Just as the vine was about to whip An Shihua, the Jing University Principal intervened in the nick of time, using his own body to block the massive vine from Old Shu’s attack.
Seeing this, An Shihua immediately turned tail and fled without a word. She didn’t dare linger.
Watching An Shihua’s fleeing figure, Su Yan, who had already retreated to a safe area, couldn’t help but narrow his eyes, feeling that something was amiss.
This Old Shu... Why, with so many people in the gymnasium, is it specifically attacking An Shihua, who is also a Demonic Plant? There’s something fishy...

Members of the Student Council and the faculty members who happened to be on campus fought fiercely against hundreds, if not thousands, of Demonic Plants.
Regrettably, the number of Demonic Plants was simply too great. Most were high-level Demonic Plants, within the Legendary Level Category. With only a few dozen Student Council members and a dozen or so faculty members, they were quickly overwhelmed and struggled to hold their ground. In fact, some were even struggling to protect themselves. They could only watch as students with lower Creature Levels were attacked one after another by the Demonic Plants.
Witnessing this scene, Su Yan sighed deeply. "Alas, it truly is a ’survival of the fittest’ world in this Evolution World..."
With that said, he flickered into action and began his slaughter of the Demonic Plants.
