Chapter 59: Chapter 57: Dog Head Military Advisor Training Program

Bald Qiang and the others received a call from the boss and arrived at the old house within fifteen minutes, standing respectfully in a row in front of him.

"Hello, Big Brother!"

"Hello, Brother Er Gou!"

Hang Yu, sitting on the vine chair, asked, "How were the gains this time in the Spirit Realm?"

Bald Qiang quickly said, "Thanks to the equipment you provided, it went relatively smoothly. I’m about to reach level 2, and though the other two are a bit behind, they’ve also made significant progress." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"The reason I called you here today is to give some instructions."

Hang Yu pointed at the Husky lying by his side and said, "From now on, Er Gou will join you. In the future, if you can’t find me, he can give orders on my behalf. Understand?"

The Husky wagged its tail happily, excitedly wanting to jump in circles.

Wow, the boss is amazing, assigning some humans to work under me.

Who would’ve thought that Brother Dog, who pretended to be powerful, could one day actually become Brother Dog in society.

Everyone’s expressions turned peculiar.

Even though they called the Husky Brother Dog, Er Gou is, in the end, just a dog!

Following an Erha Spirit as a leader — any normal person would find it a bit unsettling, right?

However,

The next words from Hang Yu,

Not only completely dispelled all their doubts,

But also made them decide to treat Brother Dog like a deity in the future.

"I’m planning to set aside 20 million in cash to establish a Cyan Dragon Community Development Fund for team building, personnel training, and property acquisition within Cyan Dragon Alley. Er Gou will be my financial director."

"You shouldn’t worry about anything. As long as you do your job well, there’s plenty of money and resources. Understand?"

The three of them now had expressions of sheer amazement.

They nearly nodded their heads off.

That’s 20 million.

Not two thousand bucks!

A huge sum ordinary people wouldn’t earn in a lifetime of hard work!

The boss handed over the money without batting an eye, entrusting it to a Husky to manage...

What is called opulence?

This is called opulence!

Who would’ve thought the boss valued this dog so much!

From now on, it’s crucial to maintain a good relationship with Brother Dog!

Hang Yu sold his Spirit Realm equipment for 24.5 million cash.

He allocated 20 million without hesitation, not because he’s so generous.

The economic system of the real world is under increasing pressure — though cash is still in demand, it can quickly depreciate in hand. It’s best to spend it quickly and invest in valuable areas.

Bald Qiang needs money to recruit people and form a team. Who would join you without money?

Pang Hu needs lots of resources to practice artifact refining and become a Spiritual Artisan!

Monkey was tasked by Hang Yu to establish good relations with the neighbors in Cyan Dragon Community, inevitably helping with problems and buying gifts like cigarettes and alcohol. He also helps Hang Yu lease or buy vacant houses.

Money experiences inflation and depreciation.

Spirit Lands, however, absolutely do not devalue.

Especially in the Cyan Dragon Alley area, every inch will be incredibly valuable in the future!

Hang Yu reviewed resident information and found the vacancy rate is quite high in Cyan Dragon Alley, a village in the city.

Whether through leasing or purchase, you can acquire significant land without much hassle.

These residences can serve as a base for Er Gou’s Dog’s Legion or housing for Bald Qiang and his team.

More importantly,

Accumulating Spirit Land holds strategic value.

Ordinary land cannot grow Spirit Plants; only Spirit Lands can cultivate various Spirit Plants.

Most future resources for medicine refining and other productions will be grown on Spirit Land, making it crucial to own a powerful piece of Spirit Land.

Even though property prices have slumped, acquiring real estate still requires a lot of money.

There are numerous places to spend money now; 20 million is really not much.

"This Spirit Farmer book is something I just got, and it’s quite valuable. Consider it my advance to you. Take it and use it." Hang Yu took out a book from the Storage Space and handed it to Monkey, "Work hard, and don’t let me down!"

"Thanks, Big Brother!"

Monkey was very excited.

This thing is quite like a skill book, obviously a very valuable treasure.

With the new Spirit Farmer Cultivation Skill, Monkey can accelerate the cultivation of the tree spirits.

In about half a month’s time, the two tree spirits could be cultivated into Golden Elite Monsters.

Even Hang Yu, at this stage, dared not solo a Bronze Elite, but if the old house has two Golden Elites guarding it in the future, unless tanks are driven into the Cyan Dragon Community, ordinary thieves cannot pose a threat.

The three reported their recent progress to Hang Yu.

Bald Qiang has gathered over ten brothers and now established the Cyan Dragon Search Team.

This team immediately began operations, acting according to the strategy directed by Hang Yu.

Monkey successfully contacted agents or directly approached homeowners, and now that the money is in place, several Cyan Dragon Alley properties can be quickly acquired.

Pang Hu said to Hang Yu, "With the materials you gave me last time, I think I made a piece of equipment, but..."

"What?" Hang Yu was a bit surprised: "You could actually refine equipment? Let me see!"

Pang Hu took out a pair of gray shorts.

Very crude and simple, yet the surface was faintly glowing gray, indicating it was a gray-quality Spirit Realm equipment.

Hang Yu opened the Spirit Realm Assistant on his phone.

The attributes of these shorts displayed on the phone.

"Inferior Wool Shorts," Level 1 Equipment, Gray Lower Grade Quality, Durability 5.

This equipment had no attribute bonuses whatsoever.

No different from trash.

Even the starter’s big shorts at least add a bit of physical defense!

Hang Yu’s eyes lit up; he really didn’t expect that Pang Hu could make equipment.

It was mentioned before.

Spiritual Artisans usually have two paths to make equipment.

