Global Game: Crazy Mobile App-Chapter 102: Three Rivers Reflections
Little Fish is really happy!
Thank you so much for everyone’s support!
OK, that concludes the entire sentiment from Sanjiang.
Today marks the first official single Chapter release of this book.
The main purpose is to respond and answer some questions for new and old readers.
[First, the update issue.]
The new book period will always be two Chapters daily.
Little Fish has always updated before noon.
The two Chapters are released together, have never been missed, and no leave has ever been taken.
Some friends suggested Little Fish break the updates into two, with one Chapter at noon and another at night, which would make the performance and stats look a bit better.
Little Fish thought about it but didn’t do it, partly because I find it troublesome, and partly because I don’t want to bother everyone. To take care of the reading experience, the Chapters have always been released together.
The update speed will increase after it’s launched.
At that time, Little Fish will announce it specifically.
[Second, handling of real-life figures.]
Many readers have complained about this.
Some readers think it’s strange to include real celebrities in the book, and in earlier Chapters, Little Fish mentioned something about this.
The book may include some big shots or celebrities like Jack Ma, Ma Huateng, Li Ka-shing, Buffett, Bill Gates, and Young Master Cong, who have already appeared with roles, but most of these people show up as background characters.
Only a few may have short-term collaborations with the protagonist, including teaming up to fight monsters or trading items, but these types of characters in Little Fish’s book are considered secondary roles, and won’t appear very frequently.
These characters could be written or not written.
The core plot and main line are driven by original characters. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Little Fish just wants to enhance the reading fun, hoping readers treat them as someone from another parallel world, as much as possible don’t deliberately connect the dots.
Of course.
Little Fish will also be mindful to control the screen time.
Making these characters appear within a reasonable range.
Little Fish will stick to the writing bottom line, but as long as it’s beyond this line, I will also respect every reader’s feelings, and make targeted adjustments and reductions if necessary.
Any unsatisfactory parts, I will change.
[Third, interaction between the real world and the Spirit Realm]
Some readers wish to abandon the reality part.
Let Little Fish focus solely on the adventure in the Spirit Realm.
This request, sorry, Little Fish can’t do it, it’s absolutely impossible to change.
If you think of the worldview as a game, then actually the Spirit Realm is the wilderness, and the real world is the core Main City in the game. A game player can’t possibly stay always in the wilderness fighting monsters, right?
Every book has its rhythm, once this rhythm is broken, the reading experience goes down. No matter how brilliantly Little Fish writes the monster-fighting adventure, it will eventually lead to aesthetic fatigue, and then the book can’t be written long.
Moreover, reality and the Spirit Realm are inherently interconnected.
People can also have adventures, produce, and become stronger in the real world.
The real world is indispensable in the earlier and middle stages of this book and is a crucial part of constructing the worldview.
What Little Fish can do is better interlink and integrate the city plot with the Spirit Realm plot, to achieve smooth transitions and mutual foreshadowing.
In the book, currently, the Spirit Realm opens every three days.
This ratio was formulated by Little Fish based on writing experience and intuition, but this ratio is not fixed.
As the Spirit Realm deepens and the plot continually advances, the opening cycle of the Spirit Realm will shorten, and in the later stage of this book, the two worlds will fully merge.
We’ll avoid giving too much away on the specific setting.
Hope everyone trusts Little Fish’s writing experience and storytelling ability.
[Fourth, is the progress of this book too slow?]
Some readers think the book progress is too slow.
The main reason is that the protagonist is only level 4 until now.
But Little Fish believes level and progress are not related, and the two cannot be equated.
If fast leveling equates to fast progress, Little Fish could completely set a few hundred or thousand level cap, then level up ten or eight levels after each plot, but by doing so, the level becomes meaningless.
Actually, the level setting of this book is somewhat similar to DND (Dungeons & Dragons), the level cap may not be set very high, not surprisingly there shouldn’t be monsters with hundreds of levels, but each level up will have more quality.
Little Fish thinks the reason everyone feels it’s slow is because of the description issue.
If each level is changed to the small realm in fantasy novels, currently at the fourth small realm would be quite normal.
[Fifth, what exactly is the genre of this book.]
This question has been debated by many readers.
This book has a strong online game vibe, but it’s not completely an online game, it has elements like apocalypse crisis and spiritual qi revival in it.
Some believe this book is apocalyptic literature.
And thus criticize it for lacking a sense of crisis.
Some identify the book as online game literature.
And thus use common online game tropes for critique.
However, Little Fish has never defined the genre of this book, because in my view, the genre itself is not important, the key is to write a good story.
The genre itself is just a vehicle for the story, if the story is written for the genre’s sake, wouldn’t that be putting the cart before the horse?
......
These are all the questions Little Fish can think of for now.
If there are more questions, feel free to raise them, I will answer them one by one when there’s an opportunity later, but I hope everyone uses civil language, try to avoid using terms that can easily cause a stir, or the post might be locked or deleted, as it’s currently Sanjiang recommendation period.
A new week has started.
Requesting recommendation votes!
Support is needed during the Sanjiang period.
