Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 766: Crush Them
Chapter 766: Chapter 766: Crush Them
With an excited yell, Sun Weitao ran—no, walked, like a human—right up to the front doors of the orphanage.
Sun Weitao pushed open the orphanage door with a trembling hand. As soon as he stepped inside, a small voice shouted:
"Big Brother Wei!"
A rush of tiny footsteps echoed through the hallway. One by one, kids of all ages came running from every corner of the building. Their faces lit up like fireworks when they saw him.
"Big Brother Wei! It’s really you!"
"You came back!"
"You’re not a dream, right?!"
They ran straight into his arms, hugging him tightly. Some of the younger ones started crying, their small hands clutching his clothes.
"Where did you go?! Why didn’t you come back for ten years?" a girl with two pigtails asked, sniffling.
"And why did some people from an insurance company come here ten years ago?" another boy asked.
"They said you left 1 million yuan for us. We used it to keep the place open, but..."
Sun Weitao blinked. "1... million?"
He frowned. That didn’t sound right at all. He clearly remembered—he bought a life insurance policy worth 100 million yuan.
He wanted the kids to be safe for life, not just ten years.
But he didn’t say anything about it. He forced a smile, even though his heart felt weird.
"I’m sorry," he said gently. "I had to go on a... super top secret mission. I couldn’t return. Not even for one day."
The kids’ eyes grew wide. "Wow..."
"A mission?"
"Were you like... a secret agent?"
Sun Weitao laughed nervously. "Something like that."
Just then, one of the little boys tilted his head and grinned. "Did you bring us presents, Big Brother Wei? Like you used to?"
"Yeah!" said another kid. "You always brought snacks and toys before! What did you bring this time?"
Sun Weitao blinked again.
His smile froze.
"...Ah," he said. "I, uh..."
He scratched the back of his head. "Actually... I..."
He was about to make up something funny when a calm voice behind him said,
"It’s with me."
Everyone turned around.
Yu Holea stepped forward, carrying two big cloth bags. She gently placed them on the ground and opened them.
Inside were piles of chocolates, wrapped neatly. Fresh, warm blankets. Cans of tasty food. Boxes of medicine. Even books and toys.
The children’s eyes sparkled.
"Whoa..."
"Chocolates!!"
"Blankets! These are so soft!"
She smiled and said softly, "I’m Sun Weitao’s assistant. He asked me to prepare these for you."
The kids gasped.
One of them pointed. "W-wait... Are you..."
Another one squinted. "You’re—You’re that ice princess!"
Yu Holea blinked. "Huh?"
A third kid screamed, "You’re OP Boss Yu!!"
Now all of them were talking at once.
"We saw you on that variety show—Celebrity in Countryside!"
"You’re so cool and beautiful and smart!"
Yu Holea stood there, stunned. Her silver hair shimmered under the sunlight coming through the window.
One little girl reached out shyly and touched a strand of her hair. "It’s real..." she whispered. "You really are an ice princess..."
More kids came closer, touching her clothes, looking at her with sparkling eyes.
"You’re like a superhero!"
"Do you live in a castle?"
"Can you teach me kung fu?"
Yu Holea laughed awkwardly, cheeks turning a little red.
Sun Weitao was staring at her like she had turned into a goddess.
"Wait," he said. "You’re famous?!"
Yu Holea looked down and nodded, embarrassed. "I was... an actress. I just retired... two days ago."
Sun Weitao gawked. "You’re joking."
"Nope."
He pointed at the chocolates, the medicine, the teleporting, and now the fans all around her.
"Okay, but like... how many things do you know?!"
Yu Holea smiled shyly.
"A few," she said. "I studied acting, medicine, cooking, martial arts, ancient talisman scripts, ghost-summoning, exorcism, and also directing."
Sun Weitao stared at her like his soul had left his body.
One of the kids tugged on his shirt. "Big Brother Wei? Can we keep her?"
Another added, "She’s like... the best assistant ever!"
Sun Weitao laughed, shaking his head.
"I think she might be the best person ever."
Yu Holea chuckled and shook her head.
Yu Holea and Sun Weitao spent the whole afternoon with the kids.
They played games. They handed out snacks. They helped the little ones draw pictures and gave piggyback rides to the toddlers.
