Chapter 1051: The Eclipse’s Defense

"Well, that just happened..." Raze muttered as she confirmed the deaths of the Zombie Lords and Zombie Kings...

Just like that, the siege had ended, and they had many Zombies to loot.

"Hey! Let me loot the Zombie Lord’s red crystals! I have that special item from Shane." Raze said, referring to the Lootkeeper’s Timepiece.

[ Loot Keeper’s Timepiece: Crafted by an unknown being, this timepiece allows the wielder to manipulate the loot you’ll get from the Zombies!

Effects: 5 Times Loot ( Once per day )

Soon, Raze stepped forward and looked at the five Lord’s red crystals that they had left behind.

She could only use the Timepiece once a day, so she considered which Zombie Lord’s crystal must be looted...

"I’ll loot Syth, the Shadow Reaper..." Raze muttered. Syth’s ability was so impressive. The projectiles coming at her would sometimes pass through her body.

Only when Syth got overwhelmed and failed to hide from all the injectors did she finally fail.

After seeing the crystals, the system prompt appeared before her eyes:

[ Do you want to retrieve the loot? ]

"Yes." Raze answered after activating the Timepiece.

Then, the system confirmed the looting process.

The notifications followed:

[ You have earned 5,000 Experience Points. ]

[ You have earned 100 Reputation Points. ]

[ Loots obtained: Item Upgrade Crystal x100, Zombie Cores x100, Shadow Essence x20, Lord‑Tier Bone Fragments x30, 200mL Shadow Lord Blood, Spirit Enhancement Bottle x20, Vitality Enhancement Bottle x20, Agility Enhancement Bottle x20, Shadow Mask x1, Shadow Skill Scroll x1, Shadow Talent Scroll x1, Shadow Mantle x1, Shadow Plate Armor x1, Shadow Gauntlets x1, Shadow Belt x1, Shadow Greaves x1, Shadow Boots x1 ] x5

Raze couldn’t help but smile after seeing the loot... It was a lot!

Furthermore, she got five of each of them, allowing her to equip five people with the Shadow Set! This would definitely make Tessa happy!

Of course, after confirming the victory, the defenders also erupted in cheers. The mechs powered down, their pilots exhausted but triumphant.

Klara lowered her injector rifle, her team was also smiling despite their fatigue. Even Layla collapsed to one knee. She could finally relaxed and she’d probably need a few days of rest since she had used and consumed too many Spirit Points and it had strained her body a lot.

Nonetheless, the Springriver Manor had survived.

The Overlord Clan, watching from the forest, could only leave silently, knowing that further battle would be disastrous on their side.

***

In the meantime, the Eclipse Domain had also gotten busy.

The defenders on the walls braced themselves, knowing that another wave of the Overlord Alliance had arrived.

At the forward command post, the leaders of the three attacking clans gathered around a tactical display.

Commander Cross of the Crimson Shield Clan slammed his gauntleted fist onto the table.

"Our armored vehicles are ready. The Barrier Generators will hold against their turrets long enough for us to advance. Once we’re close, their snipers won’t matter."

Lord Khan of the Thunder Roar Clan grinned.

"Good. While your shields crawl forward, my siege machines will hammer their walls. Every strike will drain their barrier’s energy. They’ll be forced to divert power just to keep it standing. This should be perfect."

Master Ren of the River Flow Clan stood silently for a moment, his warriors behind him were calm and just waiting for instructions.

After confirming their plan, he finally spoke. "When the gates open, we will strike. Once inside, our Sword Style will be unstoppable. Eclipse Domain will drown beneath our blades."

The three leaders exchanged nods. The plan was set.

Moments later, the battle finally began.

The Crimson Shield Clan’s armored vehicles rolled forward in formation, and their heavy plating was soon tested under the flashes of fire.

Mounted atop each vehicle were mobile Barrier Generators, projecting shimmering domes of energy that overlapped to form a moving wall.

"Advance!" Commander Cross roared.

The vehicles crept forward under the hail of turret fire. Energy lances from Eclipse Domain’s defenses slammed into the barriers, but the overlapping fields absorbed the impact. Sniper rounds ricocheted harmlessly, their momentum lost against the shields.

However, because of the thick shield, no one can fireback from within the dome. All of its energy was focused on blocking anything.

Behind the barrier or dome, Crimson Shield warriors just marched steadily with their massive tower shields raised, just in case a projectile passed through.

They were the backbone of the assault, and their discipline was also unshaken even as explosions rocked the ground.

At the same time, the Thunder Roar Clan’s siege machines opened fire.

Massive ballista-like constructs, powered by lightning cores, hurled bolts crackling with electricity.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Each strike detonated against Eclipse Domain’s barrier, sending shockwaves across its surface.

"Keep firing!" Lord Khan shouted.

"Drain their energy! Make them bleed power!"

The defenders inside Eclipse Domain scrambled to reinforce their barrier. They were even shooting at the projectiles coming at them to detonate the explosives midair.

After all, every strike from the Thunder Roar siege machines forced them to spend more, weakening their ability to retaliate.

Meanwhile, the River Flow Clan advanced in silence.

Their warriors moved silently, flowing behind the armored vehicles of the Crimson Shield. Each carried a curved blade, honed for the Water Sword Style.

Soon, Master Ren raised his hand, signaling his warriors. "Hold until the gates falter. Then, we pour in like the river breaking a dam."

His men nodded, their eyes fixed on the gates of Eclipse Domain.

Of course, the defenders fought back fiercely.

Turrets unleashed incendiary cluster bombs, snipers fired Legendary‑Grade bullets, and automated drones swooped down to harass the advancing vehicles.

But the Crimson Shield’s Barrier Generators held firm, absorbing the punishment.

"Barrier integrity at seventy percent!" one Crimson Shield officer reported.

"Keep moving!" Cross shouted. "We’ll reach the walls soon!"

The Thunder Roar siege machines continued their bombardment, each strike forcing Eclipse Domain to divert more energy. Sparks were everywhere as cracks on the barrier began to form.

Inside the shelter, commanders shouted orders. "Reinforce the eastern wall! Divert power from the secondary grid! Hold the barrier!"

But the pressure was too much!

Finally, a massive bolt from the Thunder Roar Clan struck, and the barrier cracked! It weakened a lot, almost as if it was about to be destroyed!
