At first she thought that she had misread it but when she doubled her gaze back up, she realised that she had not misread. Instead of gaining goodwill points, she had actually earned faith points..which was weird because she had never heard of them before. She had received gifts and antiques scrolls which were of no use to her but she had never heard about faith energy.
"Xiao Xi, what is this faith energy?" She asked the system as she had never encountered it before. She turned to look at the little system that was bobbing up and down next to her and asked in a soft voice, "I don’t think I have ever heard of this faith energy before."
Of course you haven’t darling this is the first time you have received faith energy after all, so how could you have heard about it before? Xiao Xi replied with a little bob of his head.

Xiao Xi shook his head. He explained, "the good will points are earned through the people of this world. They essentially belong to them because every time they thank you, they release a kind of spiritual energy that helps you in growing. Since you have taken their spiritual energy, it is only right that you return it to them in some other form. But the faith energy is collected to you and the supermarket alone. As long as you gain the reverence of the customers who purchase goods from your supermarket, you can grow as a person as well as a beast warrior."
"So basically you mean to say that the faith energy and I are connected rather closely?" Ruan Chanchan understood the point that Xiao Xi was trying to make and realised that things became even more interesting. With the faith energy in her hands, wouldn’t it become a child’s play for her to return to her world and live a good life of a wealthy heiress?
Ruan Chanchan’s face turned joyful as she giggled sinsiterly.

She pursed her lips and said to Ruan Zeqiu with her hands raised in the air, "Alright. I was not listening what you were saying but I had a very good reason for that."

That was seriously the last thing that she needed, as Ruan Chanchan knew how temperamental Ruan Zeqiu could become if he thought that she was ignoring him.
This piqued Ruan Zeqiu’s interest. He raised a brow and looked at Ruan Chanchan before saying to her, "And what is that good thing, sister?" Since his sister cooked the bluebird meat, Ruan Zeqiu had been hoping for something even delicious to come his way, as he was no longer as fascinated by the bluebird meat anymore, having eaten enough.

Ruan Chanchan quickly showed him the spicy demonfire chillies that she had collected and said, "This is a really good thing." Ruan Chanchan really liked spicy food. The one thing that she liked the most was ramen prepared in spicy chilli sauce. She wondered if the people of the beast world would like it too?
"Sister, it seems like you have made a mistake," said Ruan Zeqiu with a frown. "This thing is not toxic, but if you eat it, then you will get sick for a long, long time. You shouldn’t eat it," he had eaten it a few months back because it looked really pretty, but it turned out that it was the worst possible decision that he could make. The second he finished eating it, his throat started to burn, and it continued to hurt for more than a week. His entire mouth felt tingly and swollen, and he couldn’t even move his mouth properly. There was nothing that could explain the taste of this thing, and his sister said that it was delicious.
Ruan Chanchan smiled when she heard the words of the mer. She softly sighed and said to her little brother, "This is indeed a really good thing. You must have eaten the whole thing. Isn’t that right?"
Ruan Zeqiu frowned and nodded.
"You cannot eat it whole. It’s something that we add to our food to add some seasoning and taste. And it will make the food really delicious." When she saw that the mer was still frowning, she sighed and then said to him, "Trust me. When have I ever let you down? This thing is really good. Once I use it to cook, you will realise that I was not joking. Of course, if you don’t want to eat it, then I will not force you to eat it. You can just continue eating what you usually like." Ruan Chanchan didn’t want to force Ruan Zeqiu into doing anything that he didn’t want to do. Since he disliked the idea of eating chilli peppers, then she could just continue cooking something that he liked.