The older kids asked questions about training and fighting, and Yu Holea taught them how to do simple martial arts poses.
Sun Weitao told funny stories about his "missions" and made the kids laugh so hard they rolled on the floor.
The warm sunlight came through the windows. Laughter filled the whole orphanage.
Then, the front door opened again.
The orphanage director, a kind-looking woman in her fifties with short gray hair and glasses, walked in carrying a basket of groceries.
As soon as she saw Sun Weitao standing there, her whole body froze.
She dropped the basket.
"...Wei...?"
Sun Weitao turned around and gave her a shy smile.
"Hi, Director Zhou," he said quietly.
The director’s eyes filled with tears almost instantly. She rushed across the room and threw her arms around him.
"You brat!" she cried. "Why didn’t you come back?! Why did you disappear for ten years?! Do you know how worried I was?!"
Sun Weitao hugged her tightly. He wanted to cry, too, but ghosts didn’t have real tears.
"I’m sorry," he said softly. "I really am."
The kids watched the scene with big eyes. Some of them got teary too.
After a while, Director Zhou wiped her eyes, pulled herself together, and said, "Come to my office. We need to talk."
"Okay," Sun Weitao nodded.
As they walked away, Yu Holea gave them space. She went outside and opened the back of a big silver truck.
But this truck wasn’t normal. It had come from her storage space—like a magic pocket world where she kept things.
Yu Holea often did charity work, so she always had supplies ready.
This truck was full of things for kids: toys, clothes, blankets, notebooks, and more.
She began unloading everything slowly, making neat piles on the ground.
Some kids came out and helped her happily, carrying teddy bears and toy robots like they were treasures.
Meanwhile, inside the office, Sun Weitao sat with Director Zhou. They talked for almost three hours.
He asked her about the kids. She told him about their dreams.
He asked if the orphanage was okay. She said yes—but only barely.
Finally, they talked about the money.
When Sun Weitao walked out of the office, his face looked pale.
His energy flickered like a candle in the wind. His shoulders drooped.
Yu Holea noticed right away.
"Are you okay?" she asked. "Your soul energy is... shaking."
Sun Weitao forced a weak smile. "I’m just emotional. That was probably the last time I’ll see them."
Yu Holea nodded slowly.
The kids were still busy playing. They waved at him with big smiles.
"Come visit us again, Big Brother Wei!" a little girl shouted.
"Don’t be a spy next time!" said another boy.
"Yeah! Tell us more cool stories next time!"
Sun Weitao smiled sadly and waved back.
"I’ll try," he said quietly, even though he knew he couldn’t.
He and Yu Holea began walking away from the orphanage.
After a few minutes, Yu Holea looked at him again. "You’re still shaking," she said. "Tell me what’s wrong."
Sun Weitao let out a deep breath.
"I found out the truth," he said slowly. "The insurance company I used... they cheated the orphanage."
Yu Holea’s eyes narrowed. "What?"
"I paid for a 100 million yuan policy," he continued.
"It was supposed to go to the orphanage after I died. But they only gave 1 million. And now... they’ve changed the papers to make it look like that’s all I left."
Yu Holea’s expression turned dark.
Like a storm cloud had just covered the sun.
"They... stole 99 million yuan?" she asked, her voice low and cold.
Sun Weitao nodded. "Yeah. And they’re pretending everything’s fine."
Yu Holea clenched her fists.
Her body temperature dropped.
The air around her turned icy.
She didn’t say anything for a few seconds. Then, in a very quiet voice, she said,
"I can forgive a lot of things."
Her voice trembled slightly with anger.
"But I will never forgive people who cheat orphans. Or people who throw away someone’s sacrifice like it meant nothing."
She looked up at Sun Weitao, her eyes glowing with icy power.
"You helped those kids even after death. Now it’s my turn."
Sun Weitao stared at her, a little surprised by how fierce she looked.
"You’re going to... fight them?" he asked.
Yu Holea gave a small, sharp smile.
"No. I’m going to crush them."
She took out her phone and called her assistant, and asked her to investigate a matter.
Within the next 2 hours, Yu Holea got all the evidence she needed against the black hearted insurance company and reported it.
