The spy was sent by one of Celine’s brothers as a precaution. The spy was not to release the disease he had until the moment when Celine’s brother wanted to teach her a lesson.

Celine’s brother wanted to detonate this bomb that he had planted within the gang. He didn’t do it because Celine died. Instead of letting the disease spread and run amok, he cut off his contact with it in order not to be suspected of her death.

The worst thing they discovered was so bad that they asked the Web Hammer to begin securing their base with her rank 4 divine ability as soon as possible.

The rank 4 divine ability of the pathway of fate weaver is called Marrionette. This divine ability helps the fate weaver create strong but invisible webs in an area. This divine ability is why they called their ninth slave the Web Hammer.

The Web Hammer spent the rest of the day weaving nets. She got the full support of Legion in the matter. That meant that she received spiritual energy from them when she ran out of spiritual energy, and they gave her energy water to replenish her spiritual energy after they ran out of it.
