Guide To Train My Beast Husbands-Chapter 214: From The Start
"What’s wrong?" Yuan Ni asked when he saw that Ruan Chanchan’s expression did not look good.
"It’s nothing; I am just surprised that no one knows how to read or write," replied Ruan Chanchan with her fingers rubbing her forehead. She knew that this mission was not going to be easy, but she never thought that there would be additional troubles like this one right here. What was she supposed to do with a bunch of kindergarteners?
Upon hearing her response, both Yuan Ni and Su Mo turned to look at one another. They were sharing the same helpless look in their eyes. It seemed like there were a lot of things that Ruan Chanchan needed to learn because there was no way anyone would come up with the conclusion that their tribe members were actually educated. Where did she even get the idea that their tribe members knew how to read? She was dreaming. She had to be.
Finally, Yuan Ni decided to help Ruan Chanchan wake up from the daydream that she was having. He said to her, "Chanchan, our tribe doesn’t have a tutor. Only those who have the right to learn the beast language have the right to teach the language to the tribes. We have no tutor, as our tribe is really small and weak." Yuan Ni explained in a firm and affirmative voice. "Only large tribes like the Eternal Snake tribe or the White Fang tribe have the right to have tutors. We don’t have such a privilege. How can we even think of learning when our strength is weaker than a newborn tribe?"
"You mean there is someone who has the right to teach, and if he or she doesn’t teach you, then you cannot learn anything?" Ruan Chanchan asked with a hoarse voice; suddenly, her little, simple and easy plan ended up getting more and more out of her hands.
"...that is indeed the case," Yuan Ni replied in a soft voice. He had a feeling that Ruan Chanchan was about to cry. But why? What even happened for the woman to suddenly start crying? He turned to look at Su Mo, who shrugged in response. He, too, had no idea what was happening. All he knew was that Ruan Chanchan asked him to come and see her, and all of a sudden, she started to look like the sky had come crashing down, and it had nothing to do with him.
Yuan Ni rolled his eyes and turned to look at Ruan Chanchan. With some slight hesitation, he asked, "Is there something wrong? Is there a problem with us not knowing how to read or write? But it is not our fault. After all, the temple only imparts its teaching to a few people, and it’s absolutely sinful to learn the knowledge of reading and writing without the permission of the beast temple. "
"...."
Wrong?
Was there anything wrong? Ruan Chanchan felt her lips twitch. Damn it, there were too many things that were wrong. These people didn’t even know how to read or write, and to make things even worse, they didn’t even have the right to learn. Even if she somehow managed to learn the beast world’s knowledge, what was the point? She couldn’t even teach them a thing because it was not legal! Did she have to go to the beast temple and learn how to read and write? But it wasn’t as if she weren’t literate.
Learning once was bad enough; how was she supposed to do it more than one time?
She didn’t want to!
"Why are you thinking of learning from the start?" Xiao Xi felt exasperated when he saw Ruan Chanchan’s thoughts running rampant.
When Ruan Chanchan raised her head to look at him, he rolled his eyes and said to her, "Instead of learning from the start, why not teach them what you know? It’s much easier than what they had to learn from the beast temple. I believe they would appreciate it even more."
Ruan Chanchan’s eyes, which were filled with dread, slowly started to fill with a newfound hope. She turned to look at Xiao Xi and shook hands with him. She praised him at once. "You are really good, Xiao Xi. You are right, so what if I don’t know how to write the language of this world? I can always teach them the language of my own world."
Ruan Chanchan felt like a new door had opened for her.
Xiao Xi was right; it was better to do something out of the box. There was no need to follow the rest like a sheep. It was better to be a black sheep.
Just admit that you are being lazy. It’s not that hard to learn a new language; you just don’t want to put the effort in.
Ruan Chanchan rolled her eyes when she heard the system’s childish voice. She said to him, "Have you even gone through the hardships of years of education and exams?"
No?
"Then you will probably not understand what I am going through, so you’d better shut up for me. And that too countless times!"
Ruan Chanchan felt like dying when she thought of how many times she had to attend school. Even though she was often born as an abandoned child, an orphan or with some other tragic backstory, she somehow ended up getting enrolled in a school. Sometimes it was a kind-hearted philanthropist, and sometimes it was the orphanage, or sometimes it was a charitable trust.
She had learnt enough.
She felt like a really old vampire who had no other choice but to play the role of a teenager just because she wanted to fit in.
If only she had one life, then Ruan Chanchan was sure she could have created a hall of fame of her degrees alone, with how many times she went to school.
It was better to use her hard-earned knowledge that she already knew rather than starting from the beginning.
