However, its full power could only be unleashed when used with a mount.

Kunan had no mount, so he couldn’t unleash the full power of his Charge Combat Skill.

But it was more than enough to deal with the Demon Cave Spider.

Seeing the multiple enemies, the Demon Cave Spider’s first instinct was to raise its abdomen, preparing to shoot its Magic Spider Web.

Several slender spider legs suddenly went flying through the air.

The Demon Cave Spider’s camouflage failed, revealing its true form.

It hadn’t actually burrowed into the ground; Demon Cave Spiders can’t tunnel. It had merely used its innate camouflage Magic to hide.

Li Wei had kept his eyes on the Demon Cave Spider. Since he already knew its abilities, he had seen through its camouflage instantly.

With the Demon Cave Spider injured, Lanya and Kunan pressed their advantage.

Lisa kept an arrow nocked, firing the moment she saw any sign that the Demon Cave Spider was about to use a Skill.

The party coordinated quite well.

Watching from the sidelines, Dias’s hands itched; several times, he wanted to rush in and join the battle.

He wanted to be up there fighting, not guarding Li Wei.

A few minutes later, the Demon Cave Spider fell to Lanya’s sword.

"Phew! We finally killed it," Lanya said, letting out a long breath.

Kunan glanced at the corpse and said regretfully, "It’s too mangled. We won’t be able to take it back and sell it."

Lanya smiled and said, "Don’t worry about it. There’s nothing valuable on a Demon Cave Spider. The only thing worth anything is the Demon Core, but this spider’s Level is too low, and the chance of it producing a Demon Core is pitifully slim."

After they both lamented for a moment, Lanya broke off the Demon Cave Spider’s right fang as proof of the kill and walked back to the party.

The party rested for a while before moving on.

Li Wei was responsible for finding the Demon Cave Spiders hidden underground.

Looking at the dead Demon Cave Spider on the ground, Lanya wiped the green spider blood from her face and said with a smile, "That’s the fourth one."

Dias took out a bandage to wrap Kunan’s injured arm.

Kunan grimaced in pain and said, "Go easy!"

"It’s a good thing Mage Li Wei can pinpoint the Demon Cave Spiders’ locations every time. Otherwise, these Demons would be a real pain to deal with!" Kunan exclaimed.

After Dias finished the bandaging, he patted Kunan’s arm. "With your constitution, the wound should heal in a couple of days."

"You’re injured. How about I go up with the captain?" Dias suggested.

Hearing this, Kunan looked toward Lanya.

It wasn’t just because he was injured; he could see how eager Dias was to get in on the action.

Lanya considered for a moment, then nodded and said, "Alright. Kunan, you protect Mage Li Wei. Dias, you’ll take Kunan’s position and help me pin down the Demon Cave Spiders."

Lisa pulled her arrows from the corpse, wiped them clean of blood, and returned them to her quiver.

"Alright, let’s keep moving!" Lanya shouted, full of energy.

Li Wei extended his senses for a moment and found a Demon Cave Spider not far off.

"This way."

The party advanced in the direction he pointed.

Before long, they came upon a clearing in the woods.

Lisa nocked an arrow and shot it toward the center of the clearing.

The Demon Cave Spider burst out of its trap and scrambled rapidly toward them.

Lanya was the first to charge forward, worried that Dias lacked combat experience.