The first is to make equipment based on existing materials.

The second is to find materials based on a blueprint to customize equipment.

The former is very material-intensive, while the latter is quite laborious, each has its pros and cons.

"Can you still make this piece of equipment?"

"Ever since making these shorts, I seem to have automatically comprehended the specific method. If I have enough Blade Sheep wool as material, I should have over a fifty percent success rate."

"Great!" Hang Yu said with satisfaction, "Go near the Jiangbei Subway Station and collect wool, then make all of them into such shorts."

Pang Hu was a bit puzzled: "Boss, these shorts don’t have attributes..."

"Nonsense, you have to eat food bite by bite, do you still want to achieve everything in one go?"

Hang Yu tossed the wool shorts to Pang Hu.

"Now, how many people in the Spirit Realm still don’t have pants to wear?"

"Although these shorts don’t have attributes, they can be directly brought into the Spirit Realm. After making them, selling each for a thousand or two shouldn’t be a problem. Use the money earned to continue buying wool, understand my point?"

"Jiang City has a population of over ten million. Even if there are still over a hundred thousand people naked in the Spirit Realm, have you considered how big a market these hundred thousand people represent? From the money earned here, more materials can be acquired to further improve your artifact refining abilities."

Pang Hu’s eyes instantly lit up.

The boss is indeed the boss, seeing far ahead.

Hang Yu waved his hand: "Alright, hurry up and get to work, don’t waste time here."

Bald Qiang and the others took their leave.

Wang Ergou suddenly sighed: "Boss, I find that fate is unpredictable, always full of ups and downs, truly making it hard to comprehend."

Hang Yu gave him a glance: "Please recognize your species, okay? You’re just a Husky, where does a Erha get so much contemplation about dog life?"

The Husky happily stuck out its tongue and said: "Woof, just a few days ago, I was down and out on the streets. In the blink of an eye, I didn’t expect to be a millionaire dog. Isn’t fate amazing!"

"The money isn’t yours, it’s just for you to manage, and don’t get too complacent too early; with greater responsibility comes greater capability." Hang Yu patted the dog’s head, "Come in with me, I’ll let you understand the true wonder of fate."

The Husky followed the boss into a room.

Inside the room, stacks of thick books were placed on the table.

Erha scanned the book titles: "Capital", "The Wealth of Nations", "Principles of Scientific Management", "Industrial and General Administration", "Economics and Society", "The Art of War", "Thick Black Theory"...

Dog was surprised and started howling: "Boss, did you just buy these books? Humans indeed are a species that loves learning; my respect for the boss is like the continuous flow of the Yellow River..."

Hang Yu laughed.

"Your boss has been reading for more than ten years, well-read and knowledgeable, my education level is long sufficient." He laughingly stroked the dog’s head and said, "Honestly, I now feel like vomiting at the sight of books!"

The Erha Spirit realized something.

He widened his dog eyes and staggered back two steps, "Could it be..."

At this moment, the Husky had a very bad premonition!

"From now on, you’ll be my assistant. You must learn what needs to be learned, understand?" Hang Yu pointed at the pile of thick books in front, "These are all works on economics and management; this is just the first batch, more are coming. Besides, you need to catch up on literature, history, and languages, follow me and even as a dog, you need to be cultured."

Rolling its eyes and stiffening its limbs.

The Husky was hit hard and fainted straight away.

Hang Yu remained unmoved, the Husky is indeed a dog talent that should be well carved and polished.

At least the Erha was eating wisdom fruits of epic level and above, its brain domain is highly developed, memory and learning abilities are likely stronger than Hang Yu’s, harboring potential to become a scholar dog.

Why can’t it learn economics, management, or history?

Why can’t it learn several foreign languages?

Why can’t it fluently recite the Three Hundred Tang Poems?

Why can’t it study The Art of War?

Isn’t this just making the best use of a resource? It’s all for the dog’s good!

Might indeed become his personal assistant if the unreliable Husky nature is overlooked.

Hang Yu is super busy focusing his energy on becoming stronger, while team building, financial management, and personnel management—these trivial matters, if possible to delegate to the dog, why should he worry?

(PS: The following content is unrelated to the main text.)

Little Fish has been reading for more than a decade, writing for seven or eight years.

So deeply aware that every book has controversial characters.

But what Little Fish never expected is that, up to now, the most controversial character in this book...is actually a dog.

Some find Wang Ergou fascinating and enjoyable; some find Er Gou talkative, cowardly, and not strong enough hence annoying.

The recent days brought a lot of feedback to Little Fish.

Some readers have suggested Little Fish abandon the dog, even threatening with abandoning the book. Of course, other readers argued an earthly dog is of low taste, suggesting to adopt a Taotie or Ying Long as the spirit pet.

Apologies.

Little Fish can understand but cannot accept this.

Little Fish also won’t give up on any role in the book.

It’s a matter of principle, no possibility of compromise.

This book probably won’t have Taotie available as pets for the protagonist, as it doesn’t harmonize with the current overall style.

Every character has their own position, right? We shouldn’t discriminate against Dog, shouldn’t we?

Humans, even so weak, can grow stronger through the Spirit Realm. Why can’t a dog with awakened intelligence?

Hope readers won’t look down on Dog just because he’s from Earth!

If hoping Little Fish abandons Dog, or hopes to see the protagonist flaunt through the city on a Divine Dragon or Taotie, Little Fish can only apologize.

I’ll continue to write following what I believe to be the best approach, hoping everyone can support and believe in Little Fish. If some readers really can’t accept it, although it’ll be a pity, I can only suggest changing channels.

But despite everything, hope everyone communicates politely.

Thank you.
