Global Awakening: Infinite Gift Pack System-Chapter 153: The Artisan
Ding!
[ Notification: Talent Upgrade complete. ]
[ Current Talent: Infinite Gift Pack (SSS) ]
[ Reminder: Further evolution possible with additional Talent Upgrade Crystals. ]
Kai exhaled slowly after seeing the crystal dissolving into light.
"Perfect... this is exactly what I needed."
He couldn’t help but smile as soon as he confirmed the improvement!
"And I can actually get both the Basic and Enhanced versions of gift packs! This is amazing!"
There was no way he wouldn’t be excited about this.
Without hesitiation Kai checked his current status.
[ Name: Kai ]
[ Title: Skilled Survivor, Trailblazer, Siege Breaker, Guardian, Strongest One ]
[ Level: 30 ]
[ Health: 1,600/1,600 ]
[ Spirit: 250/250 ]
[ Physique Rating: C ]
[ Talent: Infinite Gift Pack (SSS) ]
[ Active Skills: Spirit Pulse Lv5, Specter Step Lv3, Fast Appraisal Lv2 ]
[ Passive Skills: Keen Sense Lv5, Bio Adaptive Constitution Lv5, Battle Trance Lv3, Bronze Skin Lv2 ]
[ Skill Points: 4 ]
Kai smiled as he saw his Skill level up. Obviously, most of it was thanks to his Trailblazer Title, which made his Skill Mastery improve quickly. The 30% boost was just too incredible if he used the skill every time.
After all, his Siege Breaker Title gives him fast Spirit Recovery, allowing him to use Gene Skills more times than others.
Anyway, now that he had an Enhanced Gift Pack, it was time to say goodbye to his revolver that could only fire six bullets!
He knew already that the Weapons Gift Pack in this new version would provide a semi‑automatic pistol with 17 rounds in each magazine.
Without a doubt, his revolvers could now retire. At the very least, he would let his subordinates take care of them.
Furthermore, no more Free Gift Packs... It was possible for Basic Gift Packs, but they really had to pay him with Survivor Medals, Energy Cores, or other things if they wanted his Enhanced Gift Packs!
Soon, he triggered his Talent, and a familiar menu appeared.
[ Basic Gift Pack Selection ]
[ Enhanced Gift Pack Selection ]
As expected, he now had two options!
He then swiftly checked the Enhanced Gift Pack and soon, the 10 options appeared. They were all similar, but they had an enhanced description on them.
[ Enhanced Energy Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Entertainment Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Food Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Medical Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Shelter Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Stealth Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Survival Tools Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Transport Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Water Gift Pack ]
[ Enhanced Weapon Gift Pack ]
He had first encountered this version of this after reaching Level 10. Thanks to that, he was already quite familiar with the items he could get from them.
Still, he wanted to make sure of it!
Then, he selected the Weapon Gift Pack and swiftly opened it!
[ You have selected Weapon Gift Pack (Enhanced) ]
Then, Kai opened it from his inventory, and soon, various items appeared in front of him.
There was the familiar semi‑automatic pistol with five spare magazines.
There was also an axe, a combat knife, a holster for his gun, and finally, two boxes of extra ammunition, and each box contained 40 bullets each!
Kai’s eyes lit up as he held the pistol in his hands.
The weight was solid, balanced, and far superior to the revolver he had relied on until now. Seventeen rounds per magazine... it was a massive improvement in firepower and reliability.
He gave the weapon a quick inspection, sliding the magazine in place and pulling the slide back with a satisfying click.
"This... this is exactly what I needed," he muttered.
It was similar to the pistol he got before, but that one was just stored back in the shelter since he no longer had any bullets.
"Alright! You’re mine now..."
Without hesitation, Kai holstered the new pistol at his side. He placed his old revolver back into its holster, deciding to keep it as a backup, while the spare revolvers and ammunition were packed into his backpack. After all, once items were opened from a Gift Pack, they couldn’t be returned to his inventory.
Then, the axe and combat knife were strapped securely...
Everything had its place since Kai was meticulous about his gear.
Satisfied, he adjusted the Chameleon Cloak around his shoulders and glanced at Atom, who was already prepared to move.
"Let’s head back," Kai said firmly.
Together, they slipped away from the compound, leaving behind the broken patrol routes...
As for the slaves trapped inside the A.I. base, Kai could only hope they continued to endure. Their time would come, but for now, survival was all they had.
With his new weapon and enhanced talent, Kai knew that he’d be able to conquer this base really soon!

In the meantime, Elena had just finished tending to the injured scouts.
Russel and Augustine seemed to have encountered Dragoons and were injured in the battle. Both had suffered deep lacerations from the mechanized blades, and Russel’s arm was fractured when he tried to block a strike. Augustine had burns across his shoulder from a Dragoon’s plasma shot, leaving him weak and barely able to move.
Although she wasn’t blessed with healing Talents or medical Gene Skills, she had something just as valuable, her training as a registered nurse back on Earth.
That knowledge allowed her to assist Irene, the head nurse, with diagnosis, wound care, and basic treatment.
Even without system‑granted abilities, Elena’s steady hands and calm presence made her indispensable.
But her true gift lay elsewhere...
When the system had first awakened her Talent, it wasn’t combat‑related.
Instead, it was production‑based talent!
[ Artisan (Master): Greatly improves efficiency and quality when crafting weapons, armor, and tools. Crafted items gain durability and minor stat bonuses. ]
This Talent had quickly turned Elena into the shelter’s workshop specialist... or so she thought.
After all, they do not really have many materials she could use aside from the scavenged parts of the Sentinels, Hounds, and other Mechanized Soldiers. Furthermore, there was a limit to her Rare Talent...
"Kai... I’ll make sure that you won’t regret giving this to me..." Elena muttered as she looked at the Blueprint in her hands!
