GOD OF ALL SYSTEMS-Chapter 220: Delusions of an Avatar. Faithful Cries 1
Among the billions of Desolate Domains, there was a Desolate Domain shrouded in chaotic grey mist. It was larger than the nearby desolate domains, which were galaxy-sized; this particular domain was three times the size of the regular desolate domains.
Within the desolate domain, thick grey mist, stench with bloody miasma, filled the air. You couldn't see even ten steps ahead with your bare eyes. Besides the thick grey mist and bloody miasma surrounding it, the chaotic, desolate energy made the scene quite horrid, as its ravaging whirlings constantly tore at the void.
In such an environment, it is reasonable to assume that living organisms, such as plants and animals, were almost nonexistent. However, contrary to popular belief, despite the chaotic and hostile conditions of the area, massive trees, thousands of feet tall, covered tens of thousands of acres. While plants and animals did exist, they were far from typical. In this domain, everything was either a shallow blood mist or an unnatural-looking organism.
Within the desolate domain's core areas, atomic-level explosions rocked the scene as a serious battle raged. Sparks of Daos and Laws permeated the scene as mountains of craters could be seen scattering and launching in all directions.
In the skies, hundreds of millions of blood-red spikes hovered with spear-like tips, but instead of the usual pointed tips, the tips had skulls—skulls with large, elongated heads and wide, thick fangs. Ignore the tips of the bloody spears, and instead focus on the biting motion made by the skulls, their mouths opening and biting with an unknown force of pressure with every bite. And with every bite of these skulls, portions of the void vanished, as if capable of devouring anything before them, even the void itself.
Suddenly, the hundreds of millions of blood-skull spears, as if commanded, launched down at unscalable speeds. Tearing and devouring the void with their descent, the blood-skull spears instantaneously covered their distance and reached their targeted enemy.
Facing the blood-skull spears was a silver-haired young man, seeming to be 6'7" tall. The man wore black and gold armor, both colors perfectly complementing a design that made his presence that of a true omniarch.
Despite facing hundreds of millions of attacks, the young silver-haired man remained calm and unreactive, with his arms even held behind his back as he watched the blood-skull spears approach him. But contrary to what was expected, instead of devouring the man as they had with the void and everything else, the blood-skull spears shattered upon coming within ten feet of the young man, like a sponge thrown at the sun.
Time passed as hundreds of millions of blood-skull spears smashed against the silver-haired man and disintegrated into nothingness. The attacks, not even registered as something threatening to him.
In the sky, a creature of massive size with two large bull horns, hovered with raging amounts of multiple Daos and Laws essences radiating from it. The creature had glowing red horns, each sparkling with unknown chaotic energy, one registered only to its bloodline of existences. With the head of a bull and the massive upright body of a bull to match, calling the creature a minotaur wouldn't be far-fetched.
The minotaur beast hovered arms free as it witnessed the scene of all his attacks disintegrating before even reaching their target. But despite its fruitless attack, the minotaur beast hovered unreactive, its nostrils steaming with heavy breaths of Dao and Law energies with every exhale puff. Its massive body was donned in a blood-red golden armor, covering only its body, thighs, and forearms. Leaving its bare feet, head, and arms exposed.
Seeing its attacks being a mere waste of time and energy, the minotaur beast directed its right hand towards the blood-skull arrows and spoke, "Puny attack for a law, anyways, disperse!" as the hundreds of millions of blood-skull arrows immediately melted into drops of blood and began falling after. As if the scene wasn't already darkened enough, the falling drops of hundreds of millions of blood rain left the scene even blood dark, overshadowing the scene entirely.
The scene went silent as the sound of blood raindrops was all that resonated. Two beings, each arrogant in their rights, standing only hundreds of meters apart as they stared directly at each other, as if in a standoff.
But as the raindrops dwindled, an unknown wave of tension could be sensed between the beings. The minotaur beast was gradually bulging its fists and maniacally staring down at the silver-haired man, as if the end of the raindrops signified their ultimate crash. Its body unleashed endless waves of destructive power and energy, causing the space to bend and assume its figure. One can only guess the power of this being, where his bodily energy alone is enough to bend reality.
