Guide To Train My Beast Husbands-Chapter 244: Banning Ruan Zeqiu from seeing Ruan Chanchan
Ruan Chanchan instinctively closed her eyes. She had no idea whether she should back off or let the mer continue kissing her, but when Xie Daiyu pushed her back, and her back hit the trunk of the tree, Ruan Chanchan realised that she couldn’t let this mer continue to control this situation anymore, because if she allowed this mer to continue acting in such a manner, there was a very good chance that he might ruin her in the most chaotic way possible.
She pursed her lips, and her eyes turned determined. She skimmed her hand over his bare, smooth skin before knotting her fingers in the back of his head, tangling his long, inky locks in her slender fingers, before tilting his head to one side and taking control of the kiss. This time around, she was the one who kissed him. And the reins of the kiss fell in her hands. She slowed down the pace and deepened the kiss.
Unlike Xie Daiyu, she didn’t rush, nor did he hesitate. She softly set the pace, angled her head and bit his lower lip just hard enough to let him feel the control without forcing it.
And when the mer instinctively tried to deepen the kiss, Ruan Chanchan pulled just a fraction back.
She didn’t need to say anything, but her warning was there.
The mer froze, and he stopped moving. Realising that he had gone all stiff, Ruan Chanchan pulled back and tipped his chin slightly.
"Look at me."
And he did. Without any question or suspicion in his eyes. When his gaze met with Ruan Chanchan, there was only devotion written all over his face. He was not showing any weakness, and nor was he submitting to her. He just trusted Ruan Chanchan enough to know that she was not going to harm him, nor was she going to humiliate him. That was why he chose to trust her.
Ruan Chanchan’s eyes softened when she saw the look in the eyes of the mer. She reached out and cupped his cheek, and she kissed him again. This time fully again. Her actions were claiming and deliberate —until his breathing turned uneven and she could feel his skin heating up. His muscles bunched up because of the tension that was coursing through his veins.
Xie Daiyu clenched and unclenched his fingers as lust started to swirl in his mind; he caught Ruan Chanchan’s waist and started kneading her skin. He skimmed his hands down and down and even further down until he was clutching onto her bottom, and his fingertips were digging into her skin.
However, just as his hands started to get more handsy with her, Ruan Chanchan pulled away. She broke the kiss and released a shaky breath, just as the mer let out a whining noise in his throat. He was annoyed with the fleeting kiss and desired even more.
"Chanchan...." he murmured.
She smiled at him, looking quite pleased with his whimpering reaction.
"This shall be enough?" she asked with a teasing note in her voice.
He laughed under his breath upon hearing her response. There was a tinge of helplessness in his voice when he heard her response. "You are so cruel." He pressed his forehead against hers and sighed heavily. He could feel the strain in his length, and well, it made him grit his teeth.
This woman was going to be the death of him.
"Are you sure that I am being cruel?" Ruan Chanchan curled her lips and flicked a finger at his forehead. With her lips extra close to his own, she whispered, "It would have been cruel if I had continued, would it not?"
Xie Daiyu pursed his lips. He didn’t say anything and backed off, for he knew that if he let her continue to tease him anymore, he would end up turning crazy.
"You don’t have to worry about me," said Ruan Chanchan. "I am not going to die so easily."
She then turned on her feet and started walking toward the tribe, and this time around, when Xie Daiyu chased her, he fell half a step behind, and this time it was not because she asked him to but because he was willing to.

The next morning, when Ruan Chanchan woke up, she realised that there was something very wrong. She raised her head and looked at the countless ceremonial ribbons that were hanging from the ceiling of her cave. She then slowly turned to look at the woman who was sitting beside her and softly asked, "I am just asking this to confirm it—are you trying to sacrifice me? If you are, then can you at least let me have the chance to have a final meal?"
Chief Xie turned to look at the woman beside her. She smiled, and Ruan Chanchan had a feeling that this kind of smile was definitely what countless leaders showed to one another before starting wars. Ruan Chanchan showed a flattering smile to the chief before saying to her, "Is something the matter?"
"You tell me." Chief Xie placed the bowl of hot water on the floor and turned to look at her. She crossed her arms in front and said to her, "Tell me, what were you doing in the small mountains?"
"Will you believe me if I were to say that the beast goddess was the one who asked me to go to the small mountains?" Ruan Chanchan offered a silly smile to the woman, who simply scrunched up her nose and said to her, "That’s convenient."
"Really convenient."
Darling, it’s a really good thing that you woke up. I wanted to tell you that you have triggered an unexpected event. Divine chaos. There is a probability of 76% of a social catastrophe.
Ruan Chanchan pursed her lips and sacthingly replied, "Well, that’s too low."
Chief Xie raised a brow and asked, "Did you say something?"
"Not at all," said Ruan Chanchan quickly. "Just... having a little conversation with the beast goddess."
Hearing this, Chief Xie arched a brow.
