God Ash: Remnants of the fallen.-Chapter 1127: Shock.
The change was a bit more dramatic than he had thought it would have been.
By the time Cain arrived back at the camp and slinked back into his tent, the changes had already begun to kick in.
First wa the gradual loss of his senses. He was a bit confused as to why that was the first to go.
Then, there was an overwhelming weakness that except into his beings.
From the soles of his feet, all the way to the tip of his ears.
Even. He could also feel his physique become worse as his densely packed muscles shrank until it felt like he was skin and bones.
Although that was a bit different from the reality, it didn’t change the fact that that was how he felt.
In about an hour, the process was complete.
Cain lay there frozen as he struggled to adjust to the unbearable weight of his own body.
In fact, he felt so heavy, he could only just barely turn his head.
The feeling of strength and power he had gotten used to was completely gone now.
However, in its place, another from of strength appeared.
The strange, ethereal energy that was mama slowly began to fill him.
Not just his physical body, but also his spirit one.
His awareness of his spirit returned slowly as well.
As his eyesight and hearing became worse, Nero felt something he had missed for a long time begin to reawaken.
He silently activated the spell...
{Observer’s Eye}.
The dimensions of perception were completely ignored as his senses soared out of his body.
The eyes that could see anything and everything.
The world became much clearer than it originally was.
Everything seemed bright and colorful, with nothing being able to escape his sights.
Cain slowly sat up, his arms trembling as he used them to support his weight.
Breathing heavily, he opened his stat window.
’Simce my physical stats matter the least right now, the best thing I can do is to pour all my free attribute points into both magic and spirit.
That was a hundred thousand points split two ways.
Not only was that inconceivably large, it also feltike over kill.
However, when he considered the types of enemies he had been facing as of late, he couldn’t stop himself from thinking it was even more of a better idea than he initially thought.

Despite his body being weak, Cain, for the first time ever, felt the greatness of having his mind truly, and fully opened.
He sucked in a very deep breath of the cold night air.
Then he exploded into a coughing fit.
"Crap."
Right now, his body was little different from that of a regular human.
His physical abilities were completely sealed.
Even worse, his physical stats had also taken a great hit. Even now, he was able to survive from the elements, only because of his various resistances.
If not, he would have turned into a popsicle a long time ago
He let out a mouthful of cloudy air then quickly activated the metal enchantment of {Burning Spirit}.
He also began making use of the {Sunflame Body Tempering Technique} as well as summoning a few fiery {Flame Orbs} to offset the chill.
With all these, he was able to get by, albeit just barely.
With the {Flame Orbs} floating above his body, the tent was filled with both heat and light.
"Unlike with the first part of the quest, I’m much more vulnerable now."
Cain spoke his thoughts out loud.
He huffed deeply.
He needed more than what he currently had if he was to survive for a month like this.
And what that entailed, was relearning the basics of magic, as well as getting used to his current state.
He laid his options before his eyes as he considered what steps to take.
He had a whole ton of spells, so there was no need to increase their volume.
"Instead, I will be focusing on advancing every single one of them. Making them far more powerful than they have ever been."
He recalled Nebula’s skill that was very similar to his {Divine Essence of Metallurgy}.
That spell had been more crude and sophisticated than his had been at the same time, making a rather jarring contrast.
He huffed,
"One step at a time."
Eventually, he would be getting to managing the {Divine Essence of Metallurgy}.
However, before any of that could be done, he was in order for quite the extensive study session...