Below, the silver-haired man remained still and unbothered, not even twitching a muscle in preparation for the inevitable crash as the end of the blood raindrops. This man was none other than Patrick.
Seeing the anticipatory stance of the minotaur beast, Patriick scoffed with an exhale. Simultaneously, he gazed at the last hundreds of thousands of blood raindrops as they instantly crystallized and launched at the minotaur beast. Then, with a thought, thousands of mountain-sized craters rose from the earth, each crater the size of a planet, matching that of Jupiter. The craters multiplied and filled the scene, numbering in the tens of millions.
While the earth craters were being multiplied, hundreds of thousands of crystallized blood raindrops were launched at the minotaur beast. Seeing this, the minotaur beast grunted with a heavy exhale as it stretched its right arm to block the attacks, but as the crystallized raindrops entered its conscious energy field, a sense of alarm rang in the minotaur's mind. Its eyes widened as it immediately retracted its right arm.
But not even allowed the privilege, the minotaur felt a glitch in reality and time as it felt restrained and paralyzed, this disadvantage causing the blood raindrops launching at unscalable speeds to pulverize its arm simultaneously upon impact. Like a fruit pressure-washed at one hundred million psi. So, like pressure-washing anything with such force, the arm of the minotaur beast pulverizing is inevitable.
But again, not even tolerated the free will to roar in agony, the minotaur beast watched as hundreds of thousands of planetary-sized craters launched at him simultaneously. But this time,
"Do you take this god's avatar for a joke? I am Thalgron, emperor of Universe Thalgria, home of the Ancient Scarletaurs. You think you are the only one capable of manipulating time?!"
A hoarse bellowing voice reverberated throughout the scene, causing the void to tremble vigorously as the minotaur beast, identified as Emperor Thalgron, leader of Thalgria, home of the race of Ancient Scarletaurs.
As it bellowed, the Ancient Scaletaur raised its left arm in the sky as it uttered, "Dao of Scarlet, Law of Time, divine reversal!"
Upon uttering those words, the scene halted for an instant, but then everything resumed simultaneously; it was almost as if time didn't even halt. Realizing this, the Ancient Scarletaur widened its eyes in disbelief as it watched the mountains crash at him. But quickly regaining its attention, Thalgron clenched its left fist and punched at the void, a black hole emerging at the location of its punch as it aimed to devour the incoming hundreds of thousands of planetary craters.
But before any fragments of thoughts or expectations formed in Thalgron's consciousness, a calm and unhurried masculine voice resounded in the scene.
"What haven't you comprehended, little bull?" Then, fading through the oncoming craters, Patrick shifted and hovered before Thalgron, arms behind him as he gazed upon the little bull with a disconnected sense of condescension, "Your little charade ended upon my entrance, wake up," as he flickered his right index finger at the Ancient Scarletaur's head, blasting its entire upper body with its head completely.
Like being sucked from a dream, Thalgron felt an unbearable, sharp pain before suddenly opening its eyes. With eyes dripping with thick red and black blood, Thalgron surveyed its surroundings. Then, as if seeing the most horrifying thing, Thalgron's eyes widened as he tried to scream with every ounce of emotion, but only being able to splurt out mouthfuls of blood mixed with tissues of internal and some brain remains, Thalgron resigned to its fate.
Blood tears could be seen protruding from its eyes as it stared far in the distance, its blurry gaze fixated on a certain golden giant statue, which had its upper half obliterated out of existence. Opening its mouth and seeming to muster every ounce of power to even make a grunt, Thalgron looked at the silver-haired Patrick Alexander King standing not far before him with blood-stained hands and armor, while also looking into the distance at what seemed to be the home of Thalgron, Thalgria.
"S...so..., you... Really...did exterminate my race, huh...? ~Cough~... Desolate God Demon, or-cough~ should... I say, Conqueror Supreme?!" ~Cough~
"...." Patrick remained silent, his gaze unsympathetic as he listened to Thalgron.
