Gong Xuancheng passed through numerous prison doors and arrived at the deepest part of an underground cell.

In the cells of the upper levels, many prisoners were held, but in this level, there was only one cell, and it housed only one person.

The guards of this level rotated in three shifts, guarding 24 hours a day, and they were not ordinary guards, but specially selected ones.

After Gong Xuancheng showed his documents, the two guards cautiously opened the door, repeatedly reminding him of precautions after entering the cell.

But after waiting for a moment, no one responded.

"My name is Gong Xuancheng, from the Gong Family of the Celestial Void Palace." Gong Xuancheng continued: "I need you to do me a favor. If you can do it, the Chu Family will no longer trouble you. The account of you betraying the Chu Family and assassinating your sworn brother Chu Kuangsheng can be wiped clean."

"What do you want me to do?" A voice finally came from within the metal statue; cold, gloomy, and venomous, sounding like a snake hissing from the shadows.

"Doing what you love most, killing." Gong Xuancheng smiled as he spoke.

"Who?" Bu Changning replied coldly.

"Does it matter who?" Gong Xuancheng countered.

Eerie laughter echoed from within the metal statue, lasting for a long time before stopping, then Bu Changning said: "It truly doesn't matter."

"As long as you agree, not only will my Gong Family grant you freedom, but will also assist you in achieving the Seventh Sense into the Great Cave Heaven." Gong Xuancheng continued.

"Looks like the person you want to kill is very difficult to deal with." Bu Changning chuckled wickedly.

"If it weren't difficult, we wouldn't be seeking you out." Gong Xuancheng replied.

"Indeed, I enjoy killing hard-to-kill people." Bu Changning said.

"Since you've agreed, there are some things we must clarify first. You are very strong, coupled with your past actions; until you complete the task, we cannot fully trust you, so we must have some measures that will allow us both to have peace of mind." Gong Xuancheng said.

"Alright." Bu Changning replied directly.

"Aren't you going to ask what kind of measures?" Gong Xuancheng asked somewhat surprised.

"Do I have a choice?" Bu Changning coldly replied.

"Makes sense." Gong Xuancheng took out a bottle, poured an elixir from it, and said in front of the metal statue: "This is an elixir developed by our Gong Family. If you consume it, you'll be fine for now; but if there is no antidote in three months, your internal organs will first rot, followed by your entire body until eventually turning into a pile of compost."

"Of course, as long as you consume the antidote within three months, nothing will happen. This elixir can only be countered by our Gong Family."

"Why bother with so much nonsense?" Bu Changning coldly said, then opened his mouth.

Gong Xuancheng chuckled, tossing the elixir directly into Bu Changning's mouth, watching as it slipped past the uvula.

This elixir dissolves upon contact with water, so Gong Xuancheng wasn't concerned about any tricks; he called upon the guards to have them open the metal statue.

As the metal statue opened, a naked man was revealed, his emaciated body bound by metal rings inside the statue; even after opening it, he remained unable to move.

Bu Changning was just one of their aces prepared for Zi Donglai, the ability of this person, even to kill one person, meant that even top Sixth Awakening Powerhouses could not escape.
