered to him.
Audrey spoke loudly in a foreign language as she placed her hand on each soul reaper, and in the next second, they turned to ashes and were blown away by the wind.
"Their souls have crossed the threshold of redemption; even if they reaped souls, it’ll never make them human again, just a waste of time...and souls, of course," Audrey explained to Alpha Lake and Mark.
Sullivan was shaking with fear as he witnessed what Audrey had done.

Down at the dungeon, Philip carelessly threw Sullivan into a cell and quickly locked him there.
"They’re here, Alpha," He said and went ahead to open another cell for them.
Inside there, Cara, Janeth, and Grace were hanging from a chain. Their hands were tightly locked in a tight chain, and their midsection was too locked in a connecting chain.
"So, what do you want to do with them?" Alpha Lake asked, looking at the three paling girls.
Audrey moved forward, feeling their foreheads for something.
"They’re burning up, their souls are almost reaching the threshold," She whispered.
"And then, they’ll become like those?" Mark asked slowly.
"Yes. I have to hurry and save them, but I’ll need to take them to the garden," Audrey said.
Alpha Lake gave her a secret look, "Our garden?" He asked, smirking at her as he thought of what they had done in the secret garden on the day of the full moon.
Audrey held back her smile and nodded at him, "Yes, our garden," She replied.
Mark stood aside, feeling the chemistry bustling between his brother and his friend/cousin.
"I wonder what happened in this garden that got you both already eyefucking each other," Mark said and went ahead to unlock the chains.
"What are you doing?" Alpha Lake asked, moving to stop him.
"Releasing them, of course," Mark rolled his eyes.
"Let him. I need to do it right away anyway," Audrey softly said to Alpha Lake.
As they walked toward the forest, Maria, Mary, and Sandra joined them, not wanting to miss out on visiting the garden again.
"I think I hear something," Audrey whispered as they neared the vined trees.
"Me too," Alpha Lake said.
"Oh no, another soul reaper?" Sandra asked, scared.
"No..." Audrey paused, sniffing and listening in.
Sandras sighed in relief as she heard Audrey’s reply.
"Far worse," Audrey said, her voice carrying the tone of foreboding.