"Tens of millions of reign and legacy, all reduced to ruins in an instant. ~Cough~ Ha...haha...hahahahaha....~ Isn't life ironic, Conqueror Supreme? ~cough~ For eons of cycles, I battled through worlds, realms, and universes. Eradicating home worlds and universes in the name of glory...~cough~...only for my home world to be met with the same fate... haha ~cough~ hahaha... ironic indeed."
"What...can I say? I at least lived to become a Heavenly King, first stage... not that any of it matters, ~cough~ since you stripped my existence of my cultivated state of being...~cough~ but know this, Conqueror Supreme, ~cough~ the cycle of the Karmic Grand Dao is inevitable, ~cough~ as it has come, so will it go-" ~exhale~
A final breath came from the Ancient Scarletaur as its vision faded and blanked out.
Patrick stood, left alone at the scene, as he exhaled, he turned sideways, looking at Thalgron's massive Scarletaur's head impaled on a crystallized blood spike. As someone who exists beyond the dimension of comprehension, emotions are but abstract notions, not even registered in his vocabulary.
"My work here is done," Patrick said, as he was no longer at the scene, his absence leaving a wake of extinction behind. An entire universe, hundreds of trillions of living organisms, all massacred with his bare hands, and their emperor, Thalgron, made to witness all this with his head impaled on a spike.
....
Athos
Inside the massive throne hall at the top of the Athosian Tree, Fairy Marine sat, crossed-legged on her throne, surrounded by countless illusiory interfaces. Displaying within the interfaces were universes, galaxies, and other worlds that were being conquered in the name of the Conqueror Supreme.
*"A.M.I., Percentage of conquered dimensions, worlds, and realms?" (*Athos Magical Intelligence.)
<+ Currently at 20%, God Fairy, with septillions of races exterminated. Do you wish to know the status of our warriors? +>
"No need, since they are my citizens, I am always aware of all their existences. As for the races that were exterminated, let's revive them and erase all memories of being exterminated first," Fairy Marine spoke as she waved her hands, her Bracelets of Nihility illuminating as her command brought back septillions of races from extinction.
"Next, link all conquered worlds to Athos and reform the citizens of those worlds to feel as if they have always been vassals of Athos."
As Fairy Marine spoke, one could see tens of septillions, no, hundreds of septillions, never mind, endless amounts of universes, worlds, domains, and dimensions being linked with Athos simultaneously. This action caused waves of unlimited omni Athosian energy to enter the Multiverse, sending rippling waves of dominance across all realms and causing the entire Cultivation Multiverse to tremble uncontrollably.
Ignoring this, Fairy Marine continued interacting with the M.I., accomplishing her task of conquering every realm, domain, and world before the One Above's return from the Desolate Realm.
But while Fairy Marine interacted with the A.M.I., a wisp of blue essence appeared in her view. Still, suddenly it multiplied by tens of thousands, then hundreds of thousands, before reaching millions and rising. The appearing essences doubled in quantity, lighting up the throne hall blue and overshadowing the countless M.I. interfaces.
Seeing the blue wisps, Fairy Marine also heard echoes of voices from each wisp as they reverberated within the hall.
"Oh, Ancient God Fairies of Salvia, we pray for mercy upon our race. Save us from being exterminated...oh, Ascended Ancient God Fairies, bless us with your grace and avatars so that we may live through this day..."
"Oh, Ancient God Fairies...
As the blue wisps of energy prayed, a sensation of faith energy arose within Fairy Marine, one similar to being worshipped as the god fairy of Athos.
"So, you have decided to attack me directly and draw me out of Athos, Immortal Cosmos. How more predictable could you ever become? Acting as gods, but to the One Above, your actions are like a play he had already directed, only set to transpire in real time, as it is now."
Fairy Marine murmured as she waved away the interfaces. Then, steadily rising from her throne, she extended her right arm as the countless blue wisps drifted towards her.
"Rest now, my little ones, I'm already here!"
Fairy Marine uttered, her figure vanishing with the countless blue wisps.
....
Simultaneously, in the universe Salvia, the God fairy Marine materialized above the planet wearing ancient, godly blue fairy clothing, with two blue illuminating bracelets on her wrists. Marine's appearance arrived with a reverberating and faith-enducing declaration.
"Rest now, my little ones, I'm already here."
