The power of Noble Bloodline is also why Sir Bushwick wasn't scared of the rank 4 judge mutant. He clenched his hand into a fist and swung it at the mutant.

The mutant didn't bother to dodge. It probably didn't even see the attack coming its way. So the punch slammed into its head without a problem.

The punch was so powerful that Bushwick's fist sank into the mutant's faceless head. To be fair, the structure of the mutant's flesh also had a part to play in it too.

The flesh of the mutant had become soft like wax. So Bushwick's punch didn't smash the head open. Instead, his hand got stuck in the mutant's head while the heat of the fire within the mutant struck him face first.

His position wasn't favorable at all. Even though the mutant itself was useless and was only slamming him with its hands, he was in danger of losing his life because of the heat of the fire.

Bushwick's clothes caught fire and began to burn. Even his skin began to sizzle and smoke because of the heat.

Like any normal person would do, he tried to push the mutant away and put some distance between himself and it. Unfortunately, his hand only sank into the wax flesh of the mutant and refused to let go.

It was as if the mutant was made of a powerful adhesive wax. Once his hand touched it, he couldn't let it go. The mutant was also slamming its hand onto him as if he were a log of wood and its arms were axes that it wanted to use to split the wood.

The heat was killing him. He also felt a sharp increase in the consumption of spiritual energy needed to maintain his two rules.

The increase in consumption of spiritual energy made him feel as if he was being hollowed out quickly. But he couldn't stop maintaining the rules, or he would surely die.

So he shouted to his knight, "Save me."

He didn't care about his dignity at all. He screamed as if his life counted on it. Considering the situation, his life did count on it.

The knight rushed over to help immediately. When he reached Bushwick, the noble had already lost the layer of skin facing the mutant and was in the process of losing the muscles underneath the skin.

The knight swung his blade and cut off the head of the mutant. This didn't stop the mutant from fighting, as it didn't need its head. It didn't even feel any pain because of the loss. But the separation of its head from its body freed Sir Bushwick's hands.

Sir Bushwick took the opportunity to separate himself from the mutant. His two hands were still bound by the wax head of the mutant. But the head was already melting, so his hands would be free soon.

The mutant wasn't willing to let him go, though. It chased after him, swinging its arms haphazardly in a clumsy attempt to smash Bushwick to death.

No matter how Sir Bushwick ran, the mutant chased after him and was able to keep up with him.

So Bushwick instructed the knight, "Get its legs. Get its legs immediately."

Sir Bushwick couldn't let things continue like that because if the chase continued for 30 more seconds, he would run out of spiritual energy needed to maintain his rules. At that point, this fight will become worse than a chase.

This is why he instructed the knight to cut off the mutant's legs. The knight did as instructed.

Sir Charles overcame the discomfort caused by the heat and cut off both of the mutant's legs with one single swing of his blade. This caused the mutant to fall to the ground and not be able to run again.

However, the mutant was determined to get to Bushwick. It was so determined that it picked itself up with its arms and used them to drag itself towards Bushwick.

Before Bushwick could say anything, the knight cut off the mutant's arms too. Then the knight also slashed at the mutant's torso and cut into it.

The flesh of the mutant was soft, so the blade severed it completely. The flame was unharmed by the blade, but the severing of the torso exposed the flame to the air and caused it to expand drastically.

The whole body of the mutant went up in flames and created an explosion of white fire. The fire was intense but short-lived. This was bad news for Sir Charles.

Sir Charles was close to the mutant when it exploded. So the explosion engulfed him and incinerated him in an instant. All that was left of him after the explosion was some ashes, his molten armor, and three divine fleshes.

The mutant had also disappeared. Even the wax head holding Sir Charles's hands together was quickly liquefying. The wax turned into water and fell to the ground, freeing his hands.

Only one person out of the 13 who came to fight died in this battle. But the death of Sir Charles was a significant loss to Bushwick. He especially didn't like the fact that he lost his knight because of Sheckel's determination to sacrifice herself.

This anger made him determined to make sure that none of the lamp bearers survived because of her sacrifice.

So he said to his rank 3 warrior, "Tell me that you got all of them."

The rank 3 warrior shook his head. Bushwick didn't like this reply.

He frowned and asked, "How many of them got away?"

The mutant raised one finger with one hand. Then he pretended to run. He was moving quickly, but he was stationary.

Bushwick understood what the warrior said, so he nodded. He didn't complain anymore because a rank 3 traveler would indeed be difficult to stop by his subordinates.

He also wasn't angry that the warrior didn't answer his question directly because the warrior can't speak and because the warrior is his brother. Sir Charles was also his brother.
