Ghost Exorciser: Is Loved By All-Chapter 281:Decoding the Dark Spell -2
Chapter 281: Chapter 281:Decoding the Dark Spell -2
Zephyr who was filled with irritation till now slowly calmed down hearing Yu Holea’s words.
Yu Holea then asked the question she was interested in while looking at the array,
"How do you know about arrays?"
Zephyr replied in a mellow voice,
"Well, when you open the next levels of the talisman pagoda you will come across talismans that have arrays embedded in it.
"What?" Yu Holea couldn’t believe her ears.
Arrays embedded in talismans?
"Hm. Not only that there is also..." but in the middle of the sentence Zephyr stopped.
Yu Holea wanted to know what Zephyr meant but she realized that time was slipping and hence she dropped the sentence ’I will ask you later’ and started asking questions about the array, frёeωebɳovel.com
"Can you explain the array to me?"
"I have no problem but I hardly doubt that you will be able to understand anything," Zephyr replied.
Yu Holea pursed her lips.
Even though she had a deep knowledge of Array, she wasn’t sure whether it was enough or not.
Taking a deep breath she said,
"Explain it to me. Please."
Zephyr didn’t argue and started explaining.
He tried to use simple language so that Yu Holea could understand the array.
Zephyr tried his best but Yu Holea still had difficulty understanding various aspects, hence once Zephyr was finished explaining, she asked him to repeat.
For the next hour, Yu Holea kept on listening to the explanation and finally fully understood the array.
Zephyr was surprised again when it saw Yu Holea’s profound knowledge of the array.
She was almost on par with Master Level Array Masters.
Just who Yu Holea was?
Earlier Zephyr didn’t think much about her.
He only thought that Yu Holea was maybe the fated one and hence was chosen.
After all, according to it, Yu Holea was very weak but what surprised him was Yu Holea’s progress and the fact that she was able to advance so much in her cultivation all by herself.
But not only she was knowledgeable in medicine, mystic cultivation, and talisman-making, but she was also proficient in arrays.
Just how talented she is?
How was she able to learn so much despite her young age?
Unaware of the doubts in Zephyr’s mind, Yu Holea muttered to herself,
"I don’t believe in luck because for me it was always the worst but today I am really in dire need, please be on my side."
Saying so Yu Holea first practiced the array and once she was sure that she was able to make the Confinement array 90% similar to the original array, Yu Holea drew it on the paper.
Since the paper didn’t have any protection the words written on the paper got smeared by Yu Holea’s blood which she was using to make the array.
After Yu Holea was done, she heard Zephyr’s panicked filled voice,
"Are you crazy? What are you doing? If you had wanted to destroy the dark spell, at least you should have told it to me! I didn’t even get the chance to say a last goodbye."
Yu Holea remained silent and kept on looking at the paper that was now leaking blood.
She hoped, that whatever she thought was true, but even after 6 minutes nothing happened.
Just when she thought that she had guessed wrongly, the paper started glowing with golden light, and the blood was absorbed in the paper.
The words written on the paper slowly got replaced by new words and Zephyr who was able to see this change was stunned.
For a moment it couldn’t believe what it was seeing.
The puzzle that various geniuses tried to solve and weren’t able to solve, was solved by a 16-year-old girl.
Just what the f*ck was happening in this world.
Yu Holea is a genius!
That was the thought that appeared in Zephyr’s mind.
Zephyr was thrilled and said in an excited voice,
"Great! Just great! God! You were able to solve it! You are simply a genius!"
Contrary to Zephyr’s excitement Yu Holea wasn’t excited at all and simply said,
"It is not solved yet ."
"What?" Zephyr asked in disbelief.
Just how many layers were remaining?
First the spells, then the array, just what was more remaining?
Yu Holea didn’t answer him and just went to the house in the space.
Along the way, she explained,
"Read the spell, it doesn’t make much sense."
Zephyr read the spell and realized that the spell was very illogical.
