Chapter 438: Chapter 439: Undead Race Miracles! Controlling All Quanrong People!

Qiu Tiansheng’s recent statements were certainly not made in madness.

The Heaven-Fighting Race and their Slave Race regularly launch sweeping raids against Earth Flame Mountain.

At such times, Qiu Tiansheng and his people have only two options.

First is to hide in place; second is temporary retreat.

Hiding in place relies entirely on luck and cannot accommodate many people.

If they aren’t discovered by the Heaven-Fighting Race and their Slave Race, those hiding will survive post-raid.

If discovered, death is their only fate.

Temporarily retreating Earth Flame Mountain is certainly not foolproof.

Before the Heaven-Fighting Race starts their raid, ambushes and traps are set around.

Each retreat results in many deaths and subsequent pursuit by the Heaven-Fighting Race.

If not for the area’s abundant cultivation resources, Qiu Tiansheng would rather leave entirely.

Qiu Tiansheng’s suggestions were dismissed by the Grand Elder.

Grand Elder Qiu Yang calmly stated, "The imbalance in enemy and our forces is vast, so we must endure humiliation and burden to accumulate strength."

"Leaving Earth Flame Mountain still exposes us to pursuit and difficult acquisition of cultivation resources."

"Indeed, many of our people have died, but those who survive are growing rapidly stronger."

"Unless we find a better place or another solution."

"Otherwise, we can only face the Heaven-Fighting Race’s sweeps as we have in the past."

"Given the current situation, sacrifices are inevitable."

"Never waver in maintaining the belief in holding on regardless of circumstances." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Grand Elder Qiu Yang’s words brought reasoning to brothers Qiu Tiansheng and Qiu Donglai.

Qiu Tiansheng no longer spoke of desperate battles against the Heaven-Fighting Race but sighed deeply, lamenting:

"Who knows how many will die this time."

Outside Earth Flame Mountain, Gu Qijue, along with Lin Miaoyin, arrived at the rear of the Quanrong Race’s encampment.

The Quanrong Race, being one of the Heaven-Fighting Race’s Slave Races, gathered here to block the Creatures of Ten Thousand Races.

The Quanrong Race is extremely ferocious, a tribe that eats raw meat and drinks blood.

The creatures caught by them are not merely killed but used by the Quanrong Race as food.

The Quanrong Race has two forms: one like a large ferocious dog, and another like a kobold.

Upon reaching the rear of the Quanrong’s camp, Lin Miaoyin couldn’t help but ask, "Teacher, why are we here?"

Gu Qijue casually replied, "There’s a Necromancer Crystal Ore Vein here; I plan to take it away."

Lin Miaoyin was taken aback, her big eyes somewhat incredulous as she asked, "Is it really there? Why haven’t I felt it?"

Gu Qijue nodded, "It really is here; you didn’t sense it because your skills are too weak."

Lin Miaoyin held great trust in Gu Qijue’s words.

After glancing around, she continued to ask:

"Teacher, even if there is a Necromancer Crystal Ore Vein here, wouldn’t it be impossible to extract?"

"This place is packed with many Quanrong, and they probably won’t leave for a while."

"If we stay here too long, we’re likely to be discovered by the Quanrong or the Heaven-Fighting Race."

Despite her young age, Lin Miaoyin had survived for a reason.

While she might not know much else, she knew how to survive under the eyes of the Heaven-Fighting Race and their minions.

Gu Qijue nodded, affirming Lin Miaoyin’s concerns.

He quickly continued, "We don’t need to worry about being discovered by the Quanrong Race because I plan to kill all the Quanrong here."

This area has at least fifty thousand Quanrong; a massacre is bound to attract the Heaven-Fighting Race.

However, the Resentment Avatar, more precisely the Spirit Race Avatar, holds numerous mystical aspects.

Gu Qijue could silently transform these Quanrong into Undead Warriors without a trace.

Before Lin Miaoyin could ask further, Gu Qijue moved swiftly, transforming into black smoke enveloping her.

Then, the two smoke trails, one large one small, flew towards a Quanrong encampment.

The Quanrong were feasting, most in the large ferocious dog form.

Only a few engaged in cultivation remained in kobold form.

Tendrils of black mist appeared eerily in the encampment.

These mists gradually assimilated the Quanrong’s souls, and soon, every Quanrong froze their actions.

One by one, they fervently knelt in front of Gu Qijue and Lin Miaoyin.

Gu Qijue glanced at the cooking utensils used by the Quanrong; a feeling of disgust washed over him.

Whether it was the Human Race or any other race, they were essentially a part of the Quanrong’s menu.

Fortunately, the Quanrong now were walking corpses, their souls absorbed by necromantic energy and quietly killed by Gu Qijue.

As the Undead, they no longer needed to eat such repugnant food, only needing to absorb necromantic energy.

Gu Qijue left Lin Miaoyin in this camp.

He then proceeded similarly, dealing with the remaining kobolds.

The number of Quanrong was vast, but their power was weak.

Most Quanrong merely possessed F-Tier strength, with E-Tier among them rarely seen.

Yet, as long as their numbers were sufficient, a High-Tier Undead could be formed.

Gu Qijue anticipated finding several D-Tier, if not C-Tier Quanrong here.

But upon completion, realized he was mistaken.

The strongest here was surprisingly merely the Peak of E Tier Quanrong.

Absence of high-tier Quanrong made controlling this encampment easy for him.

In the camp of the Quanrong leader, the leader too was assimilated into the undead by Gu Qijue.

Under Gu Qijue’s control, the Peak of E Tier Quanrong leader absorbed vast amounts of Energy Stone.

Thus raising from the Peak of E Tier up to the D-Tier Cosmic Level.

Gu Qijue used Energy Stones, not because he had excess to squander.

The purpose was to make the leader work.

After reaching D-Tier, Gu Qijue commanded the burly kobold:

"There’s a Necromancer Crystal Ore Vein underneath; dig out the Necromancer Crystal."

The Quanrong leader didn’t speak, only respectfully bowed before digging.

Given it was a D-Tier Undead, efficiency was high.

Half a day’s work opened up a specialized mining tunnel.

Gu Qijue soon had the Necromancer Crystal brought to him.

It was a violet-hued crystal, containing pure necromantic energy.

This was greatly nourishing for Gu Qijue’s Spirit Race Avatar and his Undead Warriors.

Unfortunately, the Necromancer Crystal Ore Vein was small, yielding limited resources.
