God Ash: Remnants of the fallen.-Chapter 1129: Concepts of Magic.
First was his understanding of the skill, {Warlock}.
From what he could tell, the most recent evolution was quite loaded with a ton of different sub abilities.
The most obvious one was the ease with which he could now process magic circles, his ability to analyse mana flow patterns, and of course, his mental processing.
Previously, he could split his mind to perform about five to six different things. Now, it was more than a dozen, perhaps closer to two dozen of he really put in the effort.
The increase was not only significant, it was also jarring.
If he had multiple arms and limbs, being able to control them all would not be an issue at all.
However, because he didn’t have so many arms, this feature was going to benefit his spell, {Fallen Stars of Orion} the most.
Being able to split his mental processing to so many things also facilitated something very handy — double casting, and perhaps even triple casting of different attribute spells all at once.
And of course, there was his control over mana.
Cain stretched a finger out.
From it, a wisp of a blue ethereal flame shot out.
In reality, it was not a flame. Not even close.
It was a wisp of mana. In its purest form.
It looked blue, but it really was more opaque and colorless.
Cain let the wisp float away from his finger.
The wisp flew away from him, floating freely and wildly through the air.
Then its form changed.
It formed a square box. Then an egg.
Then it was something more complex like a miniature Ruby and a small roaring dragon.
Then it dissipated into the wind.
Cain smirked.
The ability he had just used one he had learned a fairly long time ago in the form of {Mana Blade}— one of the first skills he had ever made.
However, now, instead of being confined to the shape of a blade, coating an actual blade, this could take on various different forms.
It was another sub ability of {Warlock}. However, he had no idea how to make much use of this.
Still, he wasn’t too worried. He just need to practice a bit more.
As for {Spirit Sense} and {Spirit Weaver}, both had become astronomically more powerful and prevalent.
{Spirit Sense} was so incredibly now, he could look as far as seeing down to the microscope scale. He could see his own cells and how strange and inhuman they were.
Although that bothered him, he decided to put it to the side for the moment.
{Spirit Weaver} on the other hand had been working on overdrive to strengthen his spirit. The rune had now taken the form of a strange, ethereal spider that had made best in the depths of his spirit, weaving strands upon strands of spirit essence to create the webs and tapestry that made up his spirit.
Of course, the {Spirit Weaver} had not suddenly become a sentient creature. However, it did act oddly similar to once, which also freaked him out to no end.
The {Spirit Weaver} could not only mend his broken spirit. It could also enhance it. And it did so by increasing the bulk or volume of his spirit, as well as increasing the strength of the webs of spirit essence, making his spirit much more durable.
And because of this his mana pool had only continues to grow.
The sea of mana within him was constantly swelling and churning. Normally, that was incredibly dangerous as a surplus of mana could very well lead to unnecessarily strange and dangerous mutations. But because of the corresponding strength of the vessel, which was his spirit, he had absolutely no reason to worry.
Probably...
Cain sighed.
He had also learned quite a few interesting things he didn’t know.
Hidden within the many tomes he had prolifered off of Azazel, there was quite a number of strange and unproven theories and concepts related to magic and magic application.
And while most of them seemed rather out there, there was one that really stuck with him.
According to the time, it was the magic concept of "Magical Unity."
This magical concept was based on the theory that the elemental variations of mana didn’t truly exist. They were simply constraints created as limits of the souls to better understand what wa never meant to b understood.
And so, with that theory as the base, the concept revolved around the breaking of said limits. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
And while the concept of elemental mana was out away, that didn’t mean the theory said to discard it.
In fact, it had been quite the opposite. The author of the tome, who he could only assume was Azazel himself, had based his theory solely of eliminating limits.
The theory was very rich with all sorts of strange concepts and rather out there ideas for potential and new forms of magic, not just limited solely to elemental constraints.
Such a thing filled his mind with strange thoughts, making his eager to try out new things.
But the more he thought about it, the more he knew he had to convince himself that the so-called incredible theory was just the musings of mad demon.
However, it was incredible food for thought and he realized, it could serve to be the catalyst of the changes that would be coming to his spells and magic skills.
And so, with a lot of thoughts in his mind, he spent the whole day pondering.
When night came, he sank back into his tent to ponder some more.
Thankfully, there was most shortage of paper in his inventory, so he could draw as many magic circles as his arms would allow before giving out,t which was not a lot.
And so, he had chosen to do most of the experimentation mentally before bringing it into the physical reality.
The more runes he came to study, the deeper he found engrossed in the thousands of pages of magical literature he poured over.