If it was only illogical then he would have protested but the fact was spell didn’t hold any magical power at all.
The dark spell earlier engraved on the paper was leaking dark energy, so the light spell hidden behind this dark spell had to brim with light or magical energy.
The more the spell brims with energy, the more powerful it is.
Hence Zephyr knew that Yu Holea wasn’t lying.
After looking around for a long while she saw the milk that she had stored in the space.
Yu Holea wasn’t fond of milk but to ensure that she could use the space as her emergency house, she had placed all the necessary food and clothes in there.
She picked up the milk and spilled it on the paper.
This time Zephyr didn’t say a word and quietly watched.
As expected the paper suddenly transformed and Zephyr felt a wave of powerful magical energy washing it and Yu Holea over.
He cheered,
"Yay! Yay! We finally did it!"
Yu Holea didn’t comment on Zephyr’s attempt to snatch her credit and looked at the spell with doubt.
"What are you looking at? Just chant it! I want to see its effect."
Yu Holea remained silent and finally asked her doubt,
"Zephyr don’t you think something is wrong?"
"What now?" Zephyr asked in a bit irritated voice.
Yu Holea ignored Zephyr’s irritation and said,
"Did you realize that each layer had a meaning and mystery? First, it was the alchemy..."
"Alchemy?" Zephyr asked.
What was the relation between alchemy and the first step?
"Do you know the reason why I wasn’t able to burn the paper? It was because the paper was painted with a special potion that could make the paper indestructible."
"Ohhhh," Zephyr said with enlightenment in his voice.
"To counter it we had to use spell."
"How did you know that to counter it you need to use a spell?" Zephyr asked.
Yu Holea wasn’t in a hurry,
"A major part of alchemy in Mystic Cultivation relies on spells. So I guessed that the first spell was to counter the potion. The second step was array because I kept on feeling as if the words on the paper were restricted or confined by something..."
Zephyr who understood Yu Holea’s thought process continued,
"So you asked about the array and coincidentally the array that was made by that great person was a confinement array."
Yu Holea continued,
"The next step was his favorite food. Do you know that most people have a strange thought process, they always hide or protect the thing they want by using their favorite?
Just like a person’s mobile phone password is always related to his or her birthday or a close one’s birthday.
So I guessed that maybe the real spell was hidden by something that great person was obsessed with..."
"...Milk" Zephyr finished.
Yu Holea nodded.
"So what is the problem, didn’t we use up everything? What else is remaining." Zephyr asked.
By now he was truly impressed with Yu Holea’s thought process.
Yu Holea shook her head and said,
"Zephyr you know the answer."
"What ?" Zephyr was baffled by Yu Holea’s words.
What does she mean that it knows the answer?
"Each layer had invoked an emotion in you. First, you somewhat mocked me and distrusted me, second, you were amazed by me, third, you were thrilled..."
Then she paused and asked,
"Now tell me what is fourth emotion?"
"Isn’t this the end?" Zephyr asked in an uncertain tone.
Yu Holea suddenly smiled and said,
"Indeed, it should have been the end and you shouldn’t have returned."
"What?" Zephyr was confused.
What she was even saying?
Yu Holea asked in a light voice,
"Are you going to come out on your own or do you want me to burn down the entire paper? "
Before Zephyr could reply, it realized that it was feeling very heavy, as if...as if...
"Oh god! Is some spirit trying to possess me?" Zephyr exclaimed.
Yu Holea simply channeled her mystic energy toward the place where Zephyr’s original fragmentation was.
A shriek sounded and before Zephyr could do anything, a gaseous form soul appeared in front of Yu Holea.
Even though the soul-like thing didn’t have any face, Zephyr sensed the hostility it was radiating.
"How did you know." The soul-like thing asked with deep resentment.
It was a question directed at Yu Holea, who leisurely leaned against the kitchen’s platform and said in a nonchalant tone,
"First you tell me who are and what you want."
